The sales guy was OK. The problem came when I went to buy the car. It only had one key. When I asked for a second, everyone got real snotty. Sales guy said a new one cost $60.00, sales manager said $1 buy the car. It only had one key. When I asked for a second, everyone got real snotty. Sales guy said a new one cost $60.00, sales manager said $100..ish, then changed it to $150. Was going to buy two cars at once, but left primarily due to the attitude of the sales manager. I will never go back and I warn everyone...buyer beware these guys stink. Went down the street and bought brand new for what these guys wanted for used. Was the worst sales experience I have ever had. They act like you are there to kiss their arses. Would never recommend this zoo to anyone More
I was looking for a very particularly equipped F150 and was going to order if I had to, But Josh (sales Manager) took his time to ask the right questions and found that one was already on order equipped th was going to order if I had to, But Josh (sales Manager) took his time to ask the right questions and found that one was already on order equipped the way I wanted it. Living in Alaska it takes a while to get stuff, but Josh checked in with me every week to let me know the shipping /delivery status. The price for he gave me was fair (7250 below msrp) time spent at the dealership was only 3 hours. More
First off -they staff at Cal was friendly and helpfull. My issue is with the regional manager and Ford -not this dealership. There is no escalation path for warranty issues and Ford is so quick to dismiss my warranty claim. Purchased 2011 F250 XLT SD and after ~48000 miles I am having issues with DEF (Diesel Exhaust Fluid) contamination. Purchased the Extended Warranty with vehicle to include servicing the DEF fluid so all service to the DEF tank was performed by Ford. Truck is in Ford shop and they want me to pay +$2400.00 for the repair stating that the DEF system is contaminated. I never touched the DEF tank as it (including filling it up) is covered under the extended warranty. Drew a sample of the DEF fluid in the tank and there is no contamination. Ford does not want to see the sample. Error codes (prior to bringing in the truck) do not indicate any problem with the DEF system. Truck never called out the DEF system until it was brought into the shop (no limp mode/idle mode). Rubber seal on DEF tank swelled up as did the feeder tube. Ford will not pursue this under warranty even though though the DEF fluid is not showing any contamination. One would think that Ford would be interested in feedback from its customers and further testing of a potential design flaw but that is not the case. Still waiting on feedback from Kendal as to if they will resolve this. Location: Anchorage, Alaska Serviced by: Cal Worthington Ford Purchased at: Kendal Ford of Wasilla More
I was repeatedly given a false expectation of how long repairs would take and the assistant did not seem to understand or care. I don't mind waiting for car repairs but I don't think it's too much to ask repairs would take and the assistant did not seem to understand or care. I don't mind waiting for car repairs but I don't think it's too much to ask to be given a reasonable ball park amount of time for how long it will take. Rather than apologizing or even just acknowledging my frustration, he made repeated excuses and justifications and finally ended up denying what he had initially told me. I really do hope the phone calls I made were recorded for quality assurance so that employees will learn from this mistake and customer service will improve. More

This dealership caused a domino effect of problems to my car, all because they plugged in a wire on my auto-dimming rear view mirror, which caused my headlights to stay on. Afterwhich, they decided my funct car, all because they plugged in a wire on my auto-dimming rear view mirror, which caused my headlights to stay on. Afterwhich, they decided my functional working directional needed to be replaced. Which didn't solve the problem - we told them to unplug the wire they plugged in. (A wire that is noted not to be plugged in, as it will cause this issue - I discovered on the manufacturer for FORD website). They scratched my dashboard, continued to cause problems. I switched dealerships, which was no better - Nye broke my windsheild - do yourself a favor - Don't buy a Ford, the headaches that come later for items covered under warranty aren't worth it!!! Fed up and grew up with Fords. No more! More
