Kendall took an extremely xxxxty, 4+ months of ‘just good enough to placate us into the next week’ under previous ownership, regarding an unsafe vehicle we purchased... and turned it into a 5 star review and enough to placate us into the next week’ under previous ownership, regarding an unsafe vehicle we purchased... and turned it into a 5 star review and customer loyalty. We purchased an 08’ F350 under Marysville ford with extended warranty, and less than 2 months after owning it... it ended up in the shop for a total of 4 months (it was having issues during that first 2 months... but nothing bad enough it needed to be towed in) with multiple trips and hours spent waiting on tow trucks mixed in. Ultimately, Erik stepped in as GM, and I had emailed him (on a Sunday) giving the readers digest of our experience, and letting him know we wanted to return the truck for our money back. He called me THE NEXT DAY asking if we could be persuaded to let them try to trade us into something else. Mind you, previously.. I’d have been lucky if I had received any kind of response within a week, and he CALLED me the very next day. Even with everything he had going on with the transition and the whole country all but shut down, and our schedules... it only took a week and a half to make a deal on another truck. I can’t say it was a super smooth transaction over that week and a half... but I absolutely don’t fault Erik on that, being thrown into the tail end of a hot mess. Ultimately, we are happy, we were taken care of, we have a safe vehicle that we are confident will last us a good long while with nothing more than routine maintenance.... and we will be back when it’s time to replace our expedition. One was a recall that they had notified us of, one was an airbag problem and the last was just a scheduled oil change. We don’t have any issue of the work that was done or how long it took. We understood that it could take longer to get parts and they are working with smaller crews. It took a week in total for work to be done. Again, the quality of work performed (top notch!) and the time it took weren’t the problem. What we did have issues with were communication. Our service person, while very polite, was not communicative at all. We dropped the car off on Weds. April 22nd. Late Weds. WE called to get an update. Patrick said he needed parts and he would let us know the next day. Didn’t hear back by close to end of business Thurs. WE called. Part didn’t come (no biggie). He would contact us on Fri. Again, we knew airbag issue could take time. Never heRd from him on Fri. Called Sat. (website says they’re open). Found out they were closed. No mention of that from Patrick. However, he just happened to be coming in that day. He actually called said he was sorry car wasn’t finished would be Mon. Didn’t hear anything on Monday. Didn’t hear from them until late Tuesday thru text that car was done and an invoice. Work done ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Customer service ⭐️ More
