This Kia service center in DTLA does not offer a ride sharing service such as Uber/Lyft to take customers home after dropping car off to get serviced when Kia of Cerritos does. I have already chatted with Eric in Service, but putting this in writing will go on the record. I had an appointment at 12:20 pm. This was my second trip in the last couple of weeks to resolve recall issu this in writing will go on the record. I had an appointment at 12:20 pm. This was my second trip in the last couple of weeks to resolve recall issues. Although I arrived on time, I was not put in contact with a service representative until after 1:00. I was admonished at one point for not waiting in my car but after waiting over 40 minutes, my back was bothering me. I was not happy because although I had an appointment, I was directed to the walk-in lane. My car was #33 and second in line behind a walk-in customer.. The gentleman on line behind me was #34 but he was directed to the appointment lane and was in the first position. Sure enough when a service rep finally appeared, he went right to the car that came in after me. I explained that based on YOUR numbering system I was actually first in line. He told me he didn't know but he'd be with me after he helped this gentleman. I pitched a fit and was finally taken care of in the correct order. I am aware that you have many new employees but the timing and customer service were unacceptable. I gave 2 stars rather than 1 because the more experienced employee who wrote up my paperwork was pleasant enough but it did not erase the issues. It's important for you to know and try and do much, much, much better. More
