The salesman was rude and never aloud me to make a offer or call me to let me know how it was going with my bad credit. Please, always tell people were they stand. I had the loan approved with my bank alr or call me to let me know how it was going with my bad credit. Please, always tell people were they stand. I had the loan approved with my bank already, but he cared not to find out what we could accomplish with Just a phone call. This man needs to find a new job because he is terrible with new customers. I was going to see what else i could buy with my loan but not now.... I am going else where. I will also email everyone i know not to go to kerry. Mr. Collins More
This has been the worst experience with a dealer I have ever had and I have had some bad ones. First I found out that I was charged approximately 4 thousand dollars more than the car was worth (Blue book ever had and I have had some bad ones. First I found out that I was charged approximately 4 thousand dollars more than the car was worth (Blue book value) and that is probably being generous and the whole time this guy kept telling me that he was batteling for me on price. Then I went in to have the car safety checked and they replaced my front break pads and rotors 1 week later my breaks started making noise so I went back to get them checked and they told me that unfortunately they were at the mercy of the parts manufacturers for after market parts and that they were just bad break pads. They did not replace the BAD BREAK PADS they sanded them down and sent me on my way, of course this did nothing and I ended up having to replace the pads again (at a different place) at more expense. Mind you this was 1 month after I bought this car, now I spent over 18,000 $ on this car. I will never buy a car at a KERRY dealership and with 7 brothers and sisters who have lived in this area our whole lives seems like replacing the pads whould have been a small price to pay to stop bad word of mouth, 3 of my sisters and my brother all have bought several cars from Kerry dealerships in the past, but they will not in the future I have seen to that!!!!!!!!!!!! Went to the dealer on Saturday, April 6. l leased a 2013 Sonata and signed all the paperwork. Everything was a done deal (or so I thought). I brought the car back on Tuesday, April 9 because part of the dea Sonata and signed all the paperwork. Everything was a done deal (or so I thought). I brought the car back on Tuesday, April 9 because part of the deal was they would have a sunroof put in and the remote starter put on the car. They were to have a loaner car ready for me which they did not have ready. The one salesman ran around looking for one for me. He found one. It was a 2012 Elantra with 41,000 miles on it. Before I got in the car. the salesman said "don't worry about replenishing the gas that I use becaus it was low on gas. THAT WAS AN UNDERSTATMENT (I guess he meant replenish the fumes). When I got in the car, the gas light was on and I had 30 miles to go before I would be out of gas. I had to stop and get gas so that I could make it home. On Monday, April 15, I get a call from Sales Manager, Ryan Johnson, saying that I needed to come in and talk to them about the lease deal. I went Tuesday evening after work and was told that the lease deal didn't go through but I could buy the car. He didn't know why the lease deal didn't go through nor did he care. I told him all the paperwork was signed and it was a done deal. He said the bank didn't approve it so it's not a done deal. So signing paperwork means absolutely nothing. So I asked him about my car that I traded in (it was a 2011 Elantra with 12,000 miles on it). "What if someone would have bought my car?" His response and I quote, "we would have to go to the person and get it back." So I said you would have 2 lawsuits on your hands instead of one. I asked that the general manager. Lane Taylor, give me a call the next morning (he comes in at 10:00) and get this thing straightened out. Well needles to say the General Manager never called me. I called him and thanked me for not calling. He said he didn't know he had to call me (which was a lie because he had no intention of calling me). He was extremely rude, arrogant and started mocking me. They also lost paperwork I gave them regarding a lawsuit that Hyndai lost regarding the mileage of the vehicles and the customers had up to a year to get reimbursed for the difference in the mileage. They threw the paperwork away. I told him that my attorney will be getting in contact with him and he said and I quote, "you have your attorney get in touch with our attorney and they can do lunch." Like I said, he was EXTREMELY RUDE AND ARROGANT. When I got my car back from them they said the car was not taken out but my car had an additionaI 139 miles put on it and when I traded it in, it had almost a full tank of gas. When I got it back it was 3 notches from being empty. So I told them they can fill up the tank which they did. But what amazes me is that the car never left the lot. Amazing. I will make sure that people will never have anything to do with a Kerry dealer again. I have never had an experience like that before in my life and I hope to never experience it again. More
They do nothing but promise the world and then when it comes down to their time to hold up there end... they are nowhere to be found! Amazing that they are all about calling you when they want you to buy comes down to their time to hold up there end... they are nowhere to be found! We agreed on a price with a salesmen for a Sienna when we went to pick up the car and pay for it they jacked the price up $1000. We were paying cash so it was not a loan issue. Only put No to recommending this dealership because of the Finance Manager. I'm happy with the car and the deal I got but closing in the finance office was another story. BEWARE!!!! When closing th the Finance Manager. I'm happy with the car and the deal I got but closing in the finance office was another story. BEWARE!!!! When closing the deal in the Finance Office. OK, I know you're suppose to read the fine print and the entire page they throw in your face to be signed but let's be honest, how many of us do that? We sit down, all excited about getting a brand new car and the good deal we got and you get home, after the excitement has ended and sit down with papers in hand and a cup of coffee, you look over your paperwork. What's this, $700 for Gap Insurance, $1979 for an extended warranty that NO ONE asked you if you wanted. I drove to the dealership the next day and talked to the sales manager and he assured me, no problem, we can take that off, just see Bill in Finance and he'll take care of it. OK, I'm happy until Bill tells me, "OH, you got that low interest rate by adding the coverage, if I take it off, the interest rate will go up 2 points." Payment will be the same if not more. OK, then I guess I have no choice but to keep it. Back to the computer and google (google is man's best friend, to find out anything and everything you ever wanted to know) Seems I'm not alone is this shady practice and the thing about the interest rate is BS..... Right there on the paper it says, this contract has nothing to do with you getting financed with our company. After reading more on the contract, I see that I can cancel this for a full refund within a certain number of days if not used. I plan on doing just that and they can send the check to the bank and have it applied to my loan and keep my payment the same, that's fine, I just don't want the warranty and the way it was sold to me was tricky and unprofessional. The Gap Insurance is going to be cancelled as well..... More
My first contact was with Tim Bonta. Through emails and phone conversations he gave me what I thought was a fair price. After reading so many horror stories on the internet about car buying in general, I phone conversations he gave me what I thought was a fair price. After reading so many horror stories on the internet about car buying in general, I was very wary about trusting any car dealer to live up to what they had said or even written. Tim and Larry Moyer went above and beyond in what they did to re-assure me that what I was quoted would actually be what I got after a 2 1/2 hr drive to their dealership. When I got there, Mike Daugherty took care of all of the paperwork and made the stressful task of car buying something that was actually enjoyable! They were very patient with me as I questioned several of the standard documents (sorry for the paranoia!) and were all true to their word. More
False advertising. Was promised a $500. gas voucher, which I never received. When I called to complain I was rudely talked to by Mr. Dicastro and told they would give me $14 instead because that is wha which I never received. When I called to complain I was rudely talked to by Mr. Dicastro and told they would give me $14 instead because that is what they paid to get the voucher. It's okay to offer something to get you into the dealership and then not follow through on their promises. Truly false advertising and poor customer service. Do not go to this dealership... More
