I also was trying to get a new license plate attached and there was just a bunch of miscomm communicate well about how much they would be able to do. The guy told me I had to pay all this extra stuff for my engine because I got replaced because of the recall and I was willing to pay for it then when I got the bill I noticed that he put per customer's req engine because I got replaced because of the recall and I was willing to pay for it then when I got the bill I noticed that he put per customer's request I did not request cabin filters filters cabin filters are heard not that important they are important but not that important I told him specifically I will only pay for the stuff that's needed for my engine and he added on a whole bunch of stuff then they tried to charge me for putting on the drivebelt how are you going to charge me for putting on the drivebelt And that's literally a part of fixing the engine And on top of all that he had my car for almost 2 weeks I didn't say that I didn't complain but in that whole 2 weeks he only called me one time in time never updated me if it wasn't for the nice ladies at the service desk I wouldn't ever knew nothing about my car More

It was the worst experience I have ever had. I waited for over 30 mins for some to acknowledge me and take my information down. My car was promised to me at 5 pm. I never once got an update or any type of co over 30 mins for some to acknowledge me and take my information down. My car was promised to me at 5 pm. I never once got an update or any type of communication. I went back at exactly 6 pm to find out that the place was closed. I had to bike it all the way to work at the airport from downtown because of the incompetence of this location. The next day when I went to go pick up my car. They had no explanation as to what went wrong. I asked to speak to the manager Jose and he had me waiting for over 30 mins for reasons I don't know. After 30 mins, I decided to leave and demanded that I receive a call to express my disappointment. I never got a call from management. I am only left to assume no one had the managerial courage to own up to their mistakes and try to make it better. Kia of downtown LA is a joke and now I understand why they have such bad ratings online. More

When I arrived, a manager was training employees on the floor to acknowledge the existence of other customers. I then waited for several minutes without being acknowledged. More fundamentally, the whole ex floor to acknowledge the existence of other customers. I then waited for several minutes without being acknowledged. More fundamentally, the whole experience was negative. I came in because my car was getting half the MPG it is supposed to. My tech, Manuel Miramontes, seemed more interested in getting me to swipe my credit card for non-covered maintenance than he did in actually investigating the problem. I have no doubt that if my car had been out of warranty, they would have had no problem taking it in and billing me for thousands in diagnostics, parts, and labor. Sadly, this is yet another manufacturer-authorized service center whose entire business model appears to be predicated on avoiding in-warranty repairs and steering customers toward out-of-pockeg costs.
