I bought my KIA RIO 9 years ago brand new. Lousy mileage from day one, average 20-23 miles in city. Management was not interested in giving me a better one. They'd say call a special 800 number, which was a waste of time. The problem with KIA is they boast of great customer service, but it doesn't exist. When I bought the car I got free oil changes and a carwash. They discontinued the carwash and oil changes now cost $100. I would not recommend KIA service. Vehicle took 2 hours 20 minute not an hour or less. The TV blares from the sitting room, it is way too loud as we sit in chairs that are dirty, my clothes turned black. The garage drop off area is chaotic and crowded. For a future discount, they tell you what to say on customer service surveys to make them look good. With the exception of AJ (he's great) and a previous agent Khahil (sp?) my experience has not been positive. Though I will admit, except for my car's poor mileage, it's actually a good car. Just wish I could get better service and a car with better mileage. More
The line to get into the service center is always super long. It's also super painful to get any warranty work done here.
