I purchased a car from Edmark Superstore 2/26/2006. When I purchased my car they offered me the extended warranty. I was not going to purchase it since my car still had a factory warranty on it up to 50,000 More

I purchase a vehicle from Edmark in 2004 as well as the extended warranty that was 100% refundable if the warranty was never used in 6 years or 75,000 miles. I never used it and was way under 75,000 miles More

We have researched this situation and we know Mr Lee claims that he purchased a Signet policy on his warranty but there is no evidence that he was ever charged for this additional insurance or that he ever requested it. Signet is a third party insurance company that offers to refund the full price of the warranty if the customer never uses the extended warranty during the coverage period. If Mr Lee had purchased Signet, he would have signed for it when he signed his other financial paperwork to buy his vehicle and he would have been given a carbon copy of that paperwork. The original would have been sent to Signet and we would have kept a copy in his file here at the store. We looked through the purchase file here and there is no paperwork from a Signet policy purchase, we also contacted Signet and they have no record of this ever being purchased either. We have done everything we can in this situation. Thank you for your feedback.

No hassle, lowest price, under blue book retail and just a little above trade in value... They are not afraid to show you the blue book value, trade in, retail etc. I didn't feel pressured, nice environment More

I read this review and was surprised by some of the things that were said. I want to share our business philosophy and invite you to please contact us again, we are not anything like what you portrayed in your review. I am not Ben, the person you said you dealt with, (actually Ben hasn't worked here for the last several years) so I can't testify to exactly what was said at that time but I do know that we don't change pricing based on customer interest. All of our prices are set based on market supply and demand and the age of the inventory. Pricing will change as the vehicle ages and as factory incentives change but we never change it on a customer by customer basis. I apologize if you were given incorrect information at the time that you contacted us. Also, our salespeople are not even paid commission based on the type or price of the vehicle you buy, we do this to remove the incentive for our sales staff to push a customer into a decision that isn't the best one. Once again, I am not personally familiar with exactly what happened in your situation but I do know that the Edmark you described is nothing like the Edmark where I come to work everyday. I welcome you to call me, any time at 208 466-6000 (ask for Gene) I hope you will and please give us the opportunity again to earn you as a customer. I think you will be pleasantly surprised.
