I purchased a vehicle in August. The payments were higher than I wanted to spend so they told me once the vehicle was funded they would send me a check to help make the payment for a year. I told the higher than I wanted to spend so they told me once the vehicle was funded they would send me a check to help make the payment for a year. I told them great and that I would keep my already paid for vehicle until I heard that the new car was funded, because I didn't want to be without a vehicle. The end of September came and I received the check for payment assistance and I went and sold my car under the assumption the new car had funded because I had received the check. Low and behold it didn't fund and I didn't find out about it until the end of October - so I went back in and signed more papers -- The end of November came and found out that they had waited to long to send the docs to the bank and the bank was now denying the loan - so I went in again and signed new papers - only to be called back in the next day, because they put the wrong bank info on them. Now its the week before Christmas and they want tax returns and some IRS documents - I have previously sent them 5 months worth of check stubs as well a bank account information showing that I have enough money to cover the loan. I told them I was more than frustrated with all their crap and they told me to just return the car -- so now I have to return the car, I have no car, and they also have the 1000 bucks I gave them for a down payment. I have never had so many problems in my life - simply ridiculous! Also - it should be noted that I had to replace the front tires, even though the salesman told me they would because it wouldn't pass a safety inspection and had to pay for an oil leak to be fixed -- bunch of crap! I don't think I am alone when I say that I hate making major purchases because I always feel as if I am going to be taken advantage of. I do research on the internet, I comparison shop, and I hope to rea major purchases because I always feel as if I am going to be taken advantage of. I do research on the internet, I comparison shop, and I hope to really inform myself yet it always seems as if when it comes to a deal I somehow end up being the "loser". That was not the case at the Ken Garff Nissan of Orem. I truly felt as if the goal of Tony my salesman and Brantley the super kind manager was to make sure I was satisfied and that both the dealership and I would feel as if we each were happy with the deal. I can honestly say its not often in a sales situation I can look someone dead in the eye and feel he is being forthright and honest. That was the case with Brantley. We were looking to buy a used Murano which there where several on the lot but they found the right one for us at the right price and did several little "extra" things after the contract was signed that really made me feel I was being taken care of even though they had my signature on the dotted line. I will make sure to let all my family know (which is a lot here in Utah) but I wanted to tell everyone else too. Why not share a good thing. Thanks again Nissan of Orem and thanks Tony and Brantley. Thanks Terry for making our experience a great one. We really appreciated the honesty and integrity that you showed us. I would Highly Reccomend Terry for anyone interested in buying a new or used car fro really appreciated the honesty and integrity that you showed us. I would Highly Reccomend Terry for anyone interested in buying a new or used car from him. We went to buy a used 2010 3.5 Altima but someone pulled out to test drive it as we were pulling in, long story short they bought the car and we didnt. With the Manufacture rebates and some great people at Ken Garff Nissan of Orem we were able to walk out of there with a new 2012 Altima 2.5 SL for below MSRP. Thanks again Terry and the rest of the staff! More
550 Credit Score or better??? If you want to be LIED to go see KEN GARFF NISSAN OF OREM. I spent two days emailing Ky, the salesman at Ken Garff. I wanted to make it clear that I didn't need to be sold on go see KEN GARFF NISSAN OF OREM. I spent two days emailing Ky, the salesman at Ken Garff. I wanted to make it clear that I didn't need to be sold on a car. I needed to trade in my current vehicle and get another, more reliable, vehicle and improve my credit score. Ky PROMISED me that, with my mother as a co-signer, he could make it happen. 1. All the sales associates as Ken Garff look like lounge-lizzards with ties and sunglasses on. 2. Even after making an appointment with Ky, and two-days of emailing to make sure I wasn't wasting mine or my mother's time...we were at the dealership getting a run-around for 3 HOURS! 3. Then, meeting the 'Finance guy' Cody gave me a feeling of uneasiness they way he was choosing his words regarding the finance 'deal' so carefully. 4. May 6th, 2011 I signed, my mother co-signed. I gave them my trade-in and down payment (additional finanical documentation) and drove away in a 2010 Nissan Sentra. I thought I misjudged the situation, because I had gotten the terms and vehicle I asked for. 5. UNTIL...over 30 days later after driving my new vehicle and waiting for the plates and payment coupon book to arrive, did I find out that the only thing in my mailbox was 4 credit REJECTION letters!!! 6. NO ONE would answer my calls/messages/or questions from Ken Garff. I finally just showed up at the dealership to demand answers to what had happened. My credit score was worse than before because of the hard inquiries into my credit rating. My co-signer's credit score was worse. My financing terms couldn't be met!!! ONE MONTH LATER--that's when I found out via the mail that the loan I assumed I had committed to didn't even exsist! 7. The finance department said that the only thing they could do was finance the vehicle in my mother's name. I demanded my traded vehicle and my down payment be returned. The salesman thought my trade-in vehicle was sold, but the finance manager said it was not. Then the finance manager wanted to CHARGE ME FOR MILES ON THE 2010 SENTRA I THOUGHT I HAS PURCHASED 1 MONTH EARLIER. 8. I left with my trade-in vehicle and my down payment was refunded after I refused to pay miles on the Sentra, and declined the 'offer' to have my mother solely finance the vehicle (how would that have helped my credit score)??? 9. Ken Garff Nissan of Orem falsely advertised their financing options and the only thing I got from them was WORSE CREDIT than I started with due to the hard inquries. 10. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND KEN GARF NISSAN OF OREM TO ANYONE! More
This dealership made false advertisements regarding there Nissan Altima for $ 16,999 and zero percent financing. It was one of those "Bait and Switch" deals. It's frustrating dealing with companies like this Nissan Altima for $ 16,999 and zero percent financing. It was one of those "Bait and Switch" deals. It's frustrating dealing with companies like this. Even with their ad in hand they refused to honor it. Dealerships that lie just to get you in the door is stupid. Hopefully nobody will actually buy from them when brought into there dealership with lies and false advertising. More

I went here looking for a used car and had a specific one in mind. First I met Jordan who went for a test drive with me and explained everything about the vehicle. I couldn't buy that day so I went back a in mind. First I met Jordan who went for a test drive with me and explained everything about the vehicle. I couldn't buy that day so I went back a few days later and met with Frank who took over for Jordan and helped me with all the details of the car I wanted. Jordan even came in on his day off to meet with Frank and me to finish up all the details of my trade/purchase!! They are the guys to see when you go here! I then met with Brantley to go over the details of my financing options and he was very nice! Finally I did all my paperwork with Cody, who was on the ball and very quick. GREAT EXPERIENCE!!! Fast, informed, friendly and helpful!! One of the best experiences I've had at a dealership. And I love my car :) More
My mother bought a car from them a few weeks ago and nothing the salesman told us was done like he said it would be. My mother immediately told them she wanted the loan done through a credit union, the nothing the salesman told us was done like he said it would be. My mother immediately told them she wanted the loan done through a credit union, they said that wouldn't be a problem, and without telling her, did the loan through Bank of America at a higher rate than she would have received from the credit union. They added over 3,000 dollars in fees to the price of the car. The windshield was cracked from top to bottom and the interior of the car was absolutely disgusting. When specifically asked about both of these issues, the salesman said they would be taken care of promptly. The dealership didn't set anything up for the windshield or detailing when my mom left and she didn't hear from them for almost a week. She finally called them and it took an additional 2 days for them to fix the windshield. She then needed to take the car in twice for safety and emissions and after an additional week, she asked them about the detailing again. They told her to bring it in again and all they did was wash the outside. Everything was a total inconvenience. More
