I did not purchase a car from them, my review is based on my experience with the Kia DTLA service center. I have never had so many problems with staff or been treated so poorly as a customer. They routinely give you misinformation, then act as though you're crazy when you complain about it. The staff is poorly trained, many of them don't know anything about cars or car repair, and they aren't even courteous. I took my car in for a power issue and they assured me the main battery on my electric vehicle was not the problem, even though I told them that's what I thought it was, and instead made me pay $500 for a different repair. When I was visibly distraught because I did not have the $500 and I did not understand why this issue would not be covered when I was still under dealer warranty, PLUS I had an extended warranty. Instead of offering me other options to pay (I found out later they offer installment plans) the girl who assisted me just kept saying there was nothing she could do, and when I angrily pointed out that someone had called me the previous day and told me the parts were covered under warranty, asking who could be help accountable for this misinformation, the girl called security on me. Well, I paid the $500 and it solved nothing. Turns out, my main battery WAS INDEED the problem. To add insult to injury, my car had to stay in their shop "indefinitely" due to a backordered battery, and they refused to offer me a loaner car (they had a six month waiting list for loaners) until I got corporate involved nearly three months after my car went in for repairs. They ended up keeping it for EIGHT MONTHS total and when they returned it to me, it was covered in a layer of grime and filth. They didn't even take the time to hose it off, let alone wash the outside. I pray that another Kia dealer opens in Los Angeles, because the only other 2 are in surrounding cities, too far away to be convenient. If I had a choice, I would NEVER bring my car here. More
I normally don't look forward to coming into the dealership to get my vehicle serviced, but Gabriel made me feel very welcomed with his kindness and professionalism , helped me with my questions and dealership to get my vehicle serviced, but Gabriel made me feel very welcomed with his kindness and professionalism , helped me with my questions and directed me to the service department where Christine helped me out even more. She was very sweet, she gave me a perfect time expectation on when my vehicle would be ready, her patience with my many questions made me feel great and not like a nuisance, both of their professionalism and their amazing customer service is top tier, i highly recommend them to anyone and i know they won't be disappointed , thank you again More

Pésimo servicio, primero porque trate de contactarme atravez del teléfono y nunca contestaron así que fui personalmente a hacer mi cita y me la dieron a las 9 de la mañana, pues había una línea que le d atravez del teléfono y nunca contestaron así que fui personalmente a hacer mi cita y me la dieron a las 9 de la mañana, pues había una línea que le daba la vuelta al negocio así que después de una hora de espera que me tocó mi turno, me salen con que el servicio que yo necesitaba para mí Kia Sorento que era un simple cambio de aceite lo tenía que pagar que porque en el contrato no tenía servicio ain cobro o no se que, ya la verdad harta me fui mejor a dónde venden las partes para comprar el dichoso filtro que solo lo venden ahí así que después de todo los inconvenientes mi hijo me hizo el cambio de aceite. La verdad me hubieran ahorrado toda la perdida de tiempo y el coraje que pase y no me estuviera molestando en escribir este review.. More
Sent my car in for a alternator issue they told me it was my battery. I paid $397 for a new battery. Three days later I returned the vehicle, I was later told my initial concern (the alternator) needed to b my battery. I paid $397 for a new battery. Three days later I returned the vehicle, I was later told my initial concern (the alternator) needed to be replaced for $1088. I said no I have a warranty when I went to pick up my car. They had took parts out of the car. So I had to wait for them to rehook my car. I drove to the dealership where I purchased the car and had a warranty. Under 20 mins a 10 mile street commute my car was smoking and leaking antifreeze. My dealership told me told me to tow it back to Kia ( who returned my car in worse condition) to fix the leak before getting the alternator fixed. It’s been since June 2nd since I’ve had my vehicle. It is now June 26th and I have no loaner car or have any update as to when my car will be fixed just to get it sent to the dealership to get my alternator fixed. Zero stars awarded to the customer service at Kia Downtown. Oh I forgot to mention they put a deep scratch on the right side or my car under the passenger light. AND did NoT take pictures of my car when I initially brought it in to prove there fault/error. More
