Faulty Used Car I purchased a low mileage Ford Fusion (2010 with 43K miles) from Marysville Ford in Sept. 2016. I admit I should have taken the car to an independent I purchased a low mileage Ford Fusion (2010 with 43K miles) from Marysville Ford in Sept. 2016. I admit I should have taken the car to an independent mechanic to be inspected as getting under a car like this in the middle of the dealer parking lot is next to impossible. I also did not get the extended warranty as most of those are still limited in nature, cost an arm and a leg, and typically are just profit "gravy" for the seller. Well, in this case, it would have been nice to have. Within a month, I noticed that there was a transmission leak from an axle seal. Estimate...$700. I took it to Marysville Ford, even though they said it would not be under warranty. To their credit, they covered that bill (otherwise they would get only one star). I replaced the brakes on the car shortly after. This did not concern me because of the miles on the car. However, in the area of the brake caliper, there was a tremendous amount of heavy black grease on the fwd left caliper. I hoped it was related to the axle seal and was just residual. Over the past 6 months, I have had to replace the Power Transfer Unit ($2000) and have the transmission rebuilt ($4000) and have the PCV valve reconnected ($300). I feel like this car had enough major issues with it that should have been recognized by Marysville Ford, that they should not have put the car on their lot, with the idea that it went through some multi point inspection and is solid. I feel like they limped it along until they could sell it, expecting these issues were on the near horizon. I admit some ownership of this issue, but I don't trust these folks and will never go back to this dealership. I can relate to some of the other things mentioned here, like the attempt to offer the LoJack, which I declined, and then it showed up on the quote sheet anyway so I had to reiterate that I did not want it. Schisters!! More
Started good But went seriously wrong they tell you that they're going to work things into your price so that you're not really paying too much more We went fro But went seriously wrong they tell you that they're going to work things into your price so that you're not really paying too much more We went from a 15,000 to 24,000 lots of hidden details plus 695. For a Lojack you didn't ask for and from what I understand is a waste of money because people can still part those cars so it does nothing for the consumer Plus why should others pay for their security on their vehicles I could go into more just be leery of their sales manager as well he was xxxx-bent on trying to put me in my place is a woman when I discuss this with other people later on I realize just how condescending this person truly was to us and you will not have a repeat customer that is for sure And don't get me started on the service department half the time they are running around trying to figure out what's going on Just ridiculous I've never seen such incompetence I've since found a new dealership and won't be coming back More
Dishonest scam I have never wrote reviews on anyone. The initial visit here started off good but turned quickly after my test drive. Jayson lied and said the info I have never wrote reviews on anyone. The initial visit here started off good but turned quickly after my test drive. Jayson lied and said the info sheet was to keep my info on file and that credit was not going to be pulled until I was ready to confirm the purchase and then they would send to their lenders to review financing. Moments later there is a finance associate at there and Jayson is nowhere to be seen. I have an alert on my phone that an inquiry was made on my credit report and the financing agent still trying to get me to close on a sale. I do loans for a living, I was very clear on my intentions to buy, the vehicle I was interested in. A good sales person can read their customers to land a sale. Jayson didn't instead him and his partner scammed what they thought would be an easy sale. Had he listened, this sale could've taken place the next day. More
Bait and Switch Sleazy Dealership Bait and Switch Operation We found a truck that they advertised on Carguru, we offered them the asking price, got a out the door price from them, We Bait and Switch Operation We found a truck that they advertised on Carguru, we offered them the asking price, got a out the door price from them, We were planning to finance though our bank. They deployed a couple of tricks to delay the bank approval. We were pre approved, they send a text pic of the sales doc, then told us the bank had sent the wrong form. But we could come and pick up the truck, we just had to sign a contract. When we got there after a 2 hour drive in rush hour traffic. Salesman #1 greeted us and told us that he had just sold the car. After a discussion Salesman #2 told us that another salesman from the "other lot" had picked it up to sell it to another customer. But we saw the advertised truck on the lot. Buyer Beware, real xxxxxxxx operation. More
ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. GO ANYWHERE ELSE!!!! HORRIBLE!! Went to buy a car 2014 did all the paperwork and leg work over the phone since we live in Spokane. After being told the car was 100% read HORRIBLE!! Went to buy a car 2014 did all the paperwork and leg work over the phone since we live in Spokane. After being told the car was 100% ready to go, we rent a 1 one rental car assuming to drive back with the purchased vehicle. 15 mins before we get there we get a call from the same salesman saying "oh a yellow wrench light JUST came on" so we asked them to run the code etc and was told they couldn't since the light went out ( that's xx). So they stranded my wife in their car lot and offered a 300$ discount price and let us fix it. I asked for that in writing that nothing else relating to that light was on us and they would take care of it and Lance responded " hes not an open check book" but he wanted us to take this car in this condition. After refusing this deal and my wife stranded there they never once offered to accommodate anything, no hotel, no dinner, no rental care fees nothing. Upon the next day we finally get a diagnostic report they tried to say it was the first time they had seen the light it was new....no it wasn't the report showed it had come on 7 times in the last month and was ignored. upon investigation it was not what they said at all and was gong to cost 1000$ to repair and once i told them that they said they would just wholesale the car instead of fixing it or discounting the vehicle. needless to say i paid for another one way rental car back home and my wife was at the mercy of these 2 horrible associates of Marysville Ford. We are filing a formal complaint through the proper channels. I would request reports an EVERY car from them and don't buy anything from them without the history of the car. Car fax, Diagnostic report everything they are not to be trusted. I would never let anyone i know buy from them. More
"Quick Lane" is misleading unless you think 90 min is fast This is my second bad experience here. The first time I talked with the service manager and he assured me that he was working through several problems This is my second bad experience here. The first time I talked with the service manager and he assured me that he was working through several problems with employees and their process to improve service...nothing has improved. The wait time is ridiculous I watched several customers leave after being told it would be about an hour....I decided to wait and it took just under 2 hours for me. They didn't even wash or vacuum the car. The advertisement claims $39.95 for "The Works" oil change yet I ended up paying $54...I asked why and the cashier told me it was they must have used a more expensive oil....hmmm funny that wasn't mentioned when I dropped off the car. I am not faulting the cashier as he seemed like he was new and had been dealing with upset customers all day so I just left upset with my experience. The icing on the cake is the hand written (sloppy) reminder sticker that was slapped in an annoying spot, rather then the corner out of view...unprofessional. I would rather they apologize that their printer isn't working and not put the sticker up. I will not come here again and regret I purchased my new car from here. My other vehicles are serviced at the local Toyota and VW dealerships and their service is light years better. More
ULTIMATE FAIL I recently moved to the area. As a rule, I only have Ford dealerships preform any work or maintenance on my truck. I met with the service writer and e I recently moved to the area. As a rule, I only have Ford dealerships preform any work or maintenance on my truck. I met with the service writer and explained my issue(s). After 5 days I called and was told they were "unable to replicate the issue(s)" so they didn't believe there was anything wrong. (My truck had developed a strong exhaust smell in the cab and the alignment was out) I picked it up and nothing had been done! It hadn't even been watched but it had about 50 miles more than when it was dropped off. As I drove it home (less than 6 miles) the smell was still there and it was still out of alignment. I called the next morning and was told they would put their "best" diesel guy on it and to bring it back. Did I mention I had to pay for 5 hours of shop time? I brought it back and again was told the same thing. I later discovered I had a broken rear leaf spring. I can go on and on but here's the truth. Their Quicklane service center is a joke. They have done everything from leaving lug nuts loose, more than once, to not changing my oil (even though they said the did and charged me for a full service) to breaking my locking lugs by using an impact on them, to showing me reports that said my brakes were "metal to metal" when they were less than 1/2 worn, to telling me my batteries were shot and needed replacing, to telling me my transmission and differential fluids were contaminated (they had changed them 3 moths before). Each time these events happened, I was assured the problems had been addressed and would not happen again. They never were. I also attempted to purchase a new 2017 from this dealership 4 times. The first I was told a "sale" price and given a trade-in value for my truck but, when I sat down to do the deal I was given completely different numbers, I called and complained and was told by "the sales manager" that he personally would address this and make me a deal that would "make up for" the way I was treated. This too never happened! I then tried to buy the internet special truck at the advertised price. I called and spoke with the salesperson and verified the truck was in-fact available. On my way to the dealership, I received a call saying the truck was sold... I went online and it still showed available so I clicked on the link to "chat" the person I spoke with told me they had personally verified the truck was still available so I asked if I could give him a deposit to hold it until I got there? He informed me that they "do not accept deposits or hold vehicles" and I would have to be there in person to buy the truck, I told him I was on my way. When I got there, I was told it was sold to and out of state buyer. I asked how could this have happened since I was told they didn't do that. The response was " the internet manager must have been misinformed" but, they did have other trucks they would be happy to "work with me on"... To summarize, this is the worst ford dealership I have ever been associated with. I will not go back ad I will continue to inform everyone I meet of their unacceptable practices. One last thing, they've had so many bad reviews, you can no longer leave a review on their website. More

Dishonesty is the #1 Policy! I have had endless issues with not only the vehicle I purchased here but every department I have dealt with since the sale. When I purchased the vehic I have had endless issues with not only the vehicle I purchased here but every department I have dealt with since the sale. When I purchased the vehicle in November of 2015 they pocketed $4,000 for a warranty that they never actually sold me. 10 months down the road when I needed to use the warranty to repair the trash vehicle they sold me the warranty company had NO file on myself or my vehicle.. Come to find out it was because Marysville Ford decided to pocket the money instead. I paid interest on that money and had an unprotected vehicle for 10 months because of this decision. As if that wasn't bad enough, when they got caught, they lied and processed my warranty immediately and refused to give me my full refund (I decided to trade the vehicle in at another dealer due to the issues it had) because I "had the warranty for 10 months therefore it is pro-rated." That is not true because they activated the warranty the same day I asked them to cancel it. At the time I purchased the vehicle I also purchased GAP coverage and luckily the decided to be honest and actually process that for me. Here we are all these months later and I have cancelled the GAP coverage and got a HUGE run around about them giving me my refund. They claimed to have sent the document.. never got it. Two days later I finally received it. I sent everything in and life was good. I have followed up to make sure the check was cut and asked numerous times when the check will be ready but have gotten nothing but excuses. First there wasn't enough people available to sign the check.. so I waited a day. Then I emailed to confirm the check would be ready and the lady Miechelle said it was so I go in and this HORRIBLY RUDE "manager" comes out tells my my money isn't available and there's nothing he can do to help so I can leave. After all these games they had the audacity to email me this morning telling me that if I failed to pick up the check by close tonight they would be mailing it... as if its my fault that they have had a month to get this sorted out and have failed to do so. THIS IS THE MOST DISHONEST AND TERRIBLE DEALERSHIP I HAVE EVER HAD THE DISPLEASURE OF DOING BUSINESS WITH. I would not recommend this dealership to my worst enemy. I could honestly write pages more about the poor service, terrible quality vehicles and lies and stealing that this dealership provides but there is not enough time in the day to do so. More
Not customer focused I September of 2016 I bought a brand new 2016 F-150 from Marysville Ford. To begin with they took it back to detail it and it came back with scratches I September of 2016 I bought a brand new 2016 F-150 from Marysville Ford. To begin with they took it back to detail it and it came back with scratches all over the inside of the bed, which would've been fine if I put the scratches in it, but I didn't. It was a brand new truck! It shouldn't have any. So I had to pay for a bed liner. I had also paid for a 3m clear bra, which they screwed up the first time and left creases in the film. I turned it away to retry. So I stayed in the rental they gave me. When I came back the next day, there was a big paint chip right in the center of the front of the hood. So now they have to fix that also. So after I ended up going back for the 7TH TIME, it finally looked some what alright and I was tired of wasting HOURS EACH TIME, I excepted the truck. They told me they would refund the clear bra, and compensate me for all of the time wasted there. They refunded the money, but they keep telling me Everytime I call that they are working on my request and they will call me back but they never do. This dealership isn't concerned with keeping their customers and I will never go back to them. More
