I love their no nonsense pricing. I don't have to go back and forth with someone about the price...they give the best price out front! It's genius! I'm definitely buying my next car here. They make it easy! More
dishonesty at Port City reigns supreme recently bought a $ 51000 dollar truck- while it was being prepped for pick up, thieves broke into the dealer and stoles all four tires. My wife dist recently bought a $ 51000 dollar truck- while it was being prepped for pick up, thieves broke into the dealer and stoles all four tires. My wife distinctly asked the SALES MANAGER " was it broken into ? " His response " Oh No, that was the BEAUTY of it- they just jacked it up and stole the tires" well a month after I had the truck , my son started finding glass in the air conditioning vents. THE THEIVES HAD INDEED SMASHED THE PASSENGER WINDOW AND HAD FOUND THE TIRE LOCK " I was very ANGRY and called PORT CITY and strongly suggested because of their dishonesty I should be given an extended warranty. THEY REFUSED. THEY ARE LIARS AND HAVE NO INTEGRITY. I was accused of LOOKING FOR SOMETHING FOR NOTHING! stay away from this place go to POULIN OR MARIANO. AND oh yes, PORT CITY cashed my 5k down payment in record time!! right after they spoke to my wife. More
Very easy purchase, great price, fair trade, no BS fees I had been searching for a minivan for a while, my previous vehicle was becoming too small. I had been looking for months, and checked from time to time with various dealerships... I was not enticed enough to buy with the deals that were offered to me. I happened to shop Port City on their website, and the prices for minivans were excellent.... of course I expected to be deluged with extra charges once I contacted them. When I called and spoke to a salesperson, I was totally surprised to find out the only extra fee was only a $25 NH State Title fee, and nothing else! Some dealers charge an extra 4-5 hundred dollars for "fees", it is nothing but a trick to advertise lower prices on web searches, then to just recoup the difference with "Administrative fees", and it's nothing but BS. Not only did Port City not charge these fees, they also had the lowest prices listed that I came across in my shopping, so they very much had a very good deal. and BTW, they had plenty of vehicles in stock at those advertised prices. I also praise them for the excellent trade they gave me on my, they were an easy 20% above any other dealer I had dealt with over my 3-4 month. No pressure sales experience, I am certainly happy with my buying experience at Port City Chrysler Dodge. The Business manager I thought was a little too overbearing with trying to sell an extended warranty, I listened to the spiel, but had told him up front I didn't want the warranty... could have saved a lot of time with him if he had just believed I didn't want the extended warranty - but I guess that's what they get paid for (and with) More
Dishonesty is the policy at Port City Chrysler Dodge I brought my Jeep in for a safety inspection. Service said a front strut was leaking and needed replacement. Smelling a scam, I said no thanks. Went h I brought my Jeep in for a safety inspection. Service said a front strut was leaking and needed replacement. Smelling a scam, I said no thanks. Went home to check the struts myself and did not find evidence of a leak. Took my car to another shop and passed inspection as expected. More
Tried to buy a car but got a run around Called to buy a car and sent a email. Was passed over and over to different people. I said I would just put a deposit and buy it I sent pictures to Called to buy a car and sent a email. Was passed over and over to different people. I said I would just put a deposit and buy it I sent pictures to see what they would give trade in. If not enough I would of sold car on my own. I was trying to work the purchase and then they said someone came in and bought the car. Then all of a sudden the car was sold. I had a sales person call after I called and told Mr. Brady what had happened. Person that called me was argumentative and forceful with me. He was very overbearing and confrontational. Very unprofessional. I spoke with My Brady and received and "I am sorry". I was not even haggling the price and was willing and wanting to pay the total amount they were asking. I would of traded a car in below wholesale or not traded it in. I was willing just to be a lay down sale and I feel as though they just were trying to back out of listed posted price of a car. Shame, Shame They should be better people. More
nothing but positive experience I have purchased two vehicles from this dealership hassle free each time. Salesman was friendly and didn't play the usual games other dealerships play I have purchased two vehicles from this dealership hassle free each time. Salesman was friendly and didn't play the usual games other dealerships play. No pressure to buy from the salesman, they will help you get the car you want and will work with you. I didn't feel nickeled and dimed. I knew the value of the vehicle I was looking at and got a great deal on my trade in. I left a happy camper with the car I wanted. Just like the first time I purchased from them. I will definitely do business with them again. I can only speak from the sales side of the dealership. A+ More
Beware of major repair work. I have been going to this service department since I purchased the vehicle. Never had this much work done . Just your standard things, oil changes I have been going to this service department since I purchased the vehicle. Never had this much work done . Just your standard things, oil changes and brakes. My vehicle needed to have the heater doors replaced. Not an expensive part, but lots of labor hours. The whole dashboard needed to be replaced. I was worried about this. As once something is removed and placed back together it 's never like it was. My vehicle has 75000 miles. Perfect condition with proper maintenance . At the dealer's parking lot, all looked great. paid and off I was. As I was driving something was not okay. The steering wheel was wobbling left and right as if it was loose. Returned the vehicle. The Service Consultant. test drove it . Pulled it in to the garage and came back in saying that when they removed the dash board they did not remove the steering wheel. I explained that there was nothing wrong with the steering wheel when it was brought in. The technician tightened a part on the steering wheel . I was concerned what could of happened with the removal of the dash board. No one was saying much on this. I was told that the removal of the dash board might of aggravated the steering wheel a bit. They said if it happens again to come in and have a part replaced. I asked if I would have to pay for it and they said yes. I was also told the my vehicle has 75000 miles and things like this happen. So if I break something someone else will pay for it. I would of not been happy but would of liked if they had told me " by the way we might of aggravated the steering wheel a bit let us know if any problem appears. But no. Instead they said the vehicle has 75,000 miles what do I expect. Did not leave happy with them. More
I purchased a used 2010 Nissan Pathfinder from Port CIty Chrysler on 8/9. I did get a fair price on the Pathfinder, but the follow up and delivery was poor. After I signed the neccessary paper work and left Chrysler on 8/9. I did get a fair price on the Pathfinder, but the follow up and delivery was poor. After I signed the neccessary paper work and left with the car, I noticed that the car wasn't even detailed or filled with gas. I even made the comment to the sales person who completed the paperwork that since it was raining out side would they detail the car. He didn't even respond. I had to stop to get gas on the way home, while doing so I noticed that the gas cap cover would not close. No big deal, but I would think that a dealership would go over the vehicle before I took possession of it.There was also a cup holder that was missing from the rear center console. I asked the salesperson if they could order one for me. His response was no since I got such a great deal for the car. Right then I should known what to expect and not have done the deal.I called PCC and told them about the cas cap cover. i was told to bring the car in. Service had lubricated the gas cap door and said I was good to go. They also recleaned the car which probably was a just a vacuum. After I left , I can see the gas cap cover open again. I stopped by Port City Nissan , where they replaced some springs and corrected the problem at a charge of $52. Once I got home, my wife had commented how dirty the rugs were in the car. I just think when buying a car either new or used it should be spotless without and mechanical issues. There are some other issues regarding the ideling that I have noticed. I wish they took as much time on my paperwork as they did on the condition of the Pathfinder. More
I had been searching for a new mini van until I came across their website. I was very impressed, they had the best price out of all the other places I had looked (I had been searching for a while). The across their website. I was very impressed, they had the best price out of all the other places I had looked (I had been searching for a while). The salesman are very helpful, no bull ****, they asked the right questions and guided me through the whole process. They were able to find me the exact vehicle we wanted. After the salesman presented the vehicle and told us about the warranty I was already sold. My wife fell in love on the test drive. I had a set price, payment and number for my trade, they beat it. I asked how much they were going to screw me on fees, they had none. It was a great deal and my wife is happy so I'm happy. Not to mention they gave us 20 free oil changes and a full tank of gas! Advertised price on the vehicle I was interested in was very reasonable. The sales person was freindly enough. Trade-in offer was terrible. If you are buying without a trade, you might get a good deal. very reasonable. The sales person was freindly enough. Trade-in offer was terrible. If you are buying without a trade, you might get a good deal. They obviously make up the price of their vehicles by low-balling the trade in offer. More
