HORRIBLE BAIT AND SWITCH!!! CROOKS WITH DISHONEST BUSINESSES PRACTICES My son went to buy a Ford Mustang, was told he had the car but needed a co-signer so I agreed to co-sign. I sent my informatio BUSINESSES PRACTICES My son went to buy a Ford Mustang, was told he had the car but needed a co-signer so I agreed to co-sign. I sent my information over after making it very clear I did not want to be primary carrier on the loan. Couple of days pass and he goes to pick up the car and is made to wait hours. When he’s finally helped he’s told that he isn’t ANYWHERE on the loan and that the loan is in my name only. This is AFTER he has given a 1500 deposit and traded in his old car. We were both totally blindsided by this news but I waited at home, to get emailed some sort of paperwork or contract to sign but didn’t get anything from the dealership. Next thing I know, my son shows up with the car, driving on dealership plates and I’m told that the dealership instructed him to tell me that if “anyone asks the car is mine” I waited for two days and was not contacted by the dealership to sign any contracts and I decided I was uncomfortable with the way the deal had been done and I told my son to take the car back. It was a Sunday so he took it back the next day. The dealership kept $640.00 of my sons deposit and refused to give it back even though they knew full well he was driving the car, with their permission on dealer plates and neither of us had signed any contracts. Further, I don’t think they had any financing in place because as of today I have received 4 letters of rejection from various financial institutions saying they would not finance me for the car. This seems like quite an obvious ploy to lure people in and keep part or all of their deposit and or trade and do it over and over on the same car when the financing “falls through.” I am so disappointed and disgusted which is why I just recently purchased a car with Carvana. Amazing and effortless experience with 100 transparency along the way. Do yourself a favor, steer clear of this dealership AT ALL COSTS. More
The MOST horrible experience ever! Every time we come in here to get our company trucks serviced, the customer service all the way to the shop managers are a joke!!!! Could not find our apt, promised a tru here to get our company trucks serviced, the customer service all the way to the shop managers are a joke!!!! Could not find our apt, promised a truck while ours was being serviced, the service manager never shows up. People do not acknowledge you and the list goes on. All the while we have people on payroll waiting for us, clients of ours expecting us and etc. I guess they truly don’t live up to their billboards.....a listen ear, we are different then them. What a joke!!! Chad the sales manager is a joke as well and should not be on that role as a leader. It is obvious the training on CS is a joke!!! Thanks, Custom grounds. More

The payoff amount was a gua I went in to pay off a lease purchase which was pre-determined by ford motor credit at the original signing of the lease. The payoff amount was a guaranteed set payoff. Ken Garff Ford manipulated and attempted to adjust or inflate that price. I disputed the amount with the finance officer who said they could change or adjust the amount. I left, called Ford Credit who told me that Ken Garff could not increase or change the price. . Ford Credit called Ken Garff Ford West Valley and advised 3 people they are not allowed to do that. One was the sales person the other the finance officer and also the sales manager. I went to LHM: who I called and they told me they would write the truck sales offer up for the lease end agreement price. Don't trust Austin Mays at Ken Garff in West Valley. Don't trust or rely on Ken Garff Ford for any vehicle purchase. Complete crooks. More
The Best Experience buying a vehicle in 30 years! I’d like to say, We have bought numerous cars over the last 30 years every make and every model you can think of. Buying cars in the past has always I’d like to say, We have bought numerous cars over the last 30 years every make and every model you can think of. Buying cars in the past has always felt burdensome, exhausting and sometimes annoying. Our experience this time wasn’t painful at all...in fact it was a pleasant experience maybe even fun. We already had financing approval and told the salesman, this is what I want....he delivered. One inquiry on my credit, Not 7-8 or 10. Just 1, the one we chose. Then the finance office was even better! Thanks for the best experience ever! More

A number of employees have also tried to strive for good experience. I just noticed though that the 7 conductor hitch wiring is missing part of wiring it needs. (Installed as part of buying truck) I had some concerns when picking up the truck a couple days after paying for it because cleaning induced engine problem. I would have liked to have had the opportunity to consider the 3 day exchange period, and I brought it up the morning after I picked it up. The issue giving me the most grief is the extended warranty. I was persuaded it would be a good idea, and not very long afterwards had some problems, and service center found more than one problem for about 2500-3000. Guess how much warranty program would cover, less than 25%. (has to be at dealership, if in SLC area, 45 day and 1000 mile waiting period) Cost of warranty is more than 3500 with tax, about a third of cost of truck. I am STILL waiting for dealership to give me a refund as I cancelled warranty unused about 6+ weeks ago...... More
Lily was awesome! I live 300 miles from the dealership, so i had to do everything by phone and texting. Lily was a fantastic salesperson and answered all of my question I live 300 miles from the dealership, so i had to do everything by phone and texting. Lily was a fantastic salesperson and answered all of my questions very quickly and accurately. All of the paperwork was fedexed back and forth at no expense to me and she made it very easy to complete this purchase. I would highly recommend them. I had my car within a week and it was even delivered in an enclosed trailer. It was on empty when it was delivered, but a check for $50 was in the mail the next day. All in all I am extremely happy with my purchase! More
Missing Body Parts Purchased a new RV on a Ford Chassis and 2 oval rubber plugs were missing on the door frame. This was a NEW RV (2018) so you know how expensive that Purchased a new RV on a Ford Chassis and 2 oval rubber plugs were missing on the door frame. This was a NEW RV (2018) so you know how expensive that was. So I have visited 3 Ford dealers one being Ken Garff Ford in West Valley, Utah. The oval plug is about 1 inch in diameter. Parts said that each plug will cost me $2.13 but I have to order 10 minimum even though I only have 2 doors and both were missing. So I asked since the chassis has a bumper to bumper warranty from the factory would this be covered? She said "yes, probably" but I would need to go through their Service Department. So I did but they would need to get it approved by management which will take about a week then I will need to drive my RV to their service department to have a technician put the 2 plugs in. It will take less that a minute to install them but the manual says 2 hours. I cannot believe what I was hearing! This is a Ford Bumper to Bumper warranty you pay for when you purchase a new Ford. Then they wonder why people are buying Toyota's. DUH! More

Especially with the recent experiences with other local dealerships. They found us our dream vehicle, made it a great experience. When it came time to the numbers, they were extremely transparent, truly gave us top dollar for our trade. Our salesman really went to bat for us and got us the lowest payment and intrest rate possible. Definitely would recommend them to anyone as they have gained a life time customer. More
