Purchased a used 2018 f350 for over $65,000 with a bumper to bumper warranty. Truck dies and won’t start when it gets wet. According to them it has a leaky windshield that is an aftermarket part that is ge to bumper warranty. Truck dies and won’t start when it gets wet. I would not recommend any person to ever buy a vehicle here. More

Purchased a 2016 F150 Lariat will no sales pressure. I never write reviews but have to make an exception here. I found the truck I was looking for at Kendall Ford in Anchorage and Matt Feichtinger was my sales guy. He braved a very cold morning to show me the truck which was in excellent condition and VERY clean. I did not purchase it the day I looked at it but what impressed me the most was Matt did not take offense when I told him I had another truck to consider before making a decision. A few days later I committed to purchasing the truck but would not be able to pick it up for another two and a half weeks. Again, no pressure to get it off the lot sooner and his professionalism continued until the day I drove it off the lot. I have purchased my share of new and used vehicles and have heard all the sales pitches and felt the pressure but not here. I left there extremely satisfied and this review is to ensure Matt receives the credit and recognition due. More

Lack of Communication and Poor Customer Service I recently had my 2019 Ford F-350 Lariat into Kendall Ford Anchorage to diagnose some drivetrain noise. I had high expectations as my recent visits to I recently had my 2019 Ford F-350 Lariat into Kendall Ford Anchorage to diagnose some drivetrain noise. I had high expectations as my recent visits to the Kendall Ford Anchorage Quick Lane for routine maintenance had been absolutely spectacular. I dropped my vehicle off for my 7:30am appointment on Monday 1/13/20. My service adviser was polite, courteous, and helpful. He told me that the technicians would look at my truck and he would call me later that day to update me on the findings and any necessary next steps. By 4pm Monday I had not been contacted. I called my service adviser’s direct phone line and left a voicemail. By 5pm that voicemail had not been returned, so I called the main service department phone number and requested to speak to my service adviser. After being placed on hold for approximately 20 minutes, I was able to speak with my service adviser. He informed me that my vehicle wasn’t able to be looked at that day and would need to stay overnight. I noted that this was an unfortunate but understandable situation. He assured me that my vehicle would be looked at first thing Tuesday (1/14/20) morning and he would immediately call me with an update. I was not contacted by my service adviser on Tuesday. At 5pm that day I called my service adviser’s direct phone line and left a voicemail. That voicemail was never returned. I again called my service adviser’s direct phone line at 7:45am on Wednesday 1/15/20. I was able to speak with him and he informed me that the service technician needed to assess my vehicle again to verify the diagnosis, it would be looked at that morning, and he would call me to provide me with an update. I received no calls from my service adviser by the close of business on Wednesday. Having not heard from my service adviser, I went to Kendall Ford Anchorage around 8:30am on Thursday 1/16/20 to retrieve my truck. A satisfactory diagnosis for the drivetrain noise was provided when I arrived. I inquired of my service adviser as to why no attempts were made to contact me and provide me information on my vehicle or updates on the status of the service. He was apologetic and stated that the level of service I received was unacceptable. He said the fault was entirely his. I appreciated his candor and acceptance of fault, but he provided no explanation for the poor communication. Based on this experience, it appears that Kendall Ford Anchorage has significant and serious issues regarding communication between service advisers and their customers. At no time during the four-day period did my service adviser or anyone at Kendall Ford Anchorage initiate contact with me or return my phone calls. I sincerely hope that this frustrating experience was simply a one-off and that Kendall Ford Anchorage can demonstrate satisfactory customer service in the future. However, I was just notified of a safety recall on my vehicle and I must admit that I am simply dreading another service appointment with Kendall Ford Anchorage. More

The first issue was faulty sensors that were causing a fault in t For the second time since purchasing our 2016 Lincoln MK-X, we have needed service. The first issue was faulty sensors that were causing a fault in the dash and not working as they were supposed to. We attempted to schedule an appointment and were told that they were booked out for the next six weeks. So, we were to wait six weeks to have a potentially unsafe condition addressed. In this case, I expressed my shock and surprise at the wait time and they did manage to find a day sooner, although it still took several weeks for them to get the parts and install them. Now, we have a faulty camera on the front of the vehicle that also affects the collision avoidance feature, so another potential safety feature not working properly. In this case, we called on January 13, and are told that the first available appointment is March 26. So, we have to wait 2 1/2 months for service. This is what we get for living in a town where one company has the monopoly on Ford service. So, we will be car shopping tomorrow for a vehicle that can get serviced in Anchorage, Alaska. More
