LIfetime Tires is a Joke We bought two Kias because of the Lifetime tires. We got our service done like clockwork every time it was due. So what happened when the tires needed to be changed. They said we missed an alignment. Well if they didn't tell us we needed one we wouldn't have known that we needed it. Then just when we came in for an oil change the mechanics changed the station on our satellite radio. Tell me why would the service tech need to change the channels on a radio for an oil change? More

I was very realistic about the chance being small of me getting a trade done due to me being upside down in my car and not having the best credit but I figured it never hurt to try. I applied online and was assigned to Chris as my salesman. He of course won me over with his charm and guaranteed me a sale with my co signer and had me drive to columbus which is over an hour away to sign papers. I get there and "it's too late for the banks" so they have me sign to drive he car home for over a week since I was going on vacation for a week in 2 days and return Sunday the 23rd to sign cause they would have the week to work papers up. Sunday comes and I'm told and estimate of my payment and that we would get there and sign and be done.....after over 3 hours of waiting cause they decided the day I get back to start working on it after and them trying to put it in my co signers name alone after being told by us that we weren't gonna do it in her name alone several times chris once again comes at me with taking the kia home once again but first thing Monday morning he will know something and that he personally will drive me my car back if it's a no or drive me the contracts since I was inconvenienced twice for trips there. Well on Monday I hear NOTHING till 4 pm when I finally text him for him to say he's been busy and will contact me shortly than lunch today (tuesday) comes and I finally text him and he promises he's going to management to find out but decides to go to lunch instead. Finally at 2 pm I call him and get the answer I've been expecting that's it's not gonna happen. Now I'm waiting for them to return my car and come get their 2015 kia forte which now has close to 400 miles due to their lies to get me to drive to columbus twice. I understand the issue with the trade but I don't appreciate the way the situation was handled and the way I have been put off constantly like I hadn't been putting off my own car payment because of their guarantees. Now I have to call my car payment people and explain why the first time since I've had the car I'm late. So no I will never recommend business to kia in columbus. My opinion they need to get their ducks in a row and learn some respect. More

I am a pretty blunt and to the point person; I told him what I was interested in, what my budget was and what I could and could not do! He immediately got to it. He worked with me little over a week, made me an awesome deal! He understood where I was coming from being a single mom on a budget. Any concerns I had, he addressed them immediately. His friendliness and down to earth personality made me comfortable and made me trust him and what he was telling me. He is great at his job!!! I would and have already referred friends and family to go to Columbus Kia and ask for him. More

BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE AT SERVICE CENTER I live about an hour from Columbus GA and I first discovered this KIA location about 6 months ago. It is a bit farther for me to drive, but upon the first visit I was very pleased with the customer service, friendliness and organization of the entire service department. I was so impressed that I changed locations from the Albany to this particular store. I visited the store to get an oil change on today April 10, 2014 and everything was going pretty well...my husband made the initial contact with the service personnel. We were waiting and I had to get some items out of my car so I approached the desk to get the key from the personnel that were standing behind the counter. Upon arriving at the desk three persons were talking behind the desk and it seemed to be personal, but I politely waited until they finished their conversation. I stood there about 2 or three minutes and waited patiently for them to address me to see what I needed. After they completed their personal conversation I expected them to say something to acknowledge that was standing there, but they proceeded to look down and didn't even acknowledge me. I became irritated and stated to them that I had been waiting and that it was very rude of them not to acknowledge me the customer. The one man MR. JEROME SHEATS spoke out and said to me in a very rude way..."Well I was getting ready to go to lunch" as if me being there somehow irritated him. I told him that he probably should go since he had such a rude attitude. He just acted like he could "care less" about helping the customer (me) out. He just left and walked off. I really expected an apology or something like ..."I'm sorry mam, I'll be right with you, or sorry for not getting to you quicker" or something or just an apology for his rudeness, but he seemed to act as if he owned the place and it didn't matter. I began asking who the Manager of the store was and some did not even know his full name, which I though was rather strange. After about 10 minutes of searching for the general manager Mr. Ed Braun ( I even asked them to call him) he finally appeared and I explained the matter to him. He said he would speak to the man, but I got the impression that he wasn't going to do so. Later on I spoke with one of the managers of the service department and informed him, Mr. Kellly Facer, what happened. I told him I would not be coming back to this location as I was not treated well. He asked me to come back and he was the only one that really seemed to care about the customer. I hope that no one else has to go through this sort of treatment. I really don't know what happened to the staff I met a few months ago that treated me courteously and with kindness. I plan to write a letter to as many people as I can about my negative experience there and the rude treatment of Mr. Jerome Sheats. Mr. Sheats...you should really be ashamed of yourself...you should definitely not be in a position that deals with the public. You are a negative to the good name of KIA! More
