This is the absolute worst place to buy a car. I bought a car thought it had a full tank of gas. Drove the car home and it didn't make it ran out of gas. The gas gauge was broke. Next day drove car check engine light came on for various different codes. Went in to the dealership told them there is something wrong with this car. Manager said let us take the car look at it see whats up with it. I asked if he would take care back said he would see after mechanic looked at it. Gave me a loaner car. I had to call them 2 days later to see what was up with the car. They didn't even know what I was talking about service had to take my name and number. Service called back said we fixed gas gauge and check engine lights are off. Talked to the manager again he said we fixed gas gauge. Nothing else we can do. My wife picked up the car for me. When she got there they had no clue what car to give her. Got car check engine light was off and they left me no gas in the tank. Got car and the other day driving it down the street it just dies. Engine electric everything shuts down. Almost got into a wreck. Left an email about the incident. Receptionist from the dealership called said she would have a manager call me. Been 2 days nothing. I traded my truck in for this xxx car. The deal was straight no money changed hands. They sell everything as is. Instead of them doing something to make this good they choose to be unethical. I traded in a truck of good quality and they sell junk. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS PLACE!!!!! If they value a good reputation in the market place they would have done something to try and make this right. This isn't some small joe blow dealership. More

This buying experience was terrible for me. I purchased a 2009 BMW and Don in finance talked me into purchasing an extended warranty. He did not tell me the cost of the warranty and due to my inexperience a 2009 BMW and Don in finance talked me into purchasing an extended warranty. He did not tell me the cost of the warranty and due to my inexperience in buying cars, I didn't ask. He just showed me the difference it would make in payments. After purchasing the car, I realized that the warranty costed me 2,300! He said it was for 24 months or 75,000 miles. I assumed (incorrectly) that it was 75,000 miles from the date of purchase as most would. I immediately had trouble out of the radio so I called and talked to Don and he told me that the warranty was only good until the car had 75,000 total miles on it. It already had almost 50,000 miles on it so basically, I paid 2,300 for a warranty for 25,000 miles which I would never have done if I had known that it only covered the car until the odometer reached 75,000 miles. Also, he sold me what was called the "preferred" warranty. I contacted the warranty company because my radio was not working properly and they told me that the radio was not covered under this warranty. Don made it sound like that most everything was covered by this warranty when he sold it to me. I found out from the warranty company that I could have purchased a "comprehensive" warranty which would have covered the radio. Don never even offered me this warranty. I am very displeased with my experience at Kernersville Dodge and would not recommend this dealership to anyone. I am planning on contacting them next week to ask for a refund for the warranty but I'm sure that they will not give it to me. Once the paperwork is signed, it's pretty much a done deal. My advice is to stay away from this place. One more thing, I told them that I would only purchase the car if they put new tires on it because the ones that were on it were almost bald. They put new tires on it but added the cost into the purchase price of the car. There is no way the tires on it would have passed Virginia inspection which is the state that I live in. I'm almost positive that they put the wrong size tires on the car because the speedometer is off by about 10 mph. I'm taking it to the BMW dealership next week and I'm going to find out for sure. If they put the wrong size tires on it, I am going to ask them to replace the tires with the factory recommended size tires as they should have done to start with. I find it hard to believe that a four year old car is already having problems with the speedometer (which I'm sure is not covered by the warranty either) so I'm fairly sure that they put the wrong size tires on it. Came to look at a car we saw online. Arrived at the dealership, parked in customer parking, and while we were exiting our car, our sales person was already greeting us. We started talking about what ca dealership, parked in customer parking, and while we were exiting our car, our sales person was already greeting us. We started talking about what car we were interested in, we came inside the dealership and sat down at the desk. Our salesperson went to get the vehicle while we waited. We were sitting their for about 20-25 minutes and almost left because it was taking so long. Turns out the car was in the detailing line and was in the car wash. After Thomas explained, we were ok with it. We were allowed to test drive the car, without the salesperson, which I prefer when taking a test drive. We took the car out and drove it, and we liked the car and decided on the purchase. We already had financing in place, which really cut down on paperwork and time. After we agreed to everything we were told they were going to put gas in it ( 3/4 tank, not a fill up ) and detail and we would have a wait. We waited about an hour before we saw the finance guy, which was way too long of a wait, but it was a Saturday and they were busy. In and out in 20 mins of the finance office, then we had to wait about another 20 mins to take delivery. Car could have been detailed better, didn't look like the inside had even been touched. Thomas was a very friendly and great salesperson. This dealership needs more employees and desks and shorter wait times. Other than the wait times, our overall experience was very good. More

Mr. Hughes was a pleasure to work with. He was so energized and siked about his job we could really tell he enjoys his work. Our overall experience was very good, but We feel it could have been even better as far as customer service goes. Our Salesman- Leon Hughes was wonderful! very friendly and helpful. He took the time to talk football with our 12yr son while we waited to get in the finance office to sign our papers. -it took almost two hours waiting on the finance manager to see us. -The vehicle wasn't cleaned/detailed when we arrived on the lot. -when we went to test drive it, Leon had to go fill it up with gas because it was literally empty. I hate to be this picky, but since the deal was already consumated-with the agreed upon price, Melinda Patino knew the exact day and time we were arriving from TN (3 hr ride), and a check in hand--we thought the customer service should have been a little better and faster. I understand it's a big dealership and they are very busy, but that's no excuse. I do want to thank Leon for being such a big help in going over the Jeep's top with us and showing us how it worked. I was not too serious when I went to the dealership even though I knew I wanted to buy a Jeep. Leon spotted me in a sea of busy people and offered his assistance to me.
