The dealer's service team is one of the very careless, very inexperienced and very inexpert, with no advanced knowledge about electrical wiring and mechanic. Past experience includes scratched vehicle su very inexperienced and very inexpert, with no advanced knowledge about electrical wiring and mechanic. Past experience includes scratched vehicle surface, missing tire caps, and etc. The latest, a flying window sealing rubber. (1) On Oct 8, 2022, I picked my vehicle at Dublin Honda. After driving some distance I noticed from the mirror that the window sealing rubber flying beside the window. So I drove back immediately to Dublin Honda. I found the sealing rubber was totally torn off by the automatic car washing machine. So with anger, there was a hot quarrel between the service manager (a black man) and I. The service manager declined to repair and called in the police, saying "We are done!", "Please go!" So I left. My payment of $428+ is NOT for a bad and careless routine maintenance job like this. (2) A lot of bad past experience with Ken Harvey's Dublin Honda. The most egregious thing that happened to me is that they messed up with the electrical wiring of my Honda Odyssey 2012-2013 when they changed the cylinder for the engine, making many lights on my vehicle dashboard behave weirdly. Honda Odyssey of this particular year had a manufacturing problem with one of the engine cylinders. The manufacturer called the vehicle back to have the cylinders replaced. So I brought my vehicle to this dealer in 2021. After they changed the engine, I found I could not listen to the radio or the CD anymore because it always asked me to enter a passcode which I did not even remember. So I went back to the dealer about 6 months later. But since then many lights on the dashboard started to behave weirdly. The Check Engine Light went on and off cyclically for no reason: The light went on for an uncertain period of time like 1 or 2 weeks and then off for another uncertain period of time like 3 or 4 weeks, the Maintenance Light was on and then off before the maintenance was done, and back on again. The status of the Tire Pressure Light seems to have an influence on the status of the Check Engine Light: The Check Engine Light is more likely to be on when the Tire Pressure Light or the TPMS light is on. Sometimes a sharp turn in vehicle direction or acceleration /deceleration could trigger the Check Engine Light to be on. All these seems to me there is an electrical wiring problem with the vehicle that was introduced when they replaced the engine cylinder: either some wrong wire attached to the wrong device or wrong sensor, or there is contact failure, cut wires or short circuits somewhere. On Oct 7, 2022, I brought my vehicle to this dealer to do a diagnosis. They quickly concluded that the catalytic converter is broken and need to be changed (the price would be in thousands). Of course I had serious doubt about the conclusion of this diagnosis because: (1) it does not answer why other lights on the vehicle dashboard also goes on and off cyclically like the Check Engine Light; and (2) it also does not answer why it works sometime but does not work other time (Check Engine Light goes on and off cyclically). In my opinion, the dealer messed up with the electrical wiring when they changed the engine cylinder last year, and they just don't want to check and redo the wiring because it will take them too much time and labor to correct a huge mistake they made. In my view, the dealer can only do simple works like routine vehicle maintenance; they don't have the expertise and knowledge to do complex and advanced work: they just screwed up your vehicle. So if you have a complex job that needs expertise, avoid Ken Harvey's Dublin Honda. Even if it is a simple routine maintenance, you need pay close attention to minor things like missing tire caps, off window sealing rubbers or scratched surface. You can boast to people how nice you are, but when things go bad or poisonous and your attitude is like this, you do not deserve even 1 star, or even to be in business. More
If I could give zero star I would have! Please do not trust Dublin Honda sales or service! Wais the salesman is a manipulative lier! Very racist and NOT PROFESSIONAL AT ALL! NO ONE AT THIS DEALER IS PROF trust Dublin Honda sales or service! Wais the salesman is a manipulative lier! Very racist and NOT PROFESSIONAL AT ALL! NO ONE AT THIS DEALER IS PROFESSIONAL OR HONEST! THEY WILL LIE AT ANY COST! THEY SOLD ME A DEFECTIVE USED “CERTIFIED” HONDA PILOT EVEN THO THEY WERE AWARE OF THE CAR ISSUES. CERTIFIED VEHICLES SHOULD NOT HAVE ANY ISSUES BCUZ THE FACT THAT ITS BEEN CERTIFIED! THEY SOLD ME CAR WITH BROKEN WINDSHIELD! HE RUSHED ME THROUGH THE INSPECTION PROCESS AND IT WAS DARK IN WINTER NIGHTS! HE ALSO RUSHED ME THROUGH THE SIGNING PROCESS AND LITERALLY PULLED AWAY THE CARFAX FROM UNDER MY HANDS AND SAID I DON’T HAVE TIME FOR YOU TO READ THIS NOW, YOU CAN TAKE IT HOME AND READ IT! WHEN THE PURPOSE OF CARFAX IS TO READ IT BEFORE YOU SIGN THE DEAL JUST IN CASE YOU SEE SOMETHING ON THE CARFAX THAT YOU DONT AGREE WITH! IN ANY CASE THE CAR FAC DID NOT REPORT ANY ACCIDENTS BUT THE CAR WAS CLEARLY IN AN ACCIDENT SO THE NEXT DAY WHEN I DID SEE THE WINDSHIELD I THOUGHT MY CAR HAD BEEN VANDALIZED OVER NIGHT. SO I TOOK MY CAR TO FREMONT HONDA. AFTER THOROUGH INSPECTION I FOUND OUT THAT THE CAR HAD BEEN IN AN ACCIDENT AND THE WINDSHIELD WASN'T THE ONLY THING BROKEN! THIS SIDE MERROR, THE FRONT BUMPER AND THE BACK BUMPER WAS BROKEN! THERE WAS EVEN YELLOW PAIN ON THE FRONT BUMPER FROM WHATEVER THE CAR HAD HIT! HONDA FREMONT SUGGESTED I SHOULD TAKE CAR BACK TO DUBLIN HONDA SERIVE OR PAY TO FIX IT OUT OF MY POCKET EVEN THOUGH WAIS AND THE FINANCE GUY MADE ME PURCHASE EXTENDED WARRANTY! I WENT BACK TO DUBLIN HONDA AND I WAS SURPRISED TO GET THE TREATMENT THAT I DID! WAIS DIDN'T EVEN COME OUT TO SPEAK TO ME, THE MANAGER WAS LIKE YOU SIGNED THE PAPERS THERES NOTHING WE CAN DO! KEN THE OWNER SAID HE WILL GET BACK TO ME NEVER CALLED BACK! SEVERAL SAYS LATER I WENT BACK ASK FOR MANAGER LOUIS CAME OUT TOLD ME HE WILL CALL ME BACK NEVER HEARD FTOM HIM! I CALLED AGAIN THIS TIME LOUIS TOLD ME I SHOULD LEAVE THE CAR FOR INSPECTION WITH SERVICER OVER NIGHT FOR INSPECTION. I LEFT MY CAR WITH SERVICE. I NEVER GOT A CALL BACK THE NEXT DAY LIKE I WAS SUPPOSED TO. SO I CALLED TO GET THE SATUS AFTER SEVERAL HOURS OF WAITING THEY FINALLY CALLED ME BACK AND SAID THEY WOULD REPLACE THE WINDSHIELD BUT I WOULD HAVE TO PAY OUT OF POCKET! BCUZ IT WAS A USED CAR! WTH?! EVEN THO IT WAS CERTIFIED!!! THEN I WENT TO PICK UP MY CAR I NOTICED IT WAS DRIVIN 18 MILES! I ASKED WHY IT WAS DRIVEN 18 WHEN IT WAS THE WINDSHIELD ISSUE AND DID NOT NEEDED TO BE TEST DRIVE? THE TECHNICIAN WAS AS SURPRISED AS I WAS HE AGREED THAT IT DIDN'T NEEDED TEST DRIVE FIR WINDSHIELD INSPECTION. AND IT SHOULDN'T HAVE BEEN DRIVEN! HE GOT THE MANGER AND THE MANGER WAS EXTREMELY RUDE AND SAID WE HAVE TO TEST DRIVE CARS ! WHAT? WHY WOULD YOU NEED TO TEST DRIVE A CAR FOR A BROKEN WINDSHIELD AND 18 MILES?! NOT 2 MILES OR 5 MILES BUT YOU HAD TO DRIVE IT 18 MILES?! ANYHOW NO EXPLANATION AND HE JUST HANDED ME HIS BUSINESS CARD AND SAID HE IS BUSY IF I HAVE ANY OTHER QUESTIONS I CAN EMAIL HIM! DURING THE SAME TIME THE CAR’S AUTO TURN ON AND OFF TO SAVE GAS WASN’T WORKING EITHER I HAD TO PAY $200 TO GET A DIAGNOSIS AT THE END FREMONT HONDA TOLD ME THERE WAS NOTHING WRONG WITH IT. EVEN THO ITS NOT TURNING OFF WHEN IT IS SUPPOSED TO! AND MIND YOU I PAID $34000 CASH FOR A 2017 PILOT TOURING! PLUS ANOTHER $200 FOR DIAGNOSIS! SO PLEASE DO NOT TRUST DUBLIN HONDA SALES ,SERVICE OR ANY OF THE MANGERS SPECIALLY THE OWNER KENNETH! OR THE BALLED WHITE GUY WHO WAS EVEN MORE RACIST THAN WAIS! YOU MAY SEE DIFFERENT ETHNICITIES WORKING THERE BUT THAT DOESN'T MEAN THAT THEY ARE NOT RACIST! More

I will never bring my car back here again, they lied to me about the safety of my car and tried to scam me out of hundreds of dollars. I brought my car in for a typical service, A13 which, among a few othe me about the safety of my car and tried to scam me out of hundreds of dollars. I brought my car in for a typical service, A13 which, among a few other things, is a transmission fluid change and an oil change. In total, the cost for this service was $250, which is already too expensive for the service they provided. I made an appointment for 2 pm, and brought it in. The man at the service counter casually said that the tech would message me when they started the service THE NEXT DAY. There was no indication on the website that I made the appointment on that it would take such a long time. I have no idea why they needed to keep my car overnight for something so simple, and his casual expectation for me to be ok with it was incredibly manipulative. I tried contacting the service department a few times because I was worried I wouldn't have my car back in time to commute to work the following day. They got back to my 3rd message in the afternoon of the next day (it took two texts and one voicemail). I was sent a list of repairs that were 'critical safety' repairs, including replacing my brakes. The tech said that they were completely worn down to the service limit in the front and the rear and wanted to charge me $750 to replace them. The service advisor indicated that I was unsafe and that my car would sustain substantial damage if I didn't take care of it immediately. I told the service advisor that I was going to replace the brakes with a family friend, because the price they quoted me was too expensive, and he seemed very concerned when I said that. When I replaced the brakes myself a few days later, the brakes were fine and still had PLENTY left, many millimeters more than what they said; in fact the rear brakes seemed especially fine. This was overall a terrible experience, and they TRIED TO SCAM ME FOR HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS. They also said that there was a fluid leak that would cost $790 to fix, but I genuinely do not trust this to be factual. I will never be coming back and am more than happy to pass this along so that others also do not take their cars to be serviced here. More
The General Manager Jim Bailey of Ken Harvey Dublin Honda is unwilling to take responsibility for a service technician mistake even when presented with the evidence that his service department made the erro is unwilling to take responsibility for a service technician mistake even when presented with the evidence that his service department made the error. He wanted to negotiate an outcome where I paid 50% of the damage costs. That is the shadiest practice I have ever experienced at a dealer in the history of my car ownership. And this involved the brakes in my teenagers car. Just dispicable! More

There is a valid reason why they only get 1.4 stars. Please check out my review on Google. Sales :I was looking for a pre-owned vehicle depending Sales : I was looking for a pre-owned vehicle depending on my budget and after searching around for sometime i decided to purchase it from Honda for Sales : I was looking for a pre-owned vehicle depending on my budget and after searching around for sometime i decided to purchase it from Honda for obvious reason of trust and service, so i bought 2012 Civic in 2012 for a hefty amount compared to Individual buyers, and guess what within 2 days i had to claim insurance to change Engine Harness wires. (Reason was given by dealer that some animal may have cut the wire), It was a hassle for me and cost me out of pocket for Insurance ~1000. Service : So in order to make sure that i do not indulge into other issue, i decided to service at Honda Dublin. All the repairs like Engine Harness, oil changes and other services were done at Dublin Honda. Now after B14 service paying almost 800 bucks, they messed up my Oil can threads and asking for another ~800 bucks! Also they don't bother about customers. I extremely had a very bad Honda car owner experience at Dublin Honda in last 3-4 years. Dont have less start rating than this. I hope that helps to others before going to Dublin Honda. Please dont waste your time visiting at this Franchise. Honda lost one customer! More
