I obtained my car in March of 2017 with two extra policies through financing with Santander Consumer USA. It was totaled 3 weeks later. I personally called to report the total lost. Fast forward 202 policies through financing with Santander Consumer USA. It was totaled 3 weeks later. I personally called to report the total lost. Fast forward 2020 I checked my credit report to see three years of late payments to Santander. Apparently Kia Country of Savannah never sent the checks for the policies to cover the bill. After four months of constant calls and visit i was informed only one check can be sent as the second(the largest amount) has expired and there is nothing I can do. I began asking about the checks in February 2020, they didn't send payment until July 2020. Now i am left with three years bad payment history and $1,200 in debt owed to Santander all because they failed to issue checks or even care because I refused to buy another car from them. I am in the process of speaking with an attorney to handle this matter because this is life changing bad business. More
