Wow. Difficult to describe entire experience here. I bought a new Ford Escort in 1990 and it required repair after a couple months. Ignition switch failed and couldn't start vehicle. Car came loose from bought a new Ford Escort in 1990 and it required repair after a couple months. Ignition switch failed and couldn't start vehicle. Car came loose from tow truck and was wrecked. Waited months for repairs. Promised myself I would never patronize Ford again. April 2021 I tried again. Same crappy service. If you're not prepared to drop 50k for a new vehicle stay away. More
Donovan was amazing and very patient with us on deciding on a truck. The financing was a little slow but that was due to being short handed and being later in the day. This is the second vehicle we have bou on a truck. The financing was a little slow but that was due to being short handed and being later in the day. service department is the worst. I called to schedule an oil change and I was told the best thing to do is walk in first thing in the morning. I showed up at 8:00 and was told they can't do it while I wait oil change and I was told the best thing to do is walk in first thing in the morning. I showed up at 8:00 and was told they can't do it while I waited but I could leave my truck and maybe they would get to it today. I was then told I could schedule an appointment two weeks out, for an oil change. What is the point of having an "express" oil center if you can't get car in. I kept getting different stories from people behind the counter. Bottom line they can't do anything. More

F.O.R.D, Found On Road Dead In 2018 I bought a BRAND NEW 2018 Ford Escape from Kendall Ford of Anchorage. This car only had a few miles on it. When you buy a brand-new car, you expect zero issues from it for a while. I was sure wrong, shame on me for assuming. Since the moment I bought the car I have kept up with all routine maintenance. Within 6 months of owning it, it was back at the Ford Dealership for a leak that was found during a routine inspection. After two weeks the parts came in and my car was repaired. Fast forward another 6-ish months and the radio in my car goes out. I then contacted Kendall Ford of Wasilla December 2019 to get an appointment to get it looked at. They were scheduled out over a month and I could not get in until January 2020. My car finally went into the shop to get looked at. I waited the entire day for a phone call to find out the status and how long repairs would take and what was going on. After leaving a couple messages I received no response so I then decided to show up. The tech and service rep that was handling my car had gone home for the night. Another service rep looked into my car and it was determined that I needed a brand-new engine due to a leak. Okay, cool, not even two years old and I already need a new engine. Of course, the dealership did not have parts for my engine or my radio module which later was determined needed to be replace. My car was in their shop from January 2020 to April 2020 … During this time parts were being order and some on back order. My Radio Module (the original issue) was supposed to have been fixed within the first week of them keeping my car. I was told within a week of my car being at their shop that the parts had been received and they would fix my radio and wait on engine parts. The parts for the engine were on back order and would not be received until April 2020. The dealership provided me with a rental and I was told the rental needed to be exchanged every 2-3 weeks due to me commuting and them wanting to keep low mileage on the car. This was totally understandable and I was okay with doing so. After about a month I called the dealership to check in and to also come in an exchange the rental. I was told it was okay and not to worry about it now. Doing this a few times I was always told not to worry about exchanging the rental. Finally, early April they decided I needed to exchange the rental. I went in that very next morning and did so. The service manager at Kendall Ford of Wasilla was really rude about the mileage that had been put on the rental car. I got a new rental and proceeded on my way. That same day a taxi cab ran into me and hit my new rental car. I notified my insurance and the dealership ASAP and the rental was paid for and fixed within two weeks. That next morning after getting hit, they decided that my car was safe to drive and I could have it back until they were ready to fix it, seems strange, I know. I headed to the dealership just to find out that my car battery was dead… They obviously didn’t check that my car was safe because they would have determined the battery was dead. I was told that they could get a new battery in my car the next morning and I would be able to pick it up. The next day comes around and the same process, I go to pick up my car to find out that they actually didn’t have the battery and were waiting to get one it. Here I am on day three to pick up my car and I finally have a new battery. Upon getting my car I realized that the radio had still not been fixed. I decided to just go home and wait for a phone call to get my car back into the shop. Roughly two weeks go buy and I get a call that they are ready to replace my engine. During that phone call I stated that the radio had not been fixed so both the engine and the original issue of the radio needed to be done, I was told that they did not have that noted and I was told this would be looked into. I return my car to them on Tuesday, April 28 2020 to have it repaired. Upon arriving it was stated again that my engine was being done. I mention to them yet again how the radio had not been done and that needed to be done. I get a call on Thursday that my car would be ready Friday, May 1st, come Friday at 3:30pm I had not received a call so I called the dealership and left a message. I got a call about 4:00pm that day stating that they were short staffed and the engine had been replaced but they needed to do some test drives on it but my car wouldn’t be ready until Monday, May 4th 2020. Come Monday at 3:30pm I called the dealership again to follow-up on my car and of course, had to leave a message. I got a call around 5:00pm to state that during a test drive my car started to stutter so the tech would have to check it out the next morning. I again asked about the radio and was told that there was nothing stated it needed to be done because it has already been done. I informed the rep that it had not been done and by turning on the car they would noticed that. This issue was going to be looked into yet again and I would get a follow up on Tuesday. Here we are today, finally, Tuesday, May 5, 2020…. I get a call that everything is okay with my car and that it is ready to be picked up. I, of course, asked about the radio. It was under the interpretation by the rep that it was working I was just having issues with the touch screen. This information was incorrect, the entire module did not work. I have had no radio, back up camera, etc since November 2019. I was then told that they did not have the parts to fix it even though they had supposedly been ordered in January and received but now they are “missing” probably installed in some other car and they don’t want to admit their mistake. They now have to reorder the parts and the plant that makes these is closed due to COVID-19 so no way to determine when or if my radio will ever get fixed now. This dealership has a communication issues and Ford obviously does not know how to “build high quality, dependable products” like they advertise. This issue has been nothing less than a headache and completely exhausting. I will NEVER purchase another Ford vehicle or EVER buy from Kendall Ford again. I have recommended them to many family members after previously buying 3 cars from them in the past. I sure do regret them ever getting a dime out of me. I am dreading having to deal with them for the next 2-3 months if now longer. Save yourself time and money and the hassle. I wouldn’t wish this experience on my worst enemy More
Completly incompetent Horrible service center, I've had several problems with service on both my Taurus and my F350 but today was the last straw. My low tire pressure light Horrible service center, I've had several problems with service on both my Taurus and my F350 but today was the last straw. My low tire pressure light came on and I asked that it be looked at and corrected while my truck was in for its normal service and of course it was not corrected when I picked up the truck which has become a reoccurring theme with this service center and when I complained to the service manager he looked at my truck and immediately told me that they could not turn off the low pressure warning because I installed aftermarket tires, except I didn't, as my tires and wheels were purchased from the Wasilla Kendall ford dealership when I purchased the truck and they installed my tires and the warning light has never been a problem for the two years I've owned the truck. The people at the service center are just clueless and incompetent. More
Patient and Understanding Having to replace my 2016 Ford Fusion because it was totaled out in a traffic accident. Bill (floor sales) and Justin (Internet sales) were very under Having to replace my 2016 Ford Fusion because it was totaled out in a traffic accident. Bill (floor sales) and Justin (Internet sales) were very understanding about the traumatic event and patient with my emotional status about "Marilynn" being a total loss. The best part was they understood the major decision in choosing a new, reliable replacement. I have dealt with Kendall (formerly Nye ford) in Wasilla since I had my college car. There has always been a very respectful, informative, and very comfortable experience at Kendall in Wasilla. There is no pressure in having to make a sale and they allowed me to take time in my decision. I am now a very happy owner of a 2019 Ford Fusion "Maxene". More
