It's April 19, 2011 approximately two weeks prior to picking up my vehicle from Keyes European-Merecedes Benz. I want to be sure I'm balanced in my review so I must say make sure your EXPERIENCE is over picking up my vehicle from Keyes European-Merecedes Benz. I want to be sure I'm balanced in my review so I must say make sure your EXPERIENCE is over and done with BEFORE you write your inital review. LITTLE DID I KNOW, mine was not. Today I will be returning my vehicle to the dealership. For the past two weeks I ended up going through a series of documentation request and then was told that--OOPS--we can't finance you. Which is odd, because my first car was financed by Mercedes Benz Financial. When I sat at the finance manager's desk (4/6) and signed what I intially was told was my paperwork for my new vehicle, I had no idea that something like this could take place. Previously (4/6), I talked about my situation ahead of time and expressed my concerns on if it was the right time on trading my vehicle in. Of course at that point they had to review my credit and go over my situation. At that point and time, I was very aware that I could possibly leave the dealership without a vehicle that day and I was prepared for either outcome due to my circumstances. Four hours, post-arrival, I was told that I was approved and my trade in would be taken, along with a down payment of $1500.00. As I sat in finance managers office I viewed my credit report and score and asked questions and also talked a bit about the interest rate with him in regards to the differences at that time. We talked in great detail, but, never once did you mention a possibiliy of me being inconvience in this way. I left the dealership and cancelled my extended warranty on my previous vehicle (because I did not need it any longer), changed over my insurance (to my new vehicle), told my past automobile company that the car was sold. The following day April 7, 2011, I forwarded documentst that were requested about my home loan modification documents. SO PLEASE BEWARE, although I was NEVER actually advised the issue, THIS COULD BE AN ISSUE. SO DON'T BE SWAYED AND IT'S PROBABLY BETTER TO WAIT UNTIL THINGS ARE CAUGHT UP. It was explained to me that bank would just want to review my loan modification documents on my property to verify that the modification was complete. Which the documentations reveals. Then I recieved another phone call on Friday, April 15, 2011 with a request for my bank statements showing that my payments are being caught up. Which it does reflect my efforts and timeliness of working to maintain and get back up to speed. On April 18, 2011, my sales rep called me and told me that the dealership is requesting that I have a co-signer. I was completely floored at this point, I didn't have a co-signer for my last Mercedes, which the ticket price was much higher than the C300. I have paid continuously on my previous vehicle loan through Mercdes Benz Financial and obviously if the credit score was a problem, to my previous knowledge and car buying experience I would have never been allowed to leave the lot. FOR OTHER BUYERS: BEFORE LEAVING THE LOT BE SURE TO ADDRESS IF THIS IS A DONE DEAL. OF COURSE, YOU WOULDN'T WANT TO GO HOME AND SHOW YOUR FAMILY A CAR THAT IS NOT YOURS. IT CAN BE QUITE DISHEARTENING. LUCKY FOR ME MY FAMILY LIVES IN TEXAS. I am very disappointed the outcome, however, lucky for me I have a vehicle that I traded in that I loved. I will just need to revisit my warranty situation for another six months. I enjoy being a Mercedes Benz owner, however, the outcome of this experience has been less than satisfying. My only hope is that Keyes European- Mercedes Benz would do the due-diligence and just be sure a person knows this DEAL and another outcome can arise near future. Instead of being blindsided. I am a huge fan of Keyes Mercedes Dealership, in the past I am a huge fan of Keyes Mercedes Dealership, in the past I have done some service at the Valencia Mercedes dealership, (which is very close to where I am a huge fan of Keyes Mercedes Dealership, in the past I have done some service at the Valencia Mercedes dealership, (which is very close to where I live), but frankly the service very poor all around and I much prefer driving further to get the high quality from Keyes.... I look forward to getting my next car with you. More

Although the staff is very freindly at Keyes watch your pocket book. I was blinded by the snazzy Mercedes and way overpayed. Don't let them just give you down payment/monthly payment numbers, demand that t pocket book. I was blinded by the snazzy Mercedes and way overpayed. Very nice environment with great service and choice of color combinations for my car. I was greeted by a sales gal Elvina and offered beverages and cookies!!! Wow!!! Two minutes after my wife and i came back from the test drive and totally lost with our decision, the manager (Arton) came introduced himself. He was extremely knowledgeable and without pressure helped us in our decision making. He was well mannered and well spoken...soon to find out he is an ex-attorney...how many dealerships do you know that have an attorney for a manager... Post sale followup was great...checked with other dealers too but we had the BEST DEAL in town. More

I bought a used E320 from Vlady. He was friendly and knowledgeable. I came to look at a new car and he suggested I look at a preowned also. The preowned looked almost the same as the new one and He save knowledgeable. I came to look at a new car and he suggested I look at a preowned also. A week later I had a small problem with the vehicle and they took care of me right away and gave me a free loaner with no objections. Judging by my experience I would recommend this dealer. More

Excellent service and knowledge. Have purchased 5 cars dealing with mike and he has been very helpful since the beginning. I cant believe some of the other reviews i have read especially the one stating M dealing with mike and he has been very helpful since the beginning. I cant believe some of the other reviews i have read especially the one stating Mike having a swastika on his forearm. Mike and I spoke about a lot of stuff besides cars and one of them was religion. The tattoo mistaken for a swastika is a religious cross. My experience with Keyes has been the best and i have recommended many friends and family to Mike and they have been extremely satisfied with his service and knowledge as well. More

I was extremely happy with the service/experience of Keyes European. I went to several dealers in the L.A. area before purchasing a mercedes from Keyes, and I found many of these other dealers to be pus Keyes European. I went to several dealers in the L.A. area before purchasing a mercedes from Keyes, and I found many of these other dealers to be pushy, impatient, and tried rushing into a deal I didnt want.
