I was told that my 2015 Ford Edge needed a new battery. I was charged $700 which of course seemed ridiculous. Fast forward 7 months later and my new battery is “ defective” and needs replacement which of c I was charged $700 which of course seemed ridiculous. I was taken advantage of by this car dealership. And of course they wouldn’t give me a loaner vehicle because they don’t have any. I was sold a bunch of lies and my $ 5000 warranty doesn’t cover their negligence. More
Definitely do not take your car here to be serviced. I was overcharged with very little transparency from VW. I was charged $618 to replace a windshield fluid pump. When I called to schedule the apt, they did not provide any price estimate over the phone. They did not inform me about the $200 diagnostic fee until after I arrived and gave them my keys. The shop spent 1.2 hours working on my car and charged $440 for labor, since it seems the $200 diagnostic fee isn't included in labor? Isn't that a roundabout way of double charging for labor? When they called me to approve the work, I was already $200 in the hole and it was too late to back out or I'd lose the $200. I was also charged $15 for a "shop charge". How was this not already absorbed by your massive bill? I got scammed, save yourself a lot of money and take your car literally anywhere else in Anchorage. Very disappointing experience. More
Although I didn’t buy the Atlas I was looking at, the customer service from Jonathon Redfearn was great and there was your normal haggling from people above him over the price (and it was a great trade p customer service from Jonathon Redfearn was great and there was your normal haggling from people above him over the price (and it was a great trade price) but as I thought about my Atlas I’m going to keep it. But he also showed me more features on my car that I didn’t know about and he pointed out a piece of rubber under my hood that was missing so I will be going to the pair’s counter soon, and he said if I needed anything else just call. Looking for a Volkswagen or Audi or whatever they have there look up Jonathon Redfearn. More

I recently went to Kendall Volkswagen with my entire family looking for a new family car. We were greeted by Shane and taken care of at a 10 out of 10 level. He addressed every question that we had with knowledgeable experience, ensured we had a streamlined evaluation for our trade-in, and worked hard to ensure our needs were met. Purchasing a car is a big investment and it is worth evaluating the decision with someone that knows the vehicles. I highly recommend Shane and Kendall Volkswagen for your next car buying experience! Worst experience ever RUN!!! RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN AND DON'T LOOK BACK! I've never left a review online for anything that I've purchased - never. But this has been the WOR RUN!!! RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN AND DON'T LOOK BACK! I've never left a review online for anything that I've purchased - never. But this has been the WORST purchasing experience of my life. IF I COULD GIVE THEM ZERO STARS, I WOULD. In March I traded in an impeccable 2014 Toyota for a beautiful used 2014 Subaru in order to get better gas mileage due to a new, longer commute. At first, I thought everything was going well - of course, they will say anything to get their sale...but they fail miserably at follow up. This dealership failed to pay off my trade-in within any reasonable amount of time (despite REPEATED CALLS requesting action), meaning that 45 DAYS LATER, I was making payments on BOTH the Toyota that was in their possession (the car I traded in) as well as the Subaru I had purchased from them. As if that wasn't enough, the dealership promised (during the SIX HOUR LONG purchasing experience) that they would fix the cracked and broken windshield on the Subaru, order the headrests that were missing, and fix the back liftgate, which was nonfunctioning. I knew there were issues that needed to be dealt with, but I took them at their word and trusted that they would hold up their end of the bargain. I called and called and called - no follow up. Cut to FIVE MONTHS LATER....Guess what is still not fixed - the broken windshield, the broken liftgate, and now the check engine light is on which terrifies me because this dealership has been nothing but dishonest and dismissive with me so far. THEY ARE NOT TO BE TRUSTED. I finally call enough times and make my way high up enough in their chain of command to get someone to take action. They apologize and apologize and promise to fix everything and make it right, even making an appointment with another Kendall dealership in Wasilla for the following week so that I don't have to go back down to Anchorage in order for them to keep their word. What happens? I spend two hours at Safelite Auto getting the windshield fixed myself and then drop my car off with the Wasilla dealership by 10am in order to get everything else taken care of (remember, we made this appointment a week in advance). They are super friendly and promise that today they will make everything right (after 5 months of the runaround.) I call three times during the day to try and get a status update on my car with no return calls. Instead, they lock up the dealership and go home without ever having returned my call or ever having touched the car that has been with them all day long with a week's advance notice (and that's if you don't count the five months I've been calling without follow up). I have to go to the dealership and get the sales department to find my keys so that I have a car to go to work with the next day. Now, here I am with a broken liftgate and check engine light that won't go off and still no follow up from the Kendall dealership family. THESE ARE HONESTLY THE MOST DISHONEST PEOPLE I HAVE EVER HAD THE DISPLEASURE OF DEALING WITH. And my car is still not fixed. Like I said, RUN - RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN TO ANY OTHER DEALERSHIP BUT A KENDALL DEALERSHIP. RUN!!! More

Luis also made sure he gave you all options to protect yourself and your vehicle. One thing that was very frustrating is I was told to be back there at 5PM on the 22nd to get a detail why I finished the remaining paperwork. Which you’d think it’d go in within minutes of arriving. Instead we were told our vehicle was #3 to go in for a detail. 3hrs later, I attempted to get an employee to check where it was at and he told me “I’ve been here since 9AM so I understand”. I finally went to Luis and he was very shocked we were still there. He had another sales man from the super store and go check where my truck was and got the truck for me. I’m sure the detail guy was just doing his job. I’m not frustrated at him but I am frustrated that I was scheduled for a 5PM appointment and my truck didn’t even go back until 6:30PM. We finally left at 8:17PM. Other than that we really enjoyed the experience and the customer service. More
