A few weeks ago I experienced the most stereotypical car dealership interaction that I could have, which has left me entirely disgusted. I will never advise anyone to go to Key Hyundai in Manchester in sear dealership interaction that I could have, which has left me entirely disgusted. I will never advise anyone to go to Key Hyundai in Manchester in search of a vehicle. I test drove a grey Kona and received the offered sale price regarding the vehicle. A week later I returned to bring back my offer that was $295 less then the original sale price. The original grey Kona had sold but there was a similar white Kona available. The sales rep, Joel, reassured me that it was the same car so the numbers would still stand. He ran the numbers into a lower term (still basing all it off the ORIGINAL quote). Everything was in order still. I was pre-approved and brought in my new offer, clearly stating that if they would match my offer and match what my car was previously appraised at another dealership that I would be ready to sign and purchase the car that night. All basing it off the deal on my proposal. He brought my offer back and while we waited for them to review, Joel returned to access my credit to ensure it would match my pre-approved credit. At that time, I was agreeing off my new offer, based off the ORIGINAL quote. After pulling my credit report he returned with a higher price now including a down payment to get to the monthly payments I desired. They completely blindsided me and pulled my credit report under false pretenses. I expressed my concern that they had absolutely no expectation of considering my offer and continued to pull my credit. The reasoning for the price difference going up was that the different color impacted the price of the vehicle, and that the “flex cash” they were given that got my originally offer lower had all been used on different customer. Not only did they pull my credit without complete agreement on the price, the entire time I sat there the “guys behind the desk” giving the numbers were entirely disrespectful and offensive. We sat there for 30 minutes as they criticized my offer and my expectations- WHICH I REPEAT WAS ONLY $295 LESS THEN WHAT MY ORIGINAL GIVEN QUOTE WAS. It was completely uncalled for; it was ill-mannered to be in ear range of the customers condemning them. You knew my offer from the beginning and after my credit was affected by the report, you decide that I am being ridiculous for my expectation of what the sale price should have been. If it was unable to be met, a new offer should have been presented to me BEFORE my credit was pulled. Other sales/ mangers on duty were walking by glaring at me (yes there are window with reflections, so I saw the stares as you walked by with repulsion). They went to appraise my car and without my consent took my off car the lot and aggressively pulled onto the road accelerating excessively. The following day Customer Solutions reached out, and I stated the mistreatment I received and no follow up was provided. The rep reached back out the next day as well with the news of another different colored vehicle that arrived that morning and provided me with a final offer, still not staying true to their original quote. Tired of being put through the ring around I passed on the offer and with continuing any future business with this company. At no time was it explained that the price was different then my original offer. At no time was if explained that the color effected the price. At no time was it expressed that the ORIGINAL offer that we were going off for numbers was no longer on the table. But they had the audacity to pull my credit and move forward? Was this because I am a young woman, being taken advantage of by a male dominated industry? Was this because they assumed I was naïve and would not pay attention when they brought back a higher number after running my credit with no notification or agreement of changing the price? It is appalling the disrespectfulness I endured as a customer there. SO to conclude this, they were manipulative and deceitful and I am overall put off with the whole experience. More

This is the second 2021 Elantra we have purchased from Eli Valdes at Key Hyundai. I wouldn't even consider working with anyone else. Eli is always professional, and always on top of the details. I have been looking for a used Hyundai Santa Fe Sport 2.0T. A 2016 showed up on the Key website a few weeks ago. I called about it and was told it was in service and someone would call back when it was 2.0T. A 2016 showed up on the Key website a few weeks ago. I called about it and was told it was in service and someone would call back when it was ready. I called back a few days later and got a new person and the same "it's in service" message. After two more days, I emailed Shelby Oyahan directly to ask about the car. She emailed back and said it would likely be out of service the next day and I could schedule a test drive for the following day. I did the test drive and liked the car. I asked to see the service history and was told I couldn't have a copy of it, but that Shelby could show it to me. She very quickly skimmed over it. I told her I was interested but that I needed to talk to my husband. She told me she would be out the next day but to email her and let her know. I emailed her the next morning (Thursday) to say we wanted our mechanic to look at the car. We had availability that day and the next to take it to our place. Shelby didn't get back to me until later in the day Friday to say we could take it to the mechanic but to hurry because it might sell. Our mechanic is closed on weekends and our schedules didn't allow us to get the car to the shop until the following Wednesday. We made an appointment with Shelby to take the car then. Yesterday (Tuesday) we called to confirm our appointment and the person on the phone who spoke to my husband said that the car had been sold. I emailed Shelby just to double check and she confirmed that the car had been sold and that "cars have been flying off the lot". I get that the car market is extremely competitive right now, and I never made an initial offer, but a courtesy phone call or email to let me know that I no longer needed to take the car to the mechanic would have been greatly appreciated. Key Hyundai is definitely NOT the dealer for the people. More

I came in may 6th and was helped by Steven Cerasoli. He was kind and friendly at first, spoke a lot about his family as I had mentioned I have twin toddler boys. I told him I was just there to look and see was kind and friendly at first, spoke a lot about his family as I had mentioned I have twin toddler boys. I told him I was just there to look and see what my options were. He took my information, credit etc . I initially wrote down that I could put 1,200 down and that I didn’t have a preference on a car. He then said he has something perfect for me and would like to show me the car. We then went outside and he showed me a 2016 Hyundai Tucson. Steven said he wouldn’t be able to accompany me for the test drive due to covid and I said that was fine. I took the car for a drive and noticed a jerk motion and several other small issues. When I got back he asked me how it was and I said the car is nice, I mentioned the jerk motion and he said it might’ve just been “sand” and that the car would get cleaned. We then sat down, he gave me a paper of the monthly payments etc. I said several times that I wanted to speak it over with my boyfriend and mother in law before I made a decision. He then asked if I would like to leave sort of a deposit of 500$ to hold the car. He said there were only 25 cars available and that there was no guarantee that if I left without leaving the 500$ that I would be able to have that car the next day or when ever I decided to come back. I said that that was fine, I would take my chances . I just came to look today and see what my options were and that I would like to speak it over with my boyfriend and mother in law. Steves whole demeanor and attitude changed. Steve then said ok before you go I’m going to make a copy of this paper ( the one with my quoted monthly payments). Which I thought was odd, so I see him walk over to the copy machine behind the desk. I could tell my his facial expressions he was pleased with me just leaving the dealership. I could also see him chatting with the general manager of key Hyundai David Goodrich. David Goodrich then walked back with Steve and sat down across from me and asked “what’s stopping you from leaving with the car today” I then again told David what I told Steve several times. I told him I’d like to think it over and talk to my boyfriend about it and my mother in law, I also said the down payment was high and like I had explained Steven I was a student, mom and worked part time. David then said let me crunch some number and see what I can do for you, i said sure. Steven then kept talking about how great the car is, it’s limited edition, Jill Miriam is the dealer for the people. It has a warranty for up to 100k miles, which I later found out is only 60k bumper to bumper. Dave then came back and said they could do it for 500$ down but that the monthly payments would still be around 500$. I felt extremely pressured and they just wouldn’t take no for an answer and at that point I should’ve just walked away. At any point before this I should’ve left. But pressure is a real thing at dealerships and this was the worse experience. I also asked Steven if they had the car in black because I will be making payments on the car and it will be my car and I’d like to at least have the color I wanted, he made an odd facial expression and said no. I said yes and agreed. Steve and I then signed paperwork etc. He offered to follow me home to drop off my car and I would ride with him back to Key Hyundai while they cleaned the car and got the paper work going. We also dealt and spoke about car insurance throughout this whole ordeal. I found it humorous that on the way back he was able to be in the same vehicle with me and without a mask (I wore mine) but initially for the test drive he was not able to accompany me. Steve drove one of the dealership cars when he followed me. So he was not able to feel the jerk movement the car was making. But assured me it would be inspected and clean before I left with it. Fast forward to Mother’s Day May 9th, 3 days later. I was very upset that I was pressured and that the car was still making the jerk motions I called the dealership several times. I called asking for Steve Cerasoli and left him a voicemail. I stated I was not happy with the Hyundai Tucson and would like to know what my options were. I also called to speak with the general manager Dave Goodrich and I got no response. I also tried calling Alyssa from Key Hyundai that day, I was desperate to get ahold of anyone. Alyssa was someone who reached out to me to make me an appointment to come in. Alyssa wasn’t available at the moment . I then gave up. I tried reaching out to Steve again via email on the 11th and got no reply. And again on the 18th. On the 18th of May I called several times and sent an email. At one point on May 11th Steve answered And left me on hold for two minutes and then hung up. He finally reached back to me on May 18th saying he’s been busy, did not mention my voicemail or concerns about wanting to know my options. At that point I gave up again and just asked about the process of making payments. I recently reached out to Steve about having the car looked at because of the jerk feeling and he text back. I will attach that also, on here if I can and on Yelp. I also had an incident a few days after I got the car, a rock hit my windshield and I reached out to my insurance. On May 13th Maria Saldana the insurance person wanted to reach out to Steve at Key Hyundai to confirm the date of purchase on the vehicle. Maria who was very kind reached out to them while I was still on the line and quoted them as “being silly” and “not knowing how to spell my name or who I was”. I am going next week to see what is wrong with the car, nothing should be wrong with it all all. I will never go to a Key Hyundai or recommend this place to anyone. They’re very pushy and unprofessional. I also worked with Johnathon Mirow the finance manager at Key Hyundai of Manchester, John was pleasant and straight forward about everything I was signing. I am interested to see what is wrong with the car when I go in next week, it is suppose to have bumper to bumper warranty etc etc all the great things Steven claimed about the car. Do your research before you go anywhere, I was not educated or prepared when I walked into this dealership and essentially walked out with a car I did not want. I don’t know how someone could go home to their wife and child knowing they sold someone a car that might have transmission issue with two toddler boys. Steven was extremely difficult to get ahold of after the deal, I would think the General manager would want to reach out to a customer whose having issues getting a hold of one of his sales people and who wants to know their options with the car as I tried reaching out to David as well. If I’ve referred to them as Dave or Steve in this review it is because that is the name they Used. More
