Don’t buy from Kenny Ross! Purchased a 2017 Suburban. First thing I wasn’t happy about was that they add an interior and exterior protectant and a security tracking device that cost almost 2k total. You do not have an option not to purchase this nonsense and it’s not in the advertised price. Don’t know how they can apply an interior protectant without first cleaning the interior. I found old french fries and legos and there was sticky stuff in the bottom of the cup holders. I’m sure I removed a lot of the exterior protectant (if it was ever really applied) when I buffed out the scuffs and scratches in the paint. As far as the security device that I was told no thief would ever find, it fell from under the dash between my foot and the brake pedal when I was driving home. Next problem: even though they claim to do a 139 point inspection, I found the coolant reservoir to be empty, so I checked the other fluid levels. The front differential was also empty because of a leaking seal. Since I had a “Certified Blue” warranty which the salesman said I could bring the vehicle back if I had any problems, I called the service department to schedule an appointment. I was told to take it to a Chevy dealer. Are you kidding me? After having to take it to my local repair shop to get fixed, I never did get reimbursed the entire repair cost. Also after the vehicle is driven for a while the transmission makes noise and the brakes pulsate bad. I couldn’t detect this on a test drive since I was sent out with an empty tank of gas. I’m sure this was by design. Also don’t believe their claim that you will receive 1k over KBB value for your trade. I was given almost 2k less than the lowest KBB value for my trade. This is without a doubt the worst car buying experience I’ve ever had. More

The Finance side is shady AF, they 'lowered' the price on a used car I wanted to buy to entice me to purchase, then tacked on $399 for 'USWC Traceable Theft Protection', another $399 for 'Caltex Appearance Protection', and finally $600 for 'Kahu GPS' all without asking me about this, all without my permission, they just tacked that onto the deal. No way was I buying a car where the dealer could track my location, auto statistics, & disable the automobile should they see fit. This is the crap buy here pay here dealers do to keep track of their assets. Stay away from this dealer, they are dishonest, not upfront about the finance side of things, and to make matters worse they ran my credit 7 times which lowered my score by 23 points. Stay away!!! More

Bought a brand new 2017 fusion from Dennis, purchased a paint, rust and fabric warranty thru the dealer (which no one should buy d your vehicle here. Bought a brand new 2017 fusion from Dennis, purchased a paint, rust and fabric warranty thru the dealer (which no one should buy dealer warranties), and when it came to claim anything or do any work because there was damage to the fabrics there was rust on the undercarriage and there was paint chipping they made sure to use every single excuse that there is how I do not qualify for it even though I have a written contract on what is covered and how it is covered. Very snappy customer service at the collision center that don't even let you speak or say anything unless they finish their sentence first which again is just denial of your claims. After wasting a day taking my car inference inspection I was called in and told that I have to go to the salesperson that sold me the vehicle and used the claim on with that person who doesn't even work at the store anymore and my claim and warranty is with Kenny Ross for itself so why do I have to go to the salesperson who sold it to me if he's representing the dealer. Very unpleasant after purchase support and I wish I never purchased a vehicle here. Basically sell you a car take the commission and then kick you in your bumm. Well time to cancel the bronco deposits, and find somewhere else to get them. More

I called and emailed a bunch of ford dealers in the area and either got no response or not willing to negotiate at all. I contacted the BDC dept at Kenny Ross Ford South and they were very helpful. They did a needs analysis and got me connected with the perfect sales rep to fit our needs. John was amazing! So helpful and he responded very quickly and always provided me with the info that I needed. We came to agreement on numbers and a vehicle and she went and signed papers that evening and drove home in her new Escape . They made car buying so simple and stress free for her and a great experience. I would highly recommend John as your salesperson and Kenny Ross Ford South as your dealership for all your needs. More
My wife and I took a second look at a car on a Saturday and made an offer on it that wasn't accepted. The salesman told us that if we didn't buy the car today that on Monday it was being sold to someone in and made an offer on it that wasn't accepted. The salesman told us that if we didn't buy the car today that on Monday it was being sold to someone in Montana. I knew that was a bunch of xx and that he was lying. 6 days later I look on their website and the car is dropped in price $250. That was at least the second time the salesman lied to us. He was very unprofessional and didn't like us I believe because he knew we were going to pay cash although we didn't tell him. He shouted across the showroom floor at us and asked us if we were going to finance the vehicle. How rude! Why is it that you're treated like a second class citizen when you're smart enough to not borrow money? We looked at two cars total from this dealership and they both had something wrong with them. The car we made the offer on had a loose or broken motor mount and the car only had 20,000 miles. The salesman downplayed it the first time I mentioned it. The whole motor was shaking. The other car was making a clunking sound when we test drove it. It seems to me like their service team may not be all that great. Hope you have better luck if you go there. More

They sold me my vehicle WHILE it had parts that were actively under recall/warranty and never mentioned it to me AND skipped that section of my paperwork entirely. As a first-time car buyer, I did not know any better - but upon researching, they had a LEGAL obligation to inform me before i purchased. Furthermore, I brought my vehicle back for service THREE subsequent times because the transmission was stuttering due to the part that needed replaced that they never told me about. The first two times I was told that I did not, in fact, have the part, and there was nothing they could do. After getting it looked at by an independent mechanic for an unrelated issue, and having THEM tell me that I had the part that needed replaced, I brought it in a THIRD TIME. They conceded that I had the part, told me it was on back order from Ford, that they were placing an order, and would notify me when it arrived. Shocker ... i never heard back. For 8 months. No one spoke to me with respect or took me seriously. If you are in the Pittsburgh area and have the ability to go to a different location, DO SO!!! The Moon Township location listened to my concerns, immediately confirmed the issue that needed addressed, and fixed it SAME DAY. I will never be back to Kenny Ross Ford South for any reason. I'm beyond disgusted. More

Any reputable Service Department would acknowledge this is due to improper inflation and improper tire rotation. This unscrupulous Ford Dealer Service insisted it was normal wear, and lied to the cause since they performed all scheduled maintenance since the vehicle was new. I stated I would air my grievances on social media as is my prerogative as a disgruntled customer. The service manager then came very belligerent and falsely accused me of "Threatening Him" and told me to leave. I am a law abiding citizen and never threatened anyone. I only expressed my opinion and exercised my First Amendment Right to Freedom of Speech. Then the management of this disreputable Ford Dealer has chosen ignore the fact that their belligerent Service Manager is 100% responsible for escalating this situation by having the audacity of making False Accusations and violating my Right to Free Speech. It is my humble opinion to avoid this Ford Dealer as there are several reputable Ford Dealers in Southwestern PA. More
