Rude and condescending sales managers. My wife and I recently looked to purchase a new kia from the cerritos dealership. John the saleman was friendly at first but as we continued into the purchase offer we did recieve some rude comments. I did relay to him that we would be purchasing the vehicle in cash and i know dealerships would rather you finance for their benefit so i don't know if the change in attitude was because of this or if he just did not take me seriously. The real problem began when John brought his manager into the deal. From the very beggining Sergio was rude and condescending. I had hoped to get at least a few hundred of the price but was told by Sergio that it was impossible to do. Impossible? I admit i did get excited and a little loud knowing full well that something could have been done and instead of talking to me as a customer he spoke down to me saying "What am i getting excited about, it's only car." as well as some other rude comments. I don't know how Sergio sees a $30k purchase but i see it as a major investment. Needless to say we left the lot, went to car pros kia of .H.B., which i highly recommend, and purchased our new Sorento. And we even paid less than what Sergio said was impossible to do.
