Unfortunately this is not a positive review. This is also not a review of everyone in the shop. Alex Nipas the service manager is a rude, unprofessional and dishonest person. I took my car t This is also not a review of everyone in the shop. Alex Nipas the service manager is a rude, unprofessional and dishonest person. I took my car to be serviced. I first dealt with Brenda who was very kind and professional. She informed me that there would be a $199.99 diagnostic fee (way too expensive), but I agreed to pay it. I was also informed by her and later by Keith a service advisor that if the car had an issue that needed to be repaired , and I had it repaired there then I would not have to pay the diagnostic fee. I would just pay for the repair. She wrote up my service order, and had it reviewed by the service advisor Keith. After about 20 minutes Keith returned informing me of my issue and what the cost of the parts would be. It was expensive so I asked if there was any way to lower the cost. He left and returned and had the cost lowered for each of the two parts. I let him know I would get the repair done. He wrote up the actual cost of the work to be done, and included other recommended service for my vehicle since it had slightly over 107,000 miles. I agreed to the total cost of all the services listed. Keith informed me that this was the total cost I would pay for parts, service and labor. It was 1185.67. Thank God I took a picture of the original invoice. I was called by Keith and told that my car would be ready by 2:00pm. When I returned I was given my invoice to pay but noticed it was different. It was 30 dollars cheaper, however three of the original services that were recommended were no longer there. So why is my invoice basically the same. Also there was a charge of $389 added to my invoice with no clear explanation. It read 199.99 diagnostic fee. And the difference was not explained. Firstly I was not to pay a diagnostic fee. I asked for an explanation. Person who serviced car was not there. No one knew why so I went into service area and asked the gentleman who was at the parts desk. He explained that the recommended service that was not done because that was fine. No one told me that the work was not done. I was just handed an invoice and expected to pay! I was told to see the service manager Alex to fix the invoice. Went to speak to Alex and explained the pricing problem. At first he looked at the invoice and insisted it was correct and the the additional charge was a labor charge and diagnostic fee charge. I tried to explained that I was not to pay diagnostic fee and the all charges on my original invoice included everything as per Keith. He raised his voice, told me I don't understand . I told him to compare the two invoices. He didn’t have the original (so he said). I told him that I had a picture of it. He continued to raise his voice and tell me that I didn’t understand that he was trying to help me. He kept trying to convince me that the invoice was the same. It clearly was not. I sent the original invoice to his emailed. He printed it out . I was able to show him the blaring differences. He highlighted them. He still refused to make the correction and told me he had to add some labor cost. He called the service advisor Keith who created my original invoice. Keith explained to him that the additional recommended service was not done and that he should remove those cost from the invoice. Alex insisted on not doing as Keith said and had me in that place for about 50 minutes trying to get me to pay additional cost for stuff that was not done. In the process he was rude, unprofessional and raised his voice at me several times, such that I had to tell him to stop. He reached out to Keith two more times and Keith gave him the answer which was to remove the charges and he would discuss things with him later. After almost an hour Alex fixed the bill, I paid and left. More
