On 1/7/22, the engine monitor light illuminated on our 2017 Sonata(5NPE34AF0HH498089). With the loss of power that accompanied this, my wife felt fortunate to get the automobile to a mechanic that we are 2017 Sonata(5NPE34AF0HH498089). With the loss of power that accompanied this, my wife felt fortunate to get the automobile to a mechanic that we are familiar with. They diagnosed a P132600 code. My wife called Kerry and set an appointment for 2/15/22(the earliest available). Needing the car for transport to and from work and not being able to afford a rental for 5 weeks, the decision was made to have the code cleared. It was our understanding that to have the matter properly repaired would cost a few to several hundred dollars. It was our understanding that without this work, the problem would recur sooner or later. We chose to limit the usage as best we could and hope to make it to the 2/15 appointment and have the work done under warranty(expires late March 2022). In hopes of possibly getting an earlier service date, we showed our diagnostic report to Martin on 1/22/22. We would later learn from Jeff that there was never any hope of getting an earlier service date. Midday on 2/15, Jeff informed us that he could find no problem with the automobile and offered to keep driving it for a few days in case the problem recurred. Not having the resources to do without the usage of the automobile, we reclaimed it that evening. Our concern remains that someday we will be out a bare minimum of a few hundred dollars(perhaps much more) to allow this repair that could have been effectively done on 2/15. More
