I gave Kendall Ford of wasilla a bad review because of a pompous salesman. He has no customer relations skills at all. He is the reason for car salesman stereotypes. He had no knowledge of any of the cars we looked at. He was extremely pushy we asked for a more knowledgeable salesperson to help but he refused our frequent requests. My husband and I ended up going to Cal worthington in anchorage and were more than satisfied with our new Yukon denali. We will never go to Kendall Ford of wasilla again. The hour drive is worth it for The customer service and knowledgeable staff at Cals. More
I will say this review is only for the Kendall dealership in Wasilla. The only reason we dealt with this establishment was the great price of the vehicle. The customer service when we initially impressive with the salesperson opening the door but this very quickly faded as the there was nobody the approached us after we came in. We stood around for about 2 minutes before anyone came up to us. The salesperson was preoccupied with personal business, texting someone. We were then told we could not take the car home that night after waiting on the staff for three hours, because they could not verify our pre-approved funding for the vehicle. The process after this took a hard plummet as the general manager and finance person made us feel as though they thought they were above us. We also had the general manager changing his policy from the original policy we were told about when we first came in. After three visits back to the dealership from Anchorage we were finally able to take the vehicle home. We have bought a number of cars in our lifetime and I will say this is the worse car buying experience I have ever come across. We will not go back to the Kendall Ford in Wasilla. The arrogance shown by the staff at the dealership was a major turnoff, coupled with the sleezy business practices make for a stereotypical "car dealer". More
We recently purchased a new 2010 Ford F-150 Super Crew Lariat from Kendall Ford in Wasilla, Alaska. On a rare Saturday off from life and work we originally intended only to “pop by” the Kendall lot and take a quick look at the new Ford Raptors. A good friend of ours is the Executive Director of the world’s longest and toughest snowmobile race, called The Iron Dog. This year, as part of promoting the upcoming 2011 race, a Ford Raptor from Kendall is being raffled off to raise much needed funds and awareness for the race. Having no Raptors in stock at the time we were just casually tire kicking and looking at the colors and features of the new F-250 diesels when James introduced himself and asked if he could help. We told him we where there on a whim, just looking, and not serious. We even had our black lab a long for the ride with us that day. Still just browsing the lot and inventory for a bit and occasionally asking James a question or two we soon noticed the EXTREME amount of room in the back seat of the new F-150 Super Crew. Next thing you knew we were test driving one, and then a while later driving one of their nicest trucks off the lot headed home with our lab in the back. The best part of our sales experience at Kendall, and dealing with James, was the fact that he understood the vehicle was for my our family and took a sincere interest in addressing all of our concerns and explaining all the safety features of the truck. Our number one priority was safety being that the vehicle will be used to transport our son and black lab around all of Alaska. Our immediate and extended families drive Ford vehicles of all types and have for many years. The total number of Fords in our family are too numerous to count. They include daily driven sedans, ranch trucks, personal trucks, company trucks, Ford tractors, and the occasional Mustang. As for us, our new F-150 is parked next to our 2001 F-250 and 1995 Mustang GT in the driveway. Our new F-150 is by far, hands down, the nicest and most refined Ford vehicle either of us has ever owned or driven. Kendall and James made our sales experience incredibly easy and greatly satisfying. We will definitely recommend James and Kendall specifically to anyone and everyone looking for a new or used vehicle. More

Our first visit to the dealership was to see the trucks, sit inside, and review the options. No pressure, we were given keys to the trucks we wanted to look at more closely, allowed to take our time, I wou sit inside, and review the options. The truck I was looking for was not available. The staff searched all dealerships in Alaska, looked at vehicles scheduled to arrive to the show rooms, and than made me a great offer on a truck they would order from the factory with all the Ford rebates. We needed a work truck with certain extras. Tim worked with us by email for a couple of weeks when we met face to face, he helped us work through our concerns it took awhile but I never felt pushed or pre with us by email for a couple of weeks when we met face to face, he helped us work through our concerns it took awhile but I never felt pushed or pressured into a deal. We decided on a F-250 Super Duty. When we got into finance Tina Corbin explained options again with out pushing us to spend more then we planed. It was the best new vehicle experience I have had out of the five new vehicles purchased in my lifetime. More

I have never experienced such professional attention and consideration from a car dealership as I received at Kendall Ford of Wasilla. The patience and understanding shown to me by absolutely everyone associated with Kendall Ford was unbelievable. I took the better part of an entire year before finally deciding what I wanted exactly, and when I wanted it, and at no time was I ever made the target for high pressure sales of any kind, nor was I ever made to feel as if I was wasting anyone's time. Additionally, when I finally did make my decision to purchase, my customer service representative, Mr. Doc Kane, made himself available to me 24/7. He answered all of my questions no matter when I asked. This included both late nights and week-ends. Still, at no time did the high pressure sales ever start--not ever! I ordered my vehicle from the factory, and Doc kept me abreast of every stage of the process--from the factory receiving the order, through the assembly process, its trip to the railhead, etc., and all the way to Wasilla, AK! The exceptional service certainly didn't stop there, by any means. The detail with which everyone concerned inspected the vehicle was absolutely impressive,to say the least. Doc personally ensured eveerything I ordered was present on the vehicle and in perfect working condition, Additionally, Doc went over absolutely every aspect of the entire loan process not only to my satisfaction, but more importantly, he took the time to ensure my wife understood absolutely everything, as well! When the time came to finalize all of the loan paperwork and to actually sign all of the associated documents, Doc introduced us to the individual responsible, and that person also spent a great deal of time explaining every option available to us! The high quality of care and genuine concern for the customer was apparent at every location within the dealership--Doc took us around to meet everyone from Parts and Service to even the folks who would provide us with transportation to anywhere in the city while my vehicle was being serviced--and at no time did the attitudes change! I highly recommend this place to anyone in the market for a vehicle--I have on several occasions already, and will continue to do so. The professionalism is without equal! More
