I went in to trade-in my Nissan Altima that I purchased last year. I'd worked with Kai and Cody and I knew that they made my first experience buying a car with them perfect & this time was no different. Te last year. I will always recommend this dealer and these guys to everyone and frequently do. Every time I purchase a new vehicle, it will be from Ken Garff Nissan of Orem and everybody in my family feels the same. They went out of their way to help me out of a vehicle that I owned prior to this and was upside down in. Cody went out of his way to get me the best possible interest rate on my trade up. Kai contacts me all the time to make sure that I am happy with my purchase and everytime I go in for a scheduled service, Kai always takes the time to come and see me and say hello and ask if I need anything. The first time I purchased a car, he even stayed for over an hour after the purchase was complete to talk with me and my mom. Cody was the first person to get me into Nissan of Orem and I was glad to hear that he had moved into financing. He could have accepted the first offer of financing that came through, but he kept looking to find me a better rate and we loved talking more to him while we filled out the paperwork. This was my first time working with Terry and even though it was crazy busy there that day and there were several people coming in, he never made us feel like we were rushed and he really listened to what I wanted and got me into a vehicle that I absolutely love. All of the people I have worked with so far at Nissan have made me feel like I was more than a commission check to them, I was a person and they took the time to get to know me and make sure that I was happy every step of the way. I went in looking for a used Titan after talking with Terry and Jake I found out that they could get me into a brand new 2011 Titan. I took my 97 Nissan in for a quote for transmission problems, and was quoted $1800 by Ricky. AFTER they supposedly looked at it. Then the next day after they tore it all apart Tim called us and said i problems, and was quoted $1800 by Ricky. AFTER they supposedly looked at it. Then the next day after they tore it all apart Tim called us and said it would be $3100 to fix. We said no thank you, put it back together, and call us when it is done. They never called us back. After numerous phone calls we were finally told it was ready 48 hours later, and the price was $775 plus tax. My husband argued that they had not kept their word and we should get a reduced rate. When I went to pick it up they did knock $200 off the price, so I paid $649.50. BUT when I got in my truck to drive it home, the carpet was ripped and not put back together the way it was; it looks like they just slapped it together when we said we wouldn't pay their ransome. And when I told the service guy about it he did nothing!!! To top it off they hadn't put it back together right and I had to wait while they fixed the lift so the tires didn't rub. I recommend you NEVER NEVER go there! More
Went to the dealership to purchase a new or used car, was extremely interested in their offer for 0% financing on a new nissan. Spent a few hours hammering out the details with Frank, whom was extremely polite, straightforward and an actual pleasure to do business with. Signed papers with a condition in the contract that "Customer has 48 hours to cancel contract", to allow time to get the trade in car squared away, and, or so we thought, to make sure the deal would work for us. Didn't drive off with the new vehicle, exchange the downpayment, or leave the tradein with them at the time, as there was other details to take care of first. Went back within the hours to cancel, as part of our down payment was still locked up, and we had lost one our jobs. Was told that we were not able to cancel the contract, as we had re-obtained possession of the trade-in. Have currently spent 4 hours with this issue, 2 hours of it sitting in the dealership waiting to speak to someone. More

This was one of the best buying experiences I have had by far. I searched for a used car online on their site and used the instant chat feature to get information on two cars I was interested in buying. I ex far. I explained to Jose online what we were looking for and the price. We proceeded easily back and forth, chatting online, with it ending in a call and a solid and firm price should we choose to come in. Jose was very friendly when we talked, but I was interested in seeing how we would fair when we drove up to Orem the next day. Upon arriving, both cars were sitting in front of the dealership all ready for us to drive. Jose gave us the keys and trusted us to drive both cars to see what we thought. There was absolutely no pressure and when we decided on the car we ended up purchasing, the price was what we had negotiated. It was a very easy process that was respectful and without the usual pressure and haggling we have had to deal with at other dealerships (except when I bought my Saturn). I was dreading going into the finance office because we were going to pay cash and our last encounter at the Ken Garff Mitsubishi/Hyundai downtown was terrible with all kinds of pressure on all ends from sales, to a manager coming out, to the finance officer trying to get us to buy all kinds of warranties. The finance person was delightful and very respectful also and all was done easily. The car was not quite ready to go and we were having new tires put on. Jose arranged for us to take a Nissan home for the evening until the car would be ready the next day. We never asked, he offered and had it all set up in 5 minutes. All in all, I would strongly recommend this dealership. Though I cannot vouch for the other sales people because I did not work with them, I would gladly drive from Salt Lake City to work with Jose again. More

They were trading in two cars for one with the specific goal of lowering their car payment and getting a car large enough to hold three car seats. There were told in an email that they'd be given a full tank of gas after purchase and definitely would leave happy since they would be driving two cars down over 100 miles one way. Before driving down their credit rating, etc. had already been pulled by the dealership and financing and a lower car payment and satisfaction were guaranteed verbally. After spending most of the day down there and over two hours on just financing they waited for the car to be detailed and then were informed by the salesman that there would be no gas added to the tank. My son-in-law held his ground and finally was given money to put gas in the tank (which still left him putting in $20-plus of his own money to fill it). They had the car about two weeks when they noticed the one car they traded in had still not been paid off and they had a payment due on the car they traded in. He called down and they were informed that they had to re-sign new paperwork at a new payment and that they had to make that payment on their trade-in to avoid it hitting their credit. My SIL informed them that he couldn't drive down right then as they were demanding because his wife was due to have a baby in the next day or so. They finally agreed to send up the paperwork the next business day, which was Monday. On Monday my daughter gave birth with the baby ending up in the NICU. The next day they got a call that they had to go down that day to sign papers and when my SIL refused he was told to come and get his cars, RIGHT NOW! He explained his situation and that a baby was in the NICU but they said he had to go then. He found a friend to drive the second car as his wife was still in the hospital and ran down. Conveniently, no-one he needed to speak with was in the office when he got there so he just got the cars and left. I have urged them to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I have an extensive family in the Salt Lake/Provo area and will be sending out emails to all of them about the experience my daughter had. I also will be blogging about this experience to warn others who may be thinking of buying a car there. When they bought the car the salesman was incredibly rude and kept saying he would have never said this or that but my SIL has all the emails to back up that he did say it. Initially my daughter said she'd buy a car from Ken Garff again but just not from this salesman. Now they're firm in the fact they would never buy a car there again. There's still time for Ken Garff to try to make amends with them on this but given their experiences there I doubt anything will be done to try to rectify the situation. More
