Wow, I’ve never done this before but, I am now because I just had the easiest and one of the best car buying experiences in my life…and I’m old. The salesman we worked with, Cory Hendry was warm, personabl just had the easiest and one of the best car buying experiences in my life…and I’m old. The salesman we worked with, Cory Hendry was warm, personable, knowledgable and very focused on our experience as well as a bundle of positive energy. The finance manager made what is usually stressful to me, enjoyable. He too, knows his business. Both of them were professional and welcoming. I live in Upstate New York so it was a 4-hour drive for me, I can tell you it was well worth the drive. Talked with Cory on a Wednesday, I made the decision to buy the C40 on Thursday and drove it home that Friday. Cory made the deal happen for my wife and I at a price point that was just outstanding! Derek took care of all the financial side and everyone at the dealership was just awesome, (Thanks to Steve as well). This was such a smooth transaction and if you don't consider this dealership, you're missing an awesome opportunity with a great staff that really cares about their customers. My only regret is that I didn't know about Ken Pollock Volvo cars earlier in my life. Thank you for making this happen for me, I got the perfect car, at the perfect price and had one of the best experiences I have ever had with the nicest, most professional dealership I have ever dealt with. If you’re looking for the experience of a traditional dealership, KP Volvo is fine. If you’re looking for a traditional Volvo dealership experience, this place completely misses the mark. I was visiti dealership, KP Volvo is fine. If you’re looking for a traditional Volvo dealership experience, this place completely misses the mark. I was visiting family, and got a blowout on our 3.5 week old car. We towed the car to Ken Pollock, the closest Volvo dealer. They tried to push us off to just change the tire and send us on our way, and sounded annoyed when I said we’d like the damage to our rim fixed as well. I also asked if they can do anything about the scratches on the car from the rubber hitting it when the tire practically exploded. I was told our car is too dirty with salt to assess damage, and even if there are scratches, they’re not a body shop. (Yet, I would think that’s what their collision center is?) I asked them to wash it, regardless of cost, and they said they’d do it for free. They called back and said the rest of the car looks great, no scratches. When we got the car back, the entire front end was covered in surface scratches, and it didn’t even look like they hosed it off, let alone washed it. Fast forward 2 weeks, the paint is already chipping off of the rim. They never actually resurfaced the rim, and just slapped a coat of paint on it. We took the car to our local dealer to get corrected. Our cosmetic warranty won’t cover the cost to correct it since the work should still be guaranteed by Ken Pollock, (Though, I’m not driving 3 hours each way for the quality of work they did) and on further inspection, found out our rear rim is also bent. Ken Pollock either missed it or never performed a proper inspection on our vehicle, and put us back on the road with a damaged wheel. Our dealership was also able to buff our most of the scratches We’re loyal to Volvo, because we always get much better than your standard care. However, that wasn’t the case here. When I lived in PA, I loved the care that Ken Pollock Nissan always gave me. They’ve either gone down hill or the sentiment hasn’t transferred to their Volvo arm. More
