Wonderful people! Walked into Key Hyundai prepared to "look around" and within two days I had the car I had only hoped to purchase. Even with bad credit, Randolfo and B Walked into Key Hyundai prepared to "look around" and within two days I had the car I had only hoped to purchase. Even with bad credit, Randolfo and Bill were able to secure financing and even took over the hassles of dealing with the DMV. It was a very low pressure atmosphere that was filled with "real" people rather than salesmen. I would absolutely recommend the team of people that helped me to anyone and everyone. When I mentioned I wanted to look at the 2014 Sante Fe Sport I was introduced to Don Jones. Don was a no pressure salesman who let me and my daughter ask a million questions even though I made it clear that I had no intention of buying that day or anytime soon. I made contact with Don several times that week and every time he answered my questions and yet did not pester me at all. When I told him that I wanted to shop around he didn't discourage me and actually said that it was the right thing to do. When I woke up Saturday morning I decided that I needed to buy that car and texted Don. He called me right back and told me to enjoy my morning and that he would be there if I decided to come in. When I arrived my transaction was handled quickly and my vehicle was ready for me to go. I choose to purchase from Key Hyundai because I never had a problem with my Elantra and believe that I won't have a problem with my Santa Fe. This dealership has great staff from service to sales and I give them 5 stars! Thank you so much Krystal and Don - you made my experience a truly great one! If you are reading this review and are looking for a new car you wont go wrong with Key Hyundai. Be sure to ask for Don Jones. More
Dont threaten your customers I decided to write this review after my horrible experience with key Hyundai in Manchester ct. In a nutshell, I was harassed by the sales manager Mau I decided to write this review after my horrible experience with key Hyundai in Manchester ct. In a nutshell, I was harassed by the sales manager Maurice, then by Jeff Merriam, threatening to call the police on a paid customer, due to the fact he does not know how to watch or maintain the businesses finances. *Longer version* What happened is I traded a car in with aftermarket parts, but the dealer FAILED, to even start the car during the appraisal process, so they did not know the parts were on the car.( I was ok leaving the parts on the car.) About a week after I took home my new car, the dealer called me asking for the factory parts to put back on the car. I agreed to give back the factory parts, as long as my aftermarket parts would be returned to me. I had them sign and date a statement to this effect, since they wouldn't remove my parts before I bring the factory ones. I returned the factory parts to them on 4/12/14, and was told they would deliver the parts to me. On 4/23, the parts were "finally removed" according to the sales rep and they'd schedule a time to return them to me. That was the last time I heard from them in 2 weeks, even though trying to contact them several times. So I priced up all the equipment and called my CC company to charge back (the down payment) the amount they owed me. Chargeback was approved, for the full deposit (that's apparently how chargebacks work) then finally on 5/8/14 over 2 weeks of no communication, the parts were delivered back to me, albeit missing pieces critical to function (which is another battle I have with them). Around 6/12/14 Maurice calls me asking about the chargeback, I explained why it happened and told him, according to the letter from the CC company, all he has to do is contact them with supporting evidence that my parts were returned. He called me later and said I had to call the cc company. Originally the cc company told me the ball is their court and they need to call back with supporting documentation. I told this to Maurice and he tried again, only to call me back again saying I had to take care of it. I told him I will call and if you don't hear from me, its all set. So I called the cc company on 6/16/14 and they said this time they can reverse it, so they got their full deposit back and I thought everything was taken care of. That is until Jeff Merriam called me on 6/17/14, then on 6/19/14. He pretty much stated that even though it would be nice not to pay them the deposit, (which was originally paid back in march, apparently Maurice didn't communicate this to the owner!) but he would call the police on me for theft! Now this call was made 4 days AFTER the money was back in their account from the CC company. It appears that Maurice FAILED to tell the owner, Jeff the entire story of what happened and from that point they acted unprofessional. I feel as a customer, I was treated like dirt, harassed, and talked down upon over their miss-steps as a company and business owner. You DO NOT threaten a paying customer in the manner that they did. If I could, I would return the car and buy it elsewhere, too bad in the auto industry that is not possible. Would I "refer a friend", nope! I wouldn't even refer my worst enemy to this place! Hopefully I save someone the hassle of dealing with this place. More
Great Experience Drenched in Awesome Sauce I heard the commercial on 93.7 that Jill can get ANYONE a loan. That's what drove me to Key. My GPS gave me horrible directions, so I had to call in and get directions from the receptionist. That was KAREN! She was dynamic. She actually stayed on the phone w/ me giving me step by step directions from the next town over. Had she not, I would've wasted so much time and gotten so frustrated that I probably would've just said, "Forget it!" When I got there, I was greeted by BILL! Talk about patience, knowledge and friendliness. Most salesmen are pushy and lack qualities that drive people towards them. Bill sold me on honesty. He gave me options. He answered all of my questions, and anything he didn't know, he went above and beyond to find the answers. I appreciated him actually looking into everything vs. just giving me anything that came to the top of his mind. Bill was exceptional! RANDOLFO was who I came in contact w/ next. He made me feel comfortable in the decision making process. One thing I liked was that he was straight forward w/ numbers. I don't know too much about car buying, but after that night, I went home feeling like I just took a 2 year course. I was happy to go home to tell my wife about what I'd learned. She had questions and I was able to answer ALL of them. I didn't buy the car that night. Randolfo worked w/ me and let me go home to sleep on the decision. I woke up that morning feeling like, "Let's do this!!!" The next day, DEBBIE answered the lines. She was so bubbly. It made me feel like, "Today's going to be a great day." She took down my info and assured me that Bill would be able to assist me at 4:30. I went straight to the receptionist desk to check in at 4:29. She greeted me and called Bill over. Bill gave me a handshake and it was like reuniting w/ an old friend. I felt very sure. MIKE was the man to close the deal. Mike is very down to earth and professional at the same time. You don't find that too often. He put those numbers in and worked w/ the banks and I was prepared to drive away in my new Expedition. Mike made it easier for me to swallow such a big step. He made me feel really good about myself and the big step I had made. All of the three gentlemen that I worked w/ told me that KRYSTLE had previously owned the truck. They said she was super nice. I emailed her days later to ask her specific questions. Instead of emailing me back, she went the extra mile and called me. I got to talk to her the same day I emailed her. Krystle put the cherry on top of my first time, car buying experience. There are so many things that I didn't know about the car that I now know just w/ the 10 minute convo we had. Now, I REALLY feel like I got my money's worth. She even offered that I can come in and she'll show me some other features and answer any questions I might have. I felt like a winner hanging up that day. Overall, I can honestly say, this team worked together. I am so glad that I didn't choose anywhere else. My car is so clean and it rides so nice. Even the detail shop even did some extra shining the day I bought the car. Key Hyundai of Manchester gets my vote! Signing off... - Happy Customer More
