GM Tyler Slade dishonorably not backing his own Salesman, acting extremely unprofessional in the process. He now possesses both his and my vehicle. Appointment was made to come from Ogden to meet with Bryan acting extremely unprofessional in the process. He now possesses both his and my vehicle. Appointment was made to come from Ogden to meet with Bryan Wagstaff at 6:30 the evening of 06-Jul with a text confirmation from Bryan. I arrived 5 minutes early and spoke with the front desk and another sales person. They phoned Bryan and advised me that "he worked the 4th so he is not coming in". So I discussed with Christian (Sugar), he filled in for Bryan and with Brantley about terms. Brantley left Sugar and I to converse where we discussed the car fax and other details on the car. We also discussed worst case scenario, where I was advised there were three days to return the car if indeed worst case did occur. That eased the mind. After sometime I was lead over to finance and I headed off to Ogden. After several miles down the road I received a call that I needed to return to the dealership due to not having been asked for the title. The next day the car left fluid on the drive way and began making horrible noises. Not being a mechanic and knowing I was within the agreed upon timeframe given by Sugar, I advised Tyler, Bryan and Sugar via email I was going to get the car back to them as quick as possible, no need to use any more of the 3 days. I headed back down to Orem on Saturday morning and received a call from Brantley advising I would be there in 40 mins. Arriving at the dealership at that time I spoke with the front desk who called for Brantley where I was compelled to wait for some time, (the receptionist called a second time). While waiting Sugar spoke with me about the concerns and again assured me commenting "fair enough". THe one star is soley for Sugar's efforts to stand by his word. Brantley and I spoke, we agreed to help the mechanic (Jason) assess the issues. Jason and I took the vehicle for a ride and returned to the dealership. After sometime Jason returned to advise he could not find any leak and thought that the noise originated from the internal plastic bar that sits just behind the backseats in the rear section of the car. He adjusted that bar and we again drove the vehicle. The noise remained and so he had me stop the car so he could ride in the back seat. I chauffeured him back to the dealership. Brantley and I again spoke and he left to speak with Sugar, after waiting an extended period of time, where another sales person noticed the extent of the wait and asked if I was being "taken care of". Brantley did return where we faced an impasse, the request was made to contact Tyler, with the reply that he did not want to bother Tyler at home. He did mention that it is not standard practice to "unwind" a deal though he has seen it accomplished a few times. I left with word from Brantley that I would receive communication from Tyler on Monday. Over the following few days I have received multiple calls from Bryan asking for additional documentation so he can finish the deal. I have not provided that documentation leaving the "deal" unfinished. For the hours spent at the dealership I have yet to meet Bryan nor has there been any effort to ask about the car or the experience. Brantley did call again with the same information discussed Saturday. Tyler did respond via email, where I advised I would be dropping off his car, it was not rightly mine so not right to continue driving it. I contacted Capital One Auto Finance to cancel the offer and was advised from Kiana that it was only an offer and was early in the process so could easily be canceled. No money was exchanged, only vehicles. 2000 Ford Expedition traded in for a 2007 Dodge Caliber. A time was appointed to meet Tyler on 10-Jul-2012 at 3:00. I arrived a few minutes early to find the Tyler was not at that location and I would have to wait for him. Tyler did arrive and invited me to his office where I returned the keys to the vehicle. When asked if he would indeed return my vehicle per his salesman's word he became extremely belligerent and unprofessional even resorting to name calling. I left his office not responding to the behavior. He now is in possession of both vehicles. Ken Garff Automotive group should be embarrassed by Tyler. It would be wonderful to get the good word on who others can go to, to avoid a like experience. Tyler had a real chance to back his people but chose not to. I have filed the experience with the Better Business Bureau and will continue to share the experience. Do hope Tyler does decide to do the right thing. More
We bought a nissan juke last year and thought we had a great deal but thuth be known we di not. We financed through Nissan for a year then we were to obtain other financing. We are finding out noe we were great deal but thuth be known we di not. We financed through Nissan for a year then we were to obtain other financing. We are finding out noe we were way over charged that the $146.00 that the dealer was to be paying was actually just added onto our cost, the vehicle was to have been an AWD and is only FWD we still owe over 26k on this vehicle what we are learning from other dealers is the practice of cookie jaring which is not legal. We were taken to the clleaners from them they need to have their dealership noted in this that they are cheats, to say the least and this doesn't seem to bother them. I won't go there again and i will let anyone that is possibly thinking of a vehicle from them to stay clear. More
I purchased a car from them last year and experienced pretty much every scam people on here are talking about. They said I had to buy a ton of optional financial products (like gap insurance) in order t pretty much every scam people on here are talking about. They said I had to buy a ton of optional financial products (like gap insurance) in order to get 2.9% financing and they'd get me a doable payment by giving me $2K cash back (after subtracting my down payment it was more like $500) and having me apply that to my extra high payment for the first year. They wouldn't budge on negotiating the vehicle price. I couldn't afford that and told them I'd walk, so they put in writing that they'd refinance my car in a year when their payment program scam ran out so my car would still be affordable. I was satisfied with that offer and drove away in my new car. One year later, I went back to them to refinance and this Brantley guy tells me either I can buy a new car and use the payment scam (and play this game again in a year) or I can take a hike. I dealt with Terry Rasmussen and Brantley Reade. They are both untrustworthy and will do anything to AVOID HAVING TO BACK-U-UP. DON'T BUY FROM THEM, EVER. More

First impression was great. I went to go look at a used Xterra that was listed on KSL. The salesman was very nice, informative, and not pushy at all. I decided to buy the car and they even agreed to fix a Xterra that was listed on KSL. The salesman was very nice, informative, and not pushy at all. I decided to buy the car and they even agreed to fix a few things that needed repaired. I was so excited to get a new-used car after owning mine for 10+ years. During the finance part though it wasn't as pleasant. The financier did not like us asking questions and acted like we were bothering him. He made us think the car was financed and the deal went through with the low interest rate, but after having to ask 100 times we found out that it was not financed yet, but was told there would be no problems with getting it. I didn't feel comfortable with putting down $3500 cash on a car where the deal wasn't finalized because I have heard of people having to return the car and pay mileage fees etc. I didn't give them the down payment, but was told I can come get the car the next day once repairs and financing went through. No one called me! I had to call several times the next day and letf messages and no return call. The following day I called again and was told that there was just a few things on their end that needed to be taken care of and was told I would get a call. NO ONE called. For 1 week I called SEVERAL times and got the run around saying that they got 2 offers but needed to talk to so and so and would call me back or I was out of town for the last 2 days..., etc. NO Call BACK! It has now been 2+ weeks and I have still heard nothing from them! They dropped the ball big time. Even if I couldn't get financed they should have called to tell me. Or if the rate was higher I would have still bought the car! Now I received a car accident settlement and have cash for a car without having to be financed and I will not go to them to buy because of this. They lost my business because they didn't have the decency to call me or be honest and tell me what was going on. I felt like as soon as they couldn't finance me they wanted nothing to do with me. So disappointed in their finance office. More
We just purchased our second vehicle from Ken Garff Nissan in Orem. Will return in the future. Our sales associate, Brian Kelley, was most helpful and patient as we test drove several vehicles. Garff's Nissan in Orem. Will return in the future. Our sales associate, Brian Kelley, was most helpful and patient as we test drove several vehicles. Garff's prices are very competitive and they really strive to meet all of your needs. For example, after purchasing the vehicle we discovered it was missing a smart key and owner's manual. Brian promptly supplied both at no charge. More

I love my used Pathfinder, but really wish I would have taken my business somewhere else! We were lied to in the process of signing paperwork and even though the dealership admitted so afterward, they rare taken my business somewhere else! We were lied to in the process of signing paperwork and even though the dealership admitted so afterward, they rarely returned calls or emails and eventually refused to fix the mistake! I have honestly NEVER experienced such HORRIBLE customer service! Buy a Nissan, I've loved both of mine...just buy it from another dealer!!! More
Sorry, but these guys are SUPER DISHONEST. They recently sold my sister a car after telling them they had been approved. My sister and brother-in-law were honest with them letting them know that their credi sold my sister a car after telling them they had been approved. My sister and brother-in-law were honest with them letting them know that their credit wasn't the greatest and what they could and couldn't do. However, after trading in their car and being excited about the new, they were given a call a couple weeks later saying the financing didn't work out and that they needed an additional amount down on the car. It was an amount far over what they said they could put down. I've bought a few cars and never had this be an issue, even once when my financing didn't get approved, the dealership in Pleasanton, Ca. ate the difference. Not only that, but they went ahead and sold their old car. Why would they do that if they didn't know the deal would go through or not. We later found out from a dealer out of Moab that these guys are notorious for doing this. They will tell you they don't discriminate against people based on their credit, but when the financing is more, they'll have let you drive the car for a couple of weeks so you're attached whereas you could've said no in the first place. Shady and dishonest dealership. They also lured them in for the first car they were interested in and sold it out from under them which to me is tacky. We are spreading the word. Dishonest companies should NOT get business. More
