I originally came in March 6 7:40am for the recall and when I got there they told me they didn't have the part and I would have to come back. I was taken back because my appointment was schedule a few wee when I got there they told me they didn't have the part and I would have to come back. I was taken back because my appointment was schedule a few weeks prior so I wasn't understanding how my appointment was for the recall ignition and yet my part wasn't available when I came in. Information of that nature should have been communicated before I came in and not have my time wasted with you all having my car for a little over an hour to tell me that at the end I would have to come back. I was told I should receive a call in the next week for when the part will come in, the problem is the call never came. I called about 3 weeks after I came in and was assured that my part is still not available, for me not to call and I will receive a call and text when it is ready. I waited and at the beginning of May I called again because I haven't received any call, email or text and a manager texted me and told me the part will be in the next day and scheduled me for an appointment on 14 May. I get to the appointment and the guy comes in to tell me due to me not coming in within the month from march, my part was sent back. My mind was blown as I told him I never received a call, text or etc and I actually called in the month of march to ask about my part and was told it wasn't available. He told me he doesn't know what happened but because of that they do not have a part for me so I showed him the text messages from the manager that said my part was available since may 6, when I showed him that he told me well I can make a call to see if someone can pick up the part from Carson location. I asked to speak to a manager, A guy named Jay came in and I showed the same messaging and told him how I was feeling - 1. my part came twice and was given to other people both times 2. that having my car fixed for the recall was not a priority for dtla since there was no money payment being processed ( in my opinion this is a high priority recall due to people cars being stolen, mines almost being stolen a month prior to the fix being put out which is why my key part of my car door doesn't work) 3. I was confused how kia dtla was able to call carson to get the part for my car but couldn't do that the first day that I came in Jay said he was sorry that that shouldn't have happened especially because I came twice with no parts readily available and communication. They told me I would have to be there for a couple more hours while they send someone to drive to get the part and back and told me they will give me an oil change on the house as if that truly did something to help. The service I received was truly poor and less than satisfactory. More
