Never Thought I'd Drive a Truck! I'll admit it. I'm a high-maintenance-from-the-big-city-gal. I've owned a few Lexus sedans and SUVs, as well as a large BMW sedan (750Li ... black on I'll admit it. I've owned a few Lexus sedans and SUVs, as well as a large BMW sedan (750Li ... black on black ... yes, that was a sweet ride and always a great valet experience). The luxury vehicles rode as smooth as glass, had all the bells and whistles you can imagine (and then some), and were great on mpg (the BMW V8, not so much). That said, I never imagined I'd own a truck. For that matter, I never imagined I've live in the Texas Hill Country. But here I am after a lifetime in the big bad city of Houston, enjoying life in God's country. Kerrville. Thank you, Chrissy Garcia, for helping us find a truck (yes, I'm driving a truck!) that meets our needs and works easily within our budget. We're looking to purchase a horse trailer and a horse soon, and our new F-150 XLT with 3.5L Ecoboost and the 157" wheelbase is made to haul like 12,200 pounds or something like that, so we're all set! We can't wait to use the trailer backup/hook-up camera (or whatever you call it). Yet, another whistle to blow. We love our new Ford and feel like we're starting to fit into our new community.
