I contacted Kendall Toyota about a used car on their lot. Will M. responded to my questions and was condescending. As is commons with many politicians, he intentionally did not answer my actual question but Will M. responded to my questions and was condescending. As is commons with many politicians, he intentionally did not answer my actual question but different question with the intention of misleading me. I then spoke with his supervisor Jason W. Jason likes to talk on and on and using the tactic of mixing many small misrepresentations and unnecessary information into a long monologue. You have to interrupt many times or listen to him drone on and on with many lies and truths blended together to obscure the truth and making it very difficult to correct all the misrepresentations in his monologue. Taking a complaint about shady behavior to the manager will simply waste more of your time. More
!!!! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP !!! Here are the facts: I was sold a brand new 2023 Toyota Tundra that had a defective transmission. They would not acknowledge it until I called corporate and wen facts: I was sold a brand new 2023 Toyota Tundra that had a defective transmission. They would not acknowledge it until I called corporate and went above their head. I was promised a replacement truck, that never happened. Then I was promised a warranty. That never happened. Meanwhile, they messed up my paper work and tried to get me to pay a higher interest rate the next month. Jason Wilkinson is the GM and he is one of the most unprofessional human beings i've ever dealt with. He will lie and snake you at every corner. Do not trust this man at any point in time. I am dead serious. I will never buy another Toyota again, this dealership has completely turned me off from the brand. Please trust me and take your business elsewhere, THEY DO NOT DESERVE IT. 0/10 grimey practices. More
Might be the worst buying experience I've ever been a part of...after negotiating a deal from 4 hours away, asking to put down a deposit, while Ryan takes two days off (everyone deserves days off) withou part of...after negotiating a deal from 4 hours away, asking to put down a deposit, while Ryan takes two days off (everyone deserves days off) without telling me he had two days off, then assigning it to another salesperson, Lacey, who was "too busy to reach out to me," they sold the vehicle right out from under me...All while I included the internet sales manager in the communication and he couldn't reach out...Haven't heard from them since? Awesome when it's all about your pocketbook and not about the customer, thanks! More
Buyer Beware! ! I have never been more humiliated and belittled. I did an online appraisal for Kendall to Purchase my vehicle. A Toyota Tacoma TRD Sport. I was told ! I have never been more humiliated and belittled. I did an online appraisal for Kendall to Purchase my vehicle. A Toyota Tacoma TRD Sport. I was told we would be in the ballpark of $35,358.00. I took for granted what that meant. Doing some research on what market value is like. I decided to make a trip to visit my local Toyota dealer. To my surprise this dealer by no means cares about current consumers. I was offered $33,500. To be honest I felt very disrespected and my attitude towards them was not pleasant. As I could clearly see they wanted to take advantage of me. Based on what their own website is advertising the only 4 Tacomas available none would compare to mying. I did a wide search of 500 miles and there are only 2 Tacomas that share similar Common Values. Both of those vehicles selling between $44K- $46K As I requested to speak with a Sales Manager or someone higher than the current appraiser. I was treated kindly by Will Miller who told me he was the General Sales Manager.( he is actually a Sales Consultant based on their web page) Once I pointed out my research of my current market value of the vehicle. He smirked and said they are a high profit dealership and they will make money from me regardless if I like it or not. I decided to walk away and Will told me to keep my voucher if I changed my mind. If I was not happy with the offer. Why would anyone rudely want you to consider it? He did not want to listen to my concern and clearly let me know they weren't there for the interest of the consumer. When I approached Mr. Jason Bartlett he rudely dismissed me and said to get the xxxx out the store. And dismissed me with a peace sign. I decided to walk away and cool off a bit. A few minutes later I went back in and I wanted to get names to complain to a Store Manager. To my surprise I was greeted by Jeff Cummings. Who Himself and Will let me know he wanted to hear me out. (According to the Webpage Jeff is a Finance Manager). Once I camly explained to Jeff. He responded that if you don't like the offer you don't need to accept it. He did not hear me out again. As I expressed my concerns for the consumer being ripped off and how His staff laughed at me. But once he was done he said to leave or he would be calling the cops. They did not like me calling out the low ball offer for my vehicle. And got upset because I said I was not going to let them tell me I was a fu(%en idiot and keep on ripping people off. So please if you are in the market for a vehicle do a bit of research. These salesmen are the reason why most people don't want to go to dealerships. They will try to manipulate and keep in control. Price gouging, I personally think it’s unethical. But that’s what a number of auto dealers are doing these days, including the Kendall Auto Group. Kendall Auto makes a big deal of being family owned and really caring about their customers. What a crock. So here is my experience, specifically with Kendall Toyota. They gave me a spec sheet and price, working back and forth over email. I replied that it sounded fine and would come in to make a deposit (these days there are few cars on the lot). So they brought out the paperwork and said there is a $2500 surcharge???? Looking at other reviews, they are doing this a lot. They say there is a surcharge because these cars are in high demand. Ford and General Motors have publicly told their dealers not to do this (price gouging), apparently Toyota has not communicated that or Kendall Auto just doesn’t care. So here is my reaction, first of all I told them no deal. Second, although I have done a lot of business with Kendall Auto in the past, they will never see me again. At any of their dealerships. I am due to replace my 4Runner next year, and it will definitely not be with these guys. I am making sure that my friends and family know this as well. My message to Kendall Auto is the same as the Ukrainians gave to the Russian warship (I won’t get any more specific here). More
We spent 4 hours over the course of two days, test driving and discussing the purchase of a car with Kendall Toyota of Bend. We decided on a RAV4 hybrid. We agreed on the price and I gave the salesper driving and discussing the purchase of a car with Kendall Toyota of Bend. We decided on a RAV4 hybrid. We agreed on the price and I gave the salesperson a check for $1000 to reserve the car. She left to get me a receipt and came back with the information that the car now cost $2500 more than 10 minutes ago. The classic Bait and Switch. We felt completely ripped off and played. They made no attempt to make it right. We are retired school teachers, with integrity. They are crooks. More
Kendall Toyota of Bend is the quintessential used car dealer. Apparently used car dealer reputation has not evolved... $39,000 "Toyota Certified" 2018 Tacoma with 28k miles purchased full in cash. Ser dealer. Apparently used car dealer reputation has not evolved... $39,000 "Toyota Certified" 2018 Tacoma with 28k miles purchased full in cash. Service light came on within 350 miles. Told us there was nothing they were willing to do because it was certified. Turns out they never changed any fluids as evidenced by the condition of the brownish engine oil (obviously not new oil!). Told them before purchase we wanted it steam cleaned because it smelled like cigarette smoke. They "sprayed deodorizer and the smell would go away within a week". It didn't. Called them two weeks later and they refused to do anything further because it was too late, and also they do not have a steam cleaner as the salesman claimed they did when purchased. This dealership is horrible....and this was not the first time they have screwed me over. Unfortunately Tacomas are hard to come by and you have to bend over to get what you want. Let it be knows they just want your money and there is no actual "Toyota Certification". More
