Went to Kia Atlanta South Dealership May 2021. Worked with car salesman Jawan “Juan” Powell. Test drove and liked a 2022 Kia Sportage, color Black Cherry. I advised I was interested in buying the Worked with car salesman Jawan “Juan” Powell. Test drove and liked a 2022 Kia Sportage, color Black Cherry. I advised I was interested in buying the car. I asked about a used Kia Sportage on the lot but Jawan advised that I should not buy that car because it had a lot of mechanical problems and many paint chips that made the car an eye sore. The car did look to be in bad shape. On May 22nd I decided to buy the 2022 Kia Sportage, contacted Jawan via text message and he advised that the car was still there. Jawan suggested I check into Delta Community Credit Union for financing. He sent a link to my cellphone for a DCCU application to open a checking/savings. He would receive $100 for the referral and I would receive $50. After setting up a checking/savings account with DCCU, I filled out an application for a car loan. I did not like their interest rate. I decided to fill out an application with Kia South Atlanta for car financing. On May 23rd, I sent Jawan a text message asking if the 2022 Kia Sportage had the Nightfall package. He said it did. ***Note: The car sold on this date to another buyer. He does not say one word about the sell. May 24th, Jawan sent me the Kia application for financing via a text message link which I completed. Jawan said they were about to close so my application would be run the next day. May 25th @12:03pm, I asked Jawan to send me a picture of the window sticker display for the car with all the information (*this is key)… He never sent the picture…. @3:21pm I sent Jawan my personal information needed to complete the finance application. @5:51pm Jawan asked if I would be putting any money down and I said No. @6:00pm Jawan stated via text: “He is submitting it now he just had to fill in the blanks” @6:05pm Jawan called me and said I’m sorry but the car has been sold. I could not believe what I was hearing. We had been in close contact about the car over the last 3 days. He said the car was still available. I hung up the phone. I knew this meant he was going to try and hit me up to buy another car on the lot. He calls my phone back to back to back. I do not answer. Get this….he says “I had no idea the vehicle wasn’t there my manager said we have another but we found out it has a couple paint chips on it and didn’t want to sale it until we get some touch up paint on it I have been totally honest with you this entire ordeal.” I mean, how do these people sleep at night. Professional liars!!!! He forgot he told me not to buy the car with the paint chips but all he wanted to do was sell a car so he could EAT. If I had known the car was sold, I would have never completed the financial application. They only had one new Kia Sportage on the lot. Jawan said “We have not pulled your credit nor submitted it yet…FYI” He said he was a great loving guy with the most impeccable morals…Then he says, “I understand you’re mad but just remember who was pushing you not to give us an app this was YOUR IDEA not mine.” What does my Kia financial application have to do with him lying about the car being available for purchase? I said, “Now I know you are sick, Covering your xxx, Goodbye, Please advise your coworkers not to run my credit at all.” Jawan again says, “An on top of that I still haven’t ran your credit ma’am if you don’t get that I’m sorry have a blessed day.” On 05/27/23, I got an email from Jawan stating we understand you would like for us to run your credit in order to purchase a car. Thank you for your application. This was his way of getting back at me. Since you are not going to allow me to use you…since you are not going to buy a car at all…. Screw you!!! I am going to run your credit anyway just to annoy the xxxx out of you with inquiries. Enter this dealership at your own risk!! More

Wow, first new car in 9 years (Kia K5 In-Line, premium pkg) Need to go to school to learn all the new technology and safety features. Justin was great help in jump starting me. Choose to finance with dealership because of rate. I don't have an "emergency fund' so wanted to protect my investment. Purchased Gap Insurance to protect against Total Loss over term of my lone. Kia has 60,000 bumbler-to-bumper warranty then Powertrain up to 100,000. I drive over 15,000/yr+ so purchased service contrast giving me bumper-to-bumper protection for 10 yrs/100,000. I now feel protected against unforeseen problems. I want service dept staff to know my vehicle so I"m sticking with Kia Atlanta South. Randy C More

What's more I provided a kit I bought since I was planning to do the job myself and I had on hand all the belts and parts recommended. The kit was in my van and I told the service personnel that the kit was there so they would use it. My kit was not in my vehicle when I received it but upon inspection the belts that I can see are not new. It makes me wonder if they used any of the other parts, except, perhaps, the timing belt. I don't believe the water pump was replace because there is no sign that the liquid in the radiator was changed or touched in any way. These people are not honest and I will see if I can place a complain in the Better Business Bureau. I need to find out if they did not do as was agreed since I want to make sure that if anything happens to my vehicle, they are responsible. More

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!! Cannot believe this dealership is still running! My Husband and I left feeling completely insulted! We told them when we first came in that we had a set budget, the cars salesman said that was fine and everything was a go, went back to sign papers after being there for hours and hours, and the lady said did they tell you what the payments are going to be? We told her no that they never really discussed that with us, which is weird because that is usually done before going to sign the final paperwork. She said the payments were going to be $170.00 more than the top dollar amount that we could spend. They actually laughed at us, in front of our faces, which is completely uncalled for! Needless to say, we walked out of there super angry and upset After spending about 3-4 hours there! Oh and also, I went to the ladies room to use the bathroom, handicap stall had things floating in the water (who knows what it was) and then the other stall had sticky urine all over the seat! Who wants to sit down on that!? I am pregnant and had to hold my bladder because their bathrooms weren't clean enough to use! Oh and a lit candle on the bathroom counter? Isn't that a fire hazard? They must have put the candle in their to cover up the nasty smell from the 500 day old urine! My Husband used the men's room and said it smelled horrible. No candle lit in there! Needless to say, because of this experience this dealership will NEVER get any of our business and we will advise everyone we know to stay FAR AWAY! More

Horrible place to buy or deal with! Nothing but problems since I bought my Optima Turbo. I have basically new insides, multi sets of new tires. In the 3 months my car replacement parts a Nothing but problems since I bought my Optima Turbo. I have basically new insides, multi sets of new tires. In the 3 months my car replacement parts are cvvt's, cams, shafts. Replaced exhaust and now had to have a new engine! The answers I'm given are NOT correct and I feel things are getting covered up!! Why would you replace an engine and not drive it after its installed?? But it sits in the bay for 2 hours idling?!? Why would they tell 3 adults that they do not report to car fax when asked about the deprecation since all this work has been done?!? Most my questions that was ask to kia south Atlanta was also ask to kia head quarters and was given 2 different answers and this makes me very uncomfortable!! I have contacted many individuals about this issue and south Atlanta kia will do nothing and kia head quarters will do the work under warrenty! But what about when the warrenty runs out! What about where all theses problems started from? What is the route cause? I contacted others outside the dealership and was told to start first with the General Manager. I called and spoke to the general manager, Micheal Jackson, as I was broke down on the side of the road ( the 2nd time ) waiting on them to send a wrecker and loaner about getting me out of the car. I was told we could trade. I ask about my deposit, $$ I have put in the car, I don't want my payments to go up? And then what are they going to do with my car? Mr. Jackson said he was not in control of any of that and the care would be resold! 3 hours later, no wrecker came, no loaner was brought!!! Nothing!!! I've spoke to Kim, their service manager and she is willing to replace and fix anything through the warrenty!!! But again, why is this happening?? The cause? Not just playing A guessing game!! So my smooth ruining car is now driving rough, sounds terrible and nothing is wrong but it never, ever ran like this before!!! I'm tired of feeling like I just got screwed and it's my problem!! Why is the dealership not standing behind the vehicle they sold me? What about Kia head quarters standing behind their name? What a shame!! Never buy from South Atlanta Kia!! They are absolutely HORRIBLE!!! Kia does not stand behind the Vehicle:( More
