Even though you know KY is the best! My Kia Sportage has 167K miles and it always goes to this service center they are reasonable in prices compared to other mom and pop shops. Always a great service experience! I have never been someone who would go to the dealer for service. However, in late 2013 I bought my first hybrid vehicle, an Optima Hybrid, from Kia C I have never been someone who would go to the dealer for service. However, in late 2013 I bought my first hybrid vehicle, an Optima Hybrid, from Kia Country of Savannah. With it being a hybrid, I wanted to make sure it was being serviced by people who knew the car's needs. So, I made the drive to get my oil changes and other scheduled maintenance done at the dealership. I thought I would do this for about a year, then look into other options. Well, three and a half years and 70,000 miles later, I am still driving the extra distance to Kia Country of Savannah for my scheduled maintenance. Why? First, I have never had a bad experience there. The staff is always friendly, helpful, and does a good job of keeping you informed of your vehicle's status. Second, the prices are actually fairly reasonable. If they have a special or coupon going on, they will usually let me know and apply it automatically. Third, the waiting area has free coffee, bottled water, and even snacks, in addition to comfortable seating. For these reasons, I am a loyal Kia Country of Savannah customer! I highly recommend them! He really has a way of explaining all the details about a vehicle to my wife and I without personifying the typical salesman persona. He made the car buying experience fun and easy to understand. We were comfortable the entire time, and we did not feel pressured at all during this process. He went out of his way several times to get water for my whole family (dog included) as we looked for our new vehicle. I also thought Brian was well versed in his knowledge about the vehicles we looked at. Whenever we had a question, he immediately knew the answer and took the time to carefully answer. He was very patient with us. Brian was extremely helpful throughout the entire process from beginning to end. He carefully explained everything as we searched the lot, negotiated the price, worked with the finance department, and made sure our new vehicles was ready. He also helped us unpack our old car and remove license plates! Overall, Brian is a FANTASTIC salesman. In fact, I have already referred several family members to him. We will definitely come back to this dealership to buy another vehicle because of our experience with him. We're already looking forward to buying our third car from Brian in the future! The sales associate, Kevin Ford was very gracious and willing to go out of his way to accommodate us. As we were negotiating the sales price and our trade-in value his sales manager, Jordan Sinsuat sat down with us. He was aggressive and dismissive of our desire for time to think about this major purchase. We explained to him the other offers for similar vans that we had seen advertised at other locations. He curtly explained how that offer is misleading. Then he says that we would never actually get that deal and that we would be foolish to go down there. He also felt it was foolish for us to sleep on any deal that he would offer us. He bragged about how many sales they had made that day, I guess to imply that he didn't care whether we bought from him or not. He told us how qualified he was to appraise the value our trade-in. He low-balled us, no surprises there. But it was thousands of dollars below the Nada Guides dealer trade-in offers we had checked before we headed up there. He also gave us numbers for a vehicle that was in rough shape, which ours is not. The vehicle is a 2016 with typical mileage, no mechanical issues or blemishes to the body/paint. In other words in excellent condition, not rough. I understand that some of this is negotiating tactics. This isn’t my first rodeo with a car dealer. He had an adversarial demeanor that was very off putting, especially in contrast to Kevin's polite accommodation. As we were walking out we did get a decent offer on the Sedona (still refused to let us sleep on it), but his attitude turned us off from wanting to do business with this dealership. Kevin was great and I’m sorry we did’t do business with him. Thanks to Jordan I would rather not go back there again. More
