Check recalls or warranty extensions that might exist on your car before going to this service shop. Fortunately I checked before moving forward and caught them. When I caught them there was no apology, just a claim it was a mistake. I understand the assistants at the service desk are not going to know everything but a recall that has been out for months should have been easily flagged. With dealers I know it's not always going to be the best price but at least they'll be honest. This is unfortunately not the case at Keystone Volvo of Berwyn. More
I am currently dealing with one issue after another with my current Volvo XC60. Although it is tempting to get out of my Volvo, I will most likely not be buying another Volvo. Before our warranty was up, we my current Volvo XC60. Although it is tempting to get out of my Volvo, I will most likely not be buying another Volvo. Before our warranty was up, we had an electrical panel go on the car. I should have taken that as an indication to get an extended warranty. In the last 10 weeks, I came in for the 70,000 mile service which was expensive with usual maintenance($850) on March 15. At that time I told them about last summer, when the AC broke as we were driving to Wisconsin on a 95 degree day. The car was evaluated at a Volvo in Madison and they were unable to find any leak and replenished the freon. In March I asked them to make sure the AC was functioning and good. Also at that time the oil light was on. It had been on once in the fall and a local service had added oil. Keystone Volvo Service encouraged me to do an oil service and if it happened again I would need to complete an oil consumption test. Within two weeks the AC was out. I was busy with life and not able to get back in to Volvo. On May 7 the car was back in the shop and the AC leak was found and an evaporator needed to be replaced($1750). Again as I was at Keystone Volvo, I asked them to check the oil since it had been flagged at the last visit in March. A state inspection was done and I was told all was good. On June 5 the oil light came on. I called Keystone and was told the next visit available was on Friday June 11 and it was fine to drive with the low oil light on. Three days later the red danger light came on and I came directly in. Currently we are in the middle of an oil consumption test ($530). The worst thing is I feel the car is completely unreliable. I am supposed to drive to New Hampshire next week, but wonder what am i to do if the oil light comes on when I am on the road. I assume that is very unlikely as it is in the first 1,000 miles, but at this point I am very discouraged by my experience with my Volvo XC 60. I sincerely hope that Volvo stands behind their vehicle this time as even though my warranty expired at 50,000 a car with 72,000 should not be requiring such maintenance. Today I was in at my usual service center,. They relayed that Volvos are known for oil consumption and it was their understanding that because of the excessive issues that Volvo was honoring an extended warranty for oil issues. Perhaps if Volvo does the right thing and stands behind their product, I might consider another vehicle as up until the last 8 months I have loved my car. I will be eager to see how much Volvo values their customers. More
Excellent dealership. I have used this dealership since 1998 and would never think to take my car anywhere else. My service person, Richard Barr, is the best. Best dealer service department in the region…regardless of brand. Period. They do everything possible to maintain quality service & great customer relations. You get what you pay for. We have 2 Volvos that of brand. Period. They do everything possible to maintain quality service & great customer relations. You get what you pay for. We have 2 Volvos that are serviced ONLY here. Recommendations on service have always been reasonable…not free, but proactive maintenance pays for itself in safety & long term ownership costs. The quality of then service department is probably more important than the sales staff. This is the only place we go for service. The service staff knows it & shows their appreciation. More

My experience was really great. I was not pressured or annoyed at all during the looking process. The buying process was quick and easy!
