I truly apologize for the poor experience you had at Henry Day Ford. Customer satisfaction is something Henry Day Ford takes great pride in. Even though we were not able to provide you with brand new tires as desired, I would like to assure you the actions you described of my employees are not a regular practice within my company and I have spoken personally with each individual involved. At Henry Day Ford we have eliminated the price negotiating that is common at most dealerships and have provided our guests with our lowest discounted price right up front. We never like to lose a deal because of a couple hundred dollars or in this case a couple of tires, however, with our “bottom line pricing” there are unfortunately some cases where we have no room in a vehicle to add things with no additional cost. However, it is standard that Henry Day Ford completes an extensive 100-point inspection performed by a certified Ford technician as well as a safety and emissions test. This is why I was concerned you felt like the vehicle needed new tires so I did some research and confirmed this vehicle did in fact pass safety and emissions. So although you felt like these tires needed to be replaced I am happy to inform you that Henry Day Ford did everything within our guidelines to ensure this vehicle was safe with reliable tires. In addition to a certified inspection Henry Day Ford also provides a Worry Free Guarantee on all our pre-owned vehicles. Depending on the vehicles year and miles each vehicle is provided with a Platinum, Gold, Silver or Limited Care warranty. In this particular case I believe your parents were looking at a 2007 vehicle with less than 75,000 miles that had our Gold Worry Free Guarantee which includes a lifetime engine warranty, a 3 day/300 mile money back guarantee, 7 day/700 mile exchange promise, 100 point inspection, vehicle history report, lube, oil & filter and a detail. Henry Day Ford provides these guarantees to give our guests peace of mind and to show them that we care. To provide further confidence with Henry Day Ford I would like to also add that Henry Day Ford is a Better Business Bureau Accredited Business and maintains an A+ grade through the Better Business Bureau. The grade represents BBB’s degree of confidence that we are operating in a trustworthy manner and will make a good faith effort to resolve any customer concerns filed with BBB.
