A.K. = Rock Star Sales! Saturday, May 3rd, 2014... I just finished working a 9 hour day and my 17 year old son sends me a text, stating we were going to stop and look at a Jeep he found online... imagine my “excitement”! So, off I go to Ken Garff West Valley, to meet my son, in his quest to find the perfect “affordable” vehicle. I arrived before Zach did, parked and sat waiting… as I sat there, A.K. came up to my window and asked if I needed any water… I was impressed with his kick-back approach and we started casually talking about my son. When Zach arrived, A.K. and Zach started talking shop about what Zach was looking for. I was surprised at what a great time I was actually having! This was initially, the last place I wanted to be on a Saturday night and Zach and I were having a blast! A.K. brought around several different Jeeps that we test drove and then Zach found “THE ONE”. A.K. then circled us around to his Office and the paperwork was a breeze… he explained everything in laymen’s terms, without confusing us with all the car biz jargon and before we knew it… we were driving away with Zach’s dream Jeep! It was AWESOME! I have been though the car purchasing routine many times before and NEVER has one been so smooth and straightforward. My husband and I saw an ad online for a 2013 Chevrolet Silverado. We went to the dealership to test drive the truck. During the test drive we noticed that the tire pressure light was on. We did not purcha Silverado. We went to the dealership to test drive the truck. During the test drive we noticed that the tire pressure light was on. We did not purchase the truck that evening as we wanted to look around at other cars but we did inform them that the tire pressure light was on. After visiting several other dealerships and looking at various other cars we decided to purchase the truck we had test driven at Ken Garff. On the day we purchased the truck, we drove it again and the tire pressure light was still on. We informed them that the tire pressure light was on and they told us that they would take care of it while we filled out all the paperwork. When they handed us the keys to the truck they let us know that the tire pressure had been low and they filled it up with air and we were good to go. For three weeks after we purchased the truck the tire pressure light continued to come on so we decided to take it to Big O Tires and have it checked out. Big O Tires found a hole in the side wall of the tire that could not be patched and would have to be replaced. We contacted the dealership to let them know they sold us a truck with a bad tire. The GM told us that he could not replace the tire and we would have to purchase a new one and pay for it out of our own pocket. Their customer service during the whole experience was terrible and I would not do business with them again nor would I recommend this dealership to anyone! More
These guys are great! I bought a brand new 2014 Dodge truck; traded in my old one. They gave me a great deal, I was not upside down on my trade, $0 down and my payments are less then they were. They put a lift on my truck to put my nice tires and rims from my old truck to my new truck. They also put my nerf bars from my old truck onto my new truck. When I drove my truck home, I noticed my truck was shimmyining and when I got out of the truck my nerf bars were a bit loose. I called the dealership when I got home and told them what was happening. They told me to bring my truck in the next morning; they fixed the shimmying and gave me a brand new pair of nerf bars. These guys went out of their way to give me 100% satisfaction. I will definitely make another purchase from them in the future and refer all my friends and family to this dealership!! More
I bought a brand new 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited from Ken Garff West Valley and Matt O. When they sold it to me they seemed very nice and helpful. It also started raining really hard when I bought i from Ken Garff West Valley and Matt O. When they sold it to me they seemed very nice and helpful. It also started raining really hard when I bought it so he made a point to tell me to bring it in anytime to get a car wash. Got through the process in a timely manner and was on my way. After owning the jeep for a week I started to notice some things that needed attention. Called Matt and he told me to bring it on in. I took it in and waited 30 minutes for Matt to show up. After they had me pull around to the detail wash area they had me point out what issues I was having. Showed them where they didn't Armor All on the doors, how there was barcode sticker residue on the rear view mirror and the display on the dash was also smeared with some type of residue. They acted not only put off but unsure how to proceed. After another 20 minutes they gave me a number and I went inside. Waiting for another 40 minutes before my car was taken in to be cleaned and worked on. I walked out and asked if they would put the license plates on for me. They said they could only put on the back one. Another 20 minutes of "washing" they told me it was done. Here I am 110 minutes in and I'm walking to my car. I open the door and to my surprise the car still looks like crap. None of the issues I came in for were taken care of. So I called the guy back over and he seemed appalled that I would even bring up their shoddy workmanship. After he told me that these areas were not for Armor All even though clearly they were, he told me I should have bought the "leather protection package" if I wanted it to shine like when I bought it. My reply was, shouldn't a $50,000 car come with leather protection? His response was, "you should have upgraded to the Overland for another $10,000" The audacity of this guy to say something like that. I am dreading going back for every oil change and tune up because I bought the all inclusive service package. I would never recommend this dealership to anyone after the service I received today. I have never written a review on anything but I figured people need to know about his place before they go and buy from them. More
me and my family tried to get a new vehicle there and i just want to warn you people DO NOT go there to the dealership because they only help you for 5-10 mins then they come back and they deny you. This place is absolutely horrendous. I have gone here in the past because they convinced me that for my Dodge Intrepid, the non-Dealer mechanics did not take care of my car – that the 5 to 6 hour wait, and the past because they convinced me that for my Dodge Intrepid, the non-Dealer mechanics did not take care of my car – that the 5 to 6 hour wait, and double the price was worth the extra service. What a scam. I took my car in to get the window motor repaired about a month ago. Immediately upon arrival, I was sold the oil change + 23 point inspection by the service agent who greeted me at my car door. I told them what I was there for, and they assured me that I would be taken care of. They asked me if I needed a shuttle because there was an expected 6 hour wait time. I said yes. After waiting an hour for the shuttle, and the shuttle driver asking for my phone number to contact me on return to Ken Garff West Valley Dodge, I was taken to my destination. After about 7.5 hours, the Service Agent called me and told me the car was ready – that he would call the shuttle driver to pick me up. After 20 minutes the Shuttle Driver called me and said he was going home, and could not come pick me up. I then called the Dealer, and the shuttle driver called me again, and said he would be out to pick me up in 20 minutes. When I got to the dealer, I was met by a $500+ bill. (The person standing in front of me at the cashier had brought his vehicle in for the afore-mentioned oil change and 23 point inspection – they did the inspection but no oil change????) The next day my engine was dead. I had to take time off work to have my car towed to the Dealer. More time wasted. Since that time, my car’s oil has leaked – everyday – onto my driveway, and the electrical system in the dash sporadically turns off (like it now has a short in the electrical system). I called the dealer one morning the past week and told them what was happening to the electrical system, and the service agent told me, “Without having any warning lights on, it is like looking for a needle in a haystack.” Then silence. No telling me to bring it in to look at it, no nothing – just silence. I said thanks and hung up. I would like to tell anyone thinking about getting service her – just DON’T. There are far better places to go. More
Purchased my 5th vehicle in 5 years. Sergio was again my salesman and was of great help. Always get a good deal without the xx and enjoy dealing with them. I had my car in for service, and when I picked it up I noticed a 2011 Charger. I found Nino and he showed me the car. I called my wife, she came down and fell in love with the car.
