Happy...But Not Excited Samantha took my internet request and did her best to find the car I wanted to buy. She was very pleasant, courteous and generally knew a lot about the CX-5 I purchased. I settled on a black vehicle even though I wanted the dark gray vehicle. The dark gray vehicle wasn't available in a 250 mile radius so I settled on the black Grand Touring CX-5. I thought it was a fair deal and the days of me haggling over a few hundred dollars to save a buck are over...just too old for that and my time is more important. The price haggling went away about the same time I realized that all car dealers are about the same and are in it to make a dollar. Why not, they wouldn't be there otherwise. And, also about the same time I was done giving stupendous reviews just because the dealership told me that is how they got good incentives from corporate. All in all I was happy, but not happy enough "to give all 5 stars" as most dealerships ask you to do, and in fairness to Samantha and Kenny Ross neither asked me to do so. I am thankful for that. Samantha was knowledgeable when she went over the general operation and features of the car but lacked knowing some details. She told me the the averages on the car (fuel consumption, mph, etc.) could not be reset at each fuel fill up. When I got the new car home I read the manual and to Mazda's credit it was easy to find in the owner's manual. I knew it could be done, it was a worthless feature if you couldn't reset the values. About the same time I realized the mudflaps I asked for (worked into my deal) were not on the vehicle and that Mazda does not figure the rear cargo area weather mat into the price of the all-weather mats that I paid for and were listed on the sticker. Go figure. I got them with my CRV in 2011, but I guess Mazda figures it differently. They wanted an additional $75 for the cargo area mat and wouldn't reduce the price. I guess I will have to buy an after-market product online. Today I went back to get the mudflaps installed, not a huge deal. I will say that when I went to get the mudflaps installed I felt like I went back about 30 years in time...what an antiquated and dungeony service department. Aunt Penny must have built it...;) As far as Mazda goes I wasn't surprised when I couldn't get certain options without purchasing options I didn't need and vice versa. Like all Japanese car manufacturer's this is a way they can reduce production costs. I understand it to a point but it is a confusing and time consuming process when shopping for the vehicle. In my case I didn't want the new trendy 19" wheels because I knew they would be expensive to replace and quite frankly I don't like the new look, but I did want a climate control cooling/heating system. Guess what, not possible. I bit the bullet and bought the big tires and I was able to determine afterwards that decision will cost me about an additional $160 a year in tire costs (19" tires about $180/tire, 17" tires about $135-140/tire). My teenage son loves them. I'm just too old. To summarize it a few words. Happy, friendly, like all the rest. More

We shopped at several dealers looking to get what we felt was a fair deal for a CX5 equipped the way we wanted it. We were able to find the vehicle we liked at Kenny Ross. We felt the trade-in and out-the-door price was fair and in line with what we had researched on our own. Our salesperson was exceptional. He was very patient with us, as we are very thorough in a our buying process. We wanted to make sure everything was just right, and we understood everything about the vehicle and the deal we were getting. He even came in early just to accommodate our schedule after we had made our decision. After we purchased the vehicle, it was not quite ready for delivery, and they even bought us lunch! All in all a great experience, i would highly recommend Kenny Ross Mazda as a dealer. More

Rudy was very professional and answered all questions we had. When we first came prior to making a decision Rudy's Manager Dave Maraney gave us a complimentary First Aid Kit, which was a small incentive, however definitely made a good impression. The show room at Kenny Ross was gorgeous. They offered us snacks and drinks in a very comfortable atmosphere when we had to wait to close the deal. I will recommend Kenny Ross and Rudy if I have any family or friends wanting to make a purchase. More
