This is the 5th vehicle we have purchased from Henry Day in the last 6 years (including our daughter's purchase). Each time everyone we have worked with has been very friendly and efficient. We have found Daryl, Dave, and Roy to be extremely honest in their dealings with us. When we looked at the truck that we purchased it had the manufactures floor mats in it that were in excellent condition (these were expensive mats that covered the floor of the mega cab in both the front and back. When we picked up the truck they had been replaced with cheep after market mats that do not cover even a 4th of the back floor area nor do they fit the truck on the drivers side or passenger. I have been pricing the mats that were in the truck they are about 200.00 to 300.00. Then we went out of town, the check filter light came on and my husband removed the filter (it was black) we went into town and purchased a new one, the dealer did refund the money for the filter and took care of some of the other problems with the truck. There was also yellow paint up on the fenders. I really do not think that the truck was detailed and am not sure that the initail inspection of all systems and filters were changed. More
I took my elderly parents car shopping over the weekend. Henry Day was the first place we went, as my parents have purchased cars there before. I can't remember the salesmans name, but he nice. The car had two tires worn to the wear bar and two that we close. My parents told the salesman that she would pay full price for the car if they agreed to put four new tires on it (it wouldnt have even past inspection). The salesman said that they were already losing money on the car and would need to talk to his manager. He also said the tires were in fine condition. The used car manager came over and told us that two of the tires were questionable and two were fine, so we could just go buy two. He also said that that they were already losing money on the car and couldn't afford to give any discount on it. I advised him that in buying a car, my parents could also not afford to take a loss by having to buy new tires right out the gate. He very sarcastically responded "Good to know". I again advised him that we would not pay full price for a used car with bad tires. He said that he would not put tires on it. I said "I guess we are done" and got up to leave. He very sarcastically responded "Sounds great!". I replied "Its great that you aren't selling a car today?" He started to respond but I told him I was done and walked out. While I was loading my parents two walkers back in their van, the sales man and the sales manager followed us out. The sales manager said that he has to pay the same cost for tires through the service department as us and would instead take $300 off the price of the car to go get tires at costco. I told them I was done, that I was upset and the horrible manner in which the used car manager was treating us and that we were leaving. The salesmans reply was that the used car sales manager was young and his attitude should be taken as representative of their company....THEN WHY WAS HE WORKING THERE AND ALLOWED TO DO IT? This was THE WORST experience. I was embarrased for them and will NEVER shop there again. Not only did they allow for an employees poor behavior, they them excused it away as if it was nothing. I've never been treated by a business with such sarcasm and hope to never be treated that way again. I do not recommend this dealer at all. More
Beautiful dealership and friendly staff. They made my appointment the day prior and when i arrived at noon they were ready for me. had my door fixed and I was on my way in 1 hour. MIKE DID A GREAT JOB. VERY NICE DEALERSHIP THIS IS THE SECOND CAR WE HAVE GOT FROM HENRY DAY FORD THE CREDIT DEPERMENT WAS GREAT VERY HONEST AND GAVE US SEVERAL OPTIONS FOR A LOAN. Excellent experience! Mike was very easy to deal with and talk to. Rest of employees (financing, accessories, maintenance) were friendly and helpful. We were from out of state and had some problems with title transfer. The people at the dealership were very helpful in resolving that problem (none of which was their fault). Very thorough in explaining about our options. Hak was extremely knowledgeable about the cars we drove and all the options that come with them. We were taken on a tour of the dealership and introduced to extremely knowledgeable about the cars we drove and all the options that come with them. I did enjoy my expirence working with Hak at Henry Day Ford. The only problems I had as when I didn't get to work with my sales man directly. There was constant mis-comunication with regards to the repair Ford. The only problems I had as when I didn't get to work with my sales man directly. There was constant mis-comunication with regards to the repairs that were expected to be done on my car that caused them to be repaired much later or not at all. Due to this I probably would not consider going back to Henry Day Ford unless I made it clear that I will only work and talk with one person through the entire process to limit the mistakes that were made on my previous visit. More
