Don't trust their inspections on used cars Traded my 2004 Dodge Diesel Ram 2500 with 215k miles for a 2012 Nissan Rogue with 58k miles. Felt the trade in value was too low. Finally, settled at Traded my 2004 Dodge Diesel Ram 2500 with 215k miles for a 2012 Nissan Rogue with 58k miles. Felt the trade in value was too low. Finally, settled at $9500 trade in value for the amount of miles and repairs that I stated up front. I did not hide any details. My salesman told me and my wife that the Nissan passed a 120 point inspection. We test drove the car twice and did not notice any problems. We completed the deal on 7-20-16. I signed all the paperwork, and retrospectively I shouldn't have signed the “sold as is” on the Nissan. Here is why: The next day I started to hear a different noise from the front of the car during a cold start and also in slow acceleration. After a minute, the noise would go away. Five days later, I became more concerned that this noise was transmission related. I checked the transmission dip stick and couldn't detect a single drop of oil on the dip stick. I called my salesman immediately to make sure my complaint was known, and asked for answers. I took my Nissan to Dave's Quick Lube in Nampa, two technicians inspected and detected no leaks, but verified the transmission had little to no oil. Filled the transmission full, and then the next day the oil leaks showed up. Took the Nissan to Bronco Motors next door to Edmark because at this point I wouldn't trust Edmark to know how to check the transmission oil or even how to check air in a tire. They have shown that they didn't fully inspect the vehicle as stated by the salesman. The leaks were never found by them, either because of poor quality inspection, or because they never filled up the fluids to see if there was a leak. Can't have a leak if it's empty. After spending several weeks trying to come to a resolution, I finally had to take matters in to my own hands, get written statements for the Quick Lube employees, and then demand some sort service recovery. The used car Manager finally apologized for my troubles, said he would cut me a check for a full transmission service cost at the 100k mile mark to be performed at Bronco Motors (Good thing because I couldn't and wouldn't trust Edmark to do any quality work). I was going to give Edmark a 2 star rating for some sort of service recovery, but on the day I was told to come pick up my check, it wasn't ready. Mind you, I didn't show up bright and early, this was a little after 1:00 PM, I was then told to come back once again after 3:30 PM and then the check would be ready. So after making an additional trip, I finally received the check. I decided that any place that can screw up service recovery attempt isn't worth even a 1 star rating. I picked up the check on 8-12-16. It took that long to settle this. In hind sight, never buy a used car from Edmark. If you do, have your own certified mechanic inspect it or at the very least check the fluid levels yourself. Never buy a car without some sort of 30 day guarantee. After all, Peterson and many other car dealers will cover their cars with a warranty because they truly know their cars have been inspected. Buyer beware! Oh, and they are still making a killing on the deal even after all of this, they have my truck listed for $21,000…makes you wonder if they truly did all of the repairs that I told them needed to be done. Makes me sick in my gut knowing someone is going to buy that truck and still be in it for another $5000 in repairs. So sorry to the person who makes that deal with Edmark. More

Got out and a young kid directed me to the service desk. Cool. No one looked up or greeted me and I'm not even sensitive. So I stood there and attempted mental telepathy which only caused the bald guys head to wrinkle a little. So not knowing how to communicate I left. So I got great customer service at Einstein Oilery. 8/10/2016 Edmark Chevy. More

My wife met and talked to Jason - "The Salesman". Even before they looked at the car, he asked about monthly payment we were looking at, a very reasonable number was given and he flat out said that his cars were "too-much money for someone like you". The car we were looking at was around $27,000, not sure how this guy knows about our finances without even picking up a pen, seems like he has NO INTEREST in selling cars. I have shopped at Edmark in the past, but will not again if the Salespeople are like this now, this guy was very RUDE and DISRESPECTFUL. More

Worst permanent damage from Edmark / Nampa 11 decal letters. Detail shop can't remove glue marks on tailgate. Sale was fine but now follow-up details badly lacking. Probably out $300-500 for paint job after spending $110 on detail shop.very disappointed. John B More

The experience started out ok and the time from start to finish was not to bad. we put $4,000 down and we owned our new family Yukon until we went to use the DVD player, that was a big part of the decision making. We got home and noticed it didnt work and thats when the total kaos began. The salesman who lived around the corner picked up the vehicle at our home and deove it to the dealership to investigate and resolve the problem. Needless to say 5 days later we still dont have the vehicle we paid for and a whole lot of dishonest run around and many different stories about what is going to happen or not. I wanted my money back and wanted to get another vehicle possibly. I was hung up on by the sales associate. I was told thru many texts that is is being resolved parts are coming and it will all be ok and the car would be returned no later than Saturday May 14th. No call no vehicle. The story continues as it was to be detailed because it was not and to recieve a special Xzylion coating, five days later the vehicle still has not had either of these things done. We could of had our vehicle the whole time to drive as it is something we paid for. Lastly my wife finally called and talked to a manager about our situation and nobody knew anything about it nor had they been informed of our situation until our phone call today. Really upsetting that we have been treated this way for nothing of our own doing except for putting trust in a reputable dealership we thought. NOT THE CASE AT ALL. I WOULD NOT RECOMEND THIS DEALESHIP TO ANY ONE. TO MANY SECRETS. This has been a very bad experience and is still is not resolved I will be doing an edit to this review to let everyone know the out come when we show up on Monday morning to talk to the bosses hopefully a resolution will be the 2nd part. Very unsatisfied buyer to put it lightly this is the nice story of what I rrally wanted to say. Mr. K. Shannon More

I've bought my last 2 vehicles at Edmark! After shopping our local area - the Treasure Valley, we had a wonderful experience with Tim Laming and Tim Crowley at Edmark Superstore. Our adve After shopping our local area - the Treasure Valley, we had a wonderful experience with Tim Laming and Tim Crowley at Edmark Superstore. Our adventure in car buying didn't start with Edmark. We first went to Petersons, and a salesman made us feel like we didn't know how to browse vehicles online after we didnt express interest in their current inventory. He insinuated we had wasted his time. We were incredibly put off and left immediately. After leaving Petersons, we went next door to Edmark. They helped us into our first vehicle even though my wife and I were in our first year of self employment and had little to prove in terms of income. 1 year later I purchased an additional vehicle. Very happy with Edmark's service department as well, Craig is a hoot! Thank you Edmark! More
Very disappointed! Normally we have had the best of service with Edmark and over the span of 15 years have bought serval cars, but this year was a total disappointment. Normally we have had the best of service with Edmark and over the span of 15 years have bought serval cars, but this year was a total disappointment. We purchased our daughter a Kia Soul. The car is great however the communication with our sales person very poor. We assumed that a spare tire and jack comes standard with the car we were never told this was an add on option! Our poor daughter is stranded on a busy hwy with a blow out, we call roadside assistance from our insurance company and low and behold no spare tire no jack? I call Edmark and I was just so disappointed that they weren't even willing to offer so much as a free oil change for their lack of communication. Please tell customers that spare tires and jacks are not standard anymore! Had we had known we would have purchased the option and spared our daughter the 4 hours it took to get help! Sometimes dealerships get so big your just another face in the crowd. I think we will look else where when buying another new car More
