My car was stolen but recovered within a few hours. I normally recommend Bronx Kia, so it only made sense to have the repair the car. The biggest mistake in history. I went in person to see how much it was going to be to fix and pay the bill. The writer has tech look it over briefly and says call insurance they cracked the transmission it’s going to be expensive. I trust my advisor and call insurance. Repair gets approved. On June 5 insurance calls and says the car will be ready by Friday. I take an uber on Saturday 6th car is in the same condition it was towed in not repaired. Writer says by Monday the latest the car should be ready. He tells me they are putting a used tranny in the car. He goes through all the cons. I told him not to put that in my car. I’ll pay for a new one. I paid for my whole claim out of pocket on the 6th. I called insurance and told them I did not want that in my car. On June 25th I got a call from insurance asking if I had picked my car up. It has been ready since the 20th. I texted the writer and asked if it was ready and he said yes. I ask did you put the used tranny in my car. He said the Bodyshop did because it was on the claim. He states the Bodyshop is going to call you. I smelled the xx coming my way. I told him I would be there tomorrow. I take an uber on the 27th the writer states they must put the cylinder in. I go to the Bodyshop car is in the same condition it was towed in. No work was done but the tranny. The guy at the shop stated he will call me when they finish everything. I took an uber to retrieve the car on the 10th of July because it has been two months, and this is ridiculous. I will have someone else repair it. He brings the car and states the steering wheel cover is on back order and the only thing missing. The cover wasn’t on backorder I got the piece the same day from another kia dealer. He states we must go to kia because they aren’t answering the phone to make sure its ok to release. He goes inside and speaks with Brandon. He comes out with Brandon who is looking at the claim and states the car is not fully paid for. I ask for a copy of the Ro. He goes the Repair order. Of course. I called my daughter to take a copy of the Ro and receipt from my desk. I go inside and I find it strange that we are the parts counter instead of the service desk. I asked for the RO, a second time and he state he is calling the writer who is not at work for a copy of it. At this point I knew he was xxxxxxxxxxxx! He doesn’t answer. Instead of having one of the writers who is at work print it, he continues to flip through the claim as if something is going to magically change. My copy gets sent. I show him the proof and he state, “I am not sure how you got this?” I said from Bronx kia when I paid the bill it literally says Bronx kia on it. He starts flipping through the claim again. I am seriously annoyed at this point. I asked the Bodyshop guy, “do you need me, I must go to work?” He asks can he release the car and he say yes. I drive off and everything seems ok until I hit a speed bump. I hear a clinking sound. I’m thinking maybe I need shocks or new struts. I get to my job, and describe the sound, they check under the car and find out my fuel tank is on the ground because they never put the bolt or clamp back in the piece of metal that holds the fuel tank to the car. The metal piece is dragging making noise. They could have killed me. Avoid this place like it is the PLAGUE!!!!! More
Went in for scheduled recall part replacement at 9am 6/10 only to find out they didn't have the part. Was informed that they would call when part is in. 1 month later...no call. Called today, started to ask. only to find out they didn't have the part. Was informed that they would call when part is in. 1 month later...no call. Called today, started to ask..was cut off. 2nd time as well. Horrible experience! Going back to my original dealership. Own 2 Kias, looking for replacement soon. Not from you! More
