I live in Price and drive 80 plus miles to Ken Garff Nissan where Ricky and the rest of the Ken Garff staff are. It's well worth the drive, time, traffic and energy to go all the way out there to make sure my 2006 Nissan Pathfinder gets the service it needs. They always greet me with a smile and are very pleasant! The dealer provides services and completes it in time as promised. I absolutely recommend this dealership to anyone who wants their Nissan serviced. More
The sales and finance people at Ken Garff Nissan of Orem were GREAT! I've HATED shopping for cars for as long as I can remember because it isn't always a pleasant experience. Paul and B. Wolffe gave us the were GREAT! I've HATED shopping for cars for as long as I can remember because it isn't always a pleasant experience. Paul and B. Wolffe gave us the complete opposite experience....it was GREAT! We have both been through divorces and as a result, our credit wasn't as good as it used to be. But, that didn't stop these guys. They didn't just "stick us" with a car that fit our price range and financing. They worked with us to find a vehicle that we both love, meets our needs exactly, fits our down-payment and monthly payment goals, and got us approved financing. They never made us feel rushed or bad in any way for having less than perfect credit. Would we go back to this dealership? You bet! Neither of us has ever had a positive experience buying a car until visiting Ken Garff Nissan of Orem. We'll be going back there for all our future car needs. More
I was greeted immediately after entering the Ken Garff Nissan of Orem by a friendly Sales Associated (Billy Brown). He made me feel comfortable right off the bat. I was shown the vehicles I requested an Nissan of Orem by a friendly Sales Associated (Billy Brown). He made me feel comfortable right off the bat. I was shown the vehicles I requested and he answered all my questions with a smile. Once I was seriously considering a vehicle other individuals were brought into the sale. It was obvious they were less interested in helping me to make an informed decision. The vehicle I chose was no longer available so another was offered at a higher price. I inquired upon the additions that caused the increase, and I was told this car has “more stuff”. At that point I was annoyed to say the least. He really expected me to just shell out another grand because this car has “more stuff”! I was a straight shooter and called him out on his ignorance. Things went more smoothly after that. I purchased a new 2011 Nissan Rogue. I LOVE IT! Since it was transferred from another dealership I had to wait for it to arrive. I was given a pick up time, when I arrived the car was on empty. So all in all it the experience had its ups and downs. More
I came in with a big problem with my car, and needing a new car for my wife, who was going back to work. No one else was able to put a deal together that we could live with or afford even after negotiatin new car for my wife, who was going back to work. No one else was able to put a deal together that we could live with or afford even after negotiating forever. I walked in to Ken Garff at 1:45 pm, and by 2:30 I was in the 2 cars that I wanted to be, with the payment that we could afford, even after being upside down in our trade in. The best part was that I didn't even feel like I needed to negotiate, because they got me exactly what I said I needed. It was the best experience I have ever had with a car dealer...and I've dealt with a lot of them. Thanks Jose and team! More

I took my car in to this dealer for some simple warranty service. My dome light and reading lights were not working anymore. I thought, well it's under warranty so I'll just take it in and have them fix it. service. My dome light and reading lights were not working anymore. I thought, well it's under warranty so I'll just take it in and have them fix it. Thinking to myself it could be a bulb blown out or it could be a fuse blown out. Not really wanting to take the light fixture apart to get to the bulb, I just took the car in. Brought the car in at 9am, Four hours go by with no word from them, so I called them on the phone telling them I'll have to come get the car because I have to go to work... I get there and they explain that they simply could not figure out why the light wasn't working, but that to figure it out, they needed more time. More time!! FOUR HOURS wasn't enough time? I got home and pulled out the fuse box cover, looked at the fuse map, used the supplied fuse key and pulled the one labeled "Home Light", one look at the fuse I see it was blown. I drive a mile down the road to AutoZone and buy a 4 pack of fuses for $4, plug the new one in and whammo, back in business. So... in 4 hours in the shop, they couldn't pull a $1.00 fuse and replace it for me? I'd hate to get some actual body/engine/transmission work done here. It'd take months. I've learned my lesson here. When I think I can fix it myself, I'm better off doing it myself. More

Oh boy, where do I begin?! I know this is long, but it is definitely worth reading. I don't feel right even giving this dealership a 1 rating. We have dealt with KG in Riverdale many times, and it was a grea definitely worth reading. I don't feel right even giving this dealership a 1 rating. We have dealt with KG in Riverdale many times, and it was a great car buying experience. I thought it would be the same here. I test drove a Pathfinder and it ran out of gas on a very busy road in Orem. I drove it alone, so I called the dealership to come get me. They came with a can of gas, the salesman put gas in the tank, tried to start the car, and the battery died. Salesman ran back up to the dealership to get cables. We jumped the car and there wasn't enough gas in the tank to start it. SO he runs off to the gas station, and as he's driving away, the can flew out of the truck and gets ran over by a car on University Parkway. I call the dealership again saying that he doesn't have the gas can and doesn't know it's gone. He comes back with gas and finally gets me out of there 40 minutes later. We get back to the dealership and the salesman is completely pressuring me into this car. I told him the engine light was on, and all the problems it had, and he said, "Oh well the engine light is because of a heat sheild problem. We have the part ordered and it will be in soon." So we talked numbers. The guy in the finance office- Brantley I think, was a complete pompus jerk, pushing me this way and that. They said "well lets see if we can get you financed." By the way, it was about 10:30pm. So I sign the paper work and they kept acting like this was my new car and the financing was set and we wouldn't have any problems. So he hands me the keys and a $10 bill. Salesman says, "It's low on gas, so here's 10 bucks to get some gas." To which I respond, "Wait, if I'm buying this car, you need to fill it up." He said, "sorry, but we only do that on new car purchases." So I leave, because it's late and I'm tired of being there. I went to put gas in it and went home. The next day, I go in to the dealership to get an appointment for the service department to fix the problems on the car. The salesmen were upstairs in the loft having a meeting. They were all talking about the fiasco that happened the night before, roaring laughing. I asked for my salesman, and he wouldn't come down to talk to me. I had to be to work, and just got up and left. I tried getting a hold of the salesman, I left a voicemail, then waited a while, then sent him a text, and waited a while, called him again, no answer. So I called the dealership and said, "I'm looking for my salesman and he's trying to avoid me." Finally I get him on the phone. He said, "Well you weren't approved for financing, so we need a co-signer. Can you get a parent or someone to come down and co-sign with you?" So I talk to my dad. He drove 2 hours to get to Orem and see the car and talk about financing with the salesman. The salesman in the beginning didn't even tell my dad about the deal or explain anything to him, he just expected my dad to sign the paper work. My dad began asking him questions, and the salesmam became defensive, had a bad, pushy attitude. He was very conniving, and sly with words. We brought up the fact that the car had a check engine light on, and the tires were so worn out that they were unsafe. Salesman said "well, we agreed to put 2 new tires on the car.", which really wouldn't do any good. It needed 4 new tires! He wasn't willing to budge on the price at all, and he assured us that the car went through a 130 point inspection and there was nothing wrong with it, and the engine light was just a minor problem. The salesman then said, "We stayed up late last night trying to get this deal through, and now you want out of it?"-- trying to blame me and push guilt over on me. WE WOULDN'T HAVE BEEN THERE SO LATE IF THE SALESMAN HAD MADE SURE THE CAR HAD GAS, A FULL BATTERY, AND DIDN'T LOOSE THE GAS CAN ON THE ROAD!!! My dad didn't feel right signing the contract, plus he didn't want to because the salesman was so horrible. The salesman was also getting frustrated and he pulled out the paperwork that I had signed and said, "If you don't pay us this amount, we can take you to court." He explained that the paper work I sign was a contract stating that I had to buy the car. But how am I supposed to buy the car if the bank wouldn't finance me?!?!?! So go ahead and sue a college student, take me to court and sue me for everything that I have (an iPod, some clothes, and a cell phone). You're not going to get much. That threat just pushed us over the edge. They wouldn't give me my car back, so we left the dealership in the Pathfinder. I went back in the next day to deal with the General Manager. He was nice and willing to help out. He knocked some of the price down and said he would give me all 4 new tires at no cost to me. He would get all mechanical issues fixed, and keep the price under sticker price. So I said ok, and my dad was then willing to sign. We agreed that if this Pathfinder wouldn't work out that I could get my old car back and walk away. It was a saturday, and the shop was closed, so he said, "Bring the car in next week and we will get it serviced and change the tires." I was happy that we were actually making some headway on this. I took the car in on tuesday and the shuttle drove me to work. I was all day without a car. I called the service department to get an update on the vehicle. The service manager said, "you need to talk to the salesman about this." and he transfered me. The salesman wasn't there, and neither was the general sales manager. They wouldn't answer there phones. I called the salesman's cell phone and finally got a hold of him. He found out the Pathfinder needed a new CO2 sensor, a new catylitic converter, and a bunch of other stuff, so they were not going to sell the car to me because it would be too costly for them to repair. So later on that night, I went back to the dealership to get that all straightened out. The salesman was no where to be found, and neither was the general sales manager. I asked two different salesman if they could show me around the lot so I could find a different vehicle in that same price range. Both of the salesman refused to help me. They said if they helped me, they would be "stepping on" the toes of the original salesman. So, even more mad, I left the dealership, again with the Pathfinder, and they wouldn't give me my old car back. I called the salesman, he said he would be in the next day and we could work this all out. I was in the middle of finals week, and completely stressed out about finals, about work, and about this overly ridiculous car deal! He said, "Come in and we will find a different car." So later that night, after I had taken my final, I get a call from the salesman. He said "you might as well not come in tonight, the General Manager isn't here, and we won't be able to do anything tonight anyways." I said, "no way, we need to get something done TONIGHT! I'm not dealing with this anymore." It had been 1 week since that I had been dealing with this car and this salesman. He kept leading me on, and jerking me around like some dumb punk kid who didn't know anything. So after my final, I went to the dealership at about 8pm. I walked in, and sat down with the salesman. I told him this was the MOST HORRIBLE nightmare, and how unbelievably aweful this experience had been. I asked him, "What are you going to do to uphould your reputation and keep my business?" He said, "Well, we are going to repair the Pathfinder and give you what we aggreed on." I said, "No way do I want this Pathfinder. It's a lemon, and I want out. Either you are going to get me out of this deal, or you are going to give me the deal of the century on a different vehicle." He said ok. So we looked around the lot for a different car. I found a couple that I liked, and he went into the finance office again and ran numbers with the finance officer. He came back twice with a montly payment of over $300. That wouldn't work for me. I asked him how much they were basing the car at. It was a 2007 and they were trying to sell it to me at the same price as a 2010!!!!!!!!! They would give me $9,000 for my trade, and then they were rolling $2,000+ over onto the loan of the new car. I told them I do not agree to that, and it was NOT a good deal. They were not going to give me the "deal of the century" that I had asked for. So I told them again, I need to get out of this deal. This is not going to work out. The finacial officer and the salesman kept saying, "It depends on if the General manager will let you or not." I told them the General manager already told me if this deal didn't work out, that he would let me walk. They called the general manager to confirm. He told them to just let me have my car back, and let me leave. So what was supposed to be a simple trade in, turned out to be a week long push and shove fiasco of lies, threats, and shady deal-making. I will never go back there, and I advise everyone to avoid this dealership like the plague. More
