I absolutely loathe going to car dealerships. I always feel like prey waiting to be feasted on or taken advantage of. Also, in the 4-5 cars I've bought over the years, I've always had last minute issues feel like prey waiting to be feasted on or taken advantage of. Also, in the 4-5 cars I've bought over the years, I've always had last minute issues arise to make me jump through more hoops or delay things for days or even weeks later (that didn't make sense), after thinking everything was all set. It's NEVER gone smooth. Not at this dealership. I went in, fully expecting the same old-same old, but it couldn't have gone any smoother or quicker. I never felt like I was being set up to sign something I would later regret (another first). I was just going in to look at a possible upgrade from my current car and see what some numbers would look like and 4 hours later (it was a little busy that day) I was leaving in my brand new car, with the trim level and extras that were exactly what I wanted. We, very respectfully, played with some numbers to get the financing exactly where I felt comfortable and had a deal. It was that easy. Joel was awesome. I never felt pressured, once. Even did a little personal chatting as we were waiting on a few things. Very pleasant conversation and he was on top of the whole transaction. For the first time ever, I can say I had an amazing experience at a car dealership. I didn't think that was a possibility.
