After the purchase as dumb as this sounds everything was a battle from here out. The stars i gave were strictly for the sales (most those people are awesome). My mother worked there even for a couple years, so i knew some of them well. But from day one the service department has been anything but crap. We have been going there for almost 10 years and maybe a couple times during the routine service and maintenance has it been good. Usually the people are pretty nice, until today. Kathy could not even let my wife finish a sentence or ask a question. When we dropped the car we asked for the service and let them know that there has been a bad leak. They informed us there oil change people are qualified to check for that. So we asked who can and they responded service. I thought that service was service? I assumed by us asking to get it looked at they could have it looked at? Apparently not, We have to make an appointment, fine understood. So you have people doing lube services on cars that cant even identify a leak? This is crazy, i mean jiffy lube can do better than that. So this was just the end of a long pain relationship. I feel bad cause I really like one side of Ken Garff but the service has always been garbage. Either from me asking to have the skid plate rinsed out if they are going to drain the oil threw it (like a lazy person would do), to them smashing my wife's bumper on the lot and not saying anything till i noticed pulling out of the lot, they tried to say it was already there and only when i asked to talk to David Tran did someone perk up and ask around and then found out where it had happened. I do not mean this to sound like I just hate this place, but i can almost guaranty it will be a pain every time. For those saying "why would you keep going back than?" We bought this jeep when they did the lifetime power train and to be able to claim this we have to keep up on the services with dodge or it becomes void. So we finally figured out that we can go to salt lake valley dodge and still have it honored. We are actually in the process of buying another new car now and West Valley Ken Garff unfortunately will not be on our stops, simply because of the service department. Honestly i dont think they care, its not like they need our money. Just a warning to all who will be buying vehicles there. -Drew More

They didn't try and play any of the pricing games and was completely I just bought my car from Ken Garff and couldn't be happier with the dealership. They didn't try and play any of the pricing games and was completely transparent with exactly how much I had to pay. Dario was extremely helpful, easy to communicate with, quickly to get back to me and a pleasure to deal with. I bought the car, left my car at their dealership and he even returned my car to the BMW dealership! Trevor in finance was also a pleasure to deal with and he had me sorted in about 20 minutes and out the door. Very impressed with these guys! More

They have no one to look at my van They have had my van for three days, I am pregnant and now I have no way to drive to the hospital if I go into labor. I can not even get home after work today since the shuttle doesn't go to Tooele. They have no cars for me as a loaner. They have no technicians to look at my van for the last three days and none scheduled to look at it today. This is the same issue I had to bring the van into them in June and it is happening again. In June they "fixed" the problem but provided me a loaner car so I could at least get around. Now when it is imperative I have a working car, they can neither get a technician to even look at the van nor provide me anything to drive while they have my van for an unknown amount of time until they can find a technician to look at the van to even tell me how long they will be holding it hostage. I would not recommend their service center. More

However I have experienced my first issue with the car now at 70,000 miles. Since I am dependent on my vehicle every day I made an appointment and scheduled my day accordingly. I dropped the car off at 9am and told them I needed it back by 3:30 to get to an event that evening. At 3:00 I get a call that they haven't even started work on the car to find the Anti-freeze leak. At this point I am asking why I bothered to make an appointment if this is how things are going to go and do they have a car for me...answer is no...seriously?!?! You are dealership and you don't have a car for me??? Later that evening they call...they found the leak, but I can't have my car back until its fixed and now they have a rental for me. So I have been in a rental for a WEEK. Every day its "we are waiting on parts" or the technician is out sick". Today I call the number on my caller ID returning their call only to get routed through a million selections to get to the right dealership and then to service only to have the person on the phone tell me that they don't have record in the computer that my car is in for repairs let alone its status. So basically they have had my car for a week with no record of it??? I finally get a different number to call only to be told they are going to TRY to start on it this afternoon and they will TRY to have it done by the end of the day tomorrow! This is out of hand! I will go anywhere else to have my car serviced in the future! More
