Ken Garff Nissan Riverdale

Worked with Nathan Kester on 4 Oct 2021. The service advisor said my mother-in-law needed a NEW Transmission for her 2014 Nissan Rogue claiming the transmission oil was black and burned and needed to be advisor said my mother-in-law needed a NEW Transmission for her 2014 Nissan Rogue claiming the transmission oil was black and burned and needed to be replaced for a cost $4,000. Ken Garff Nissan could install a new transmission! An independent agent review of the transmission reflected that there was NOT PROBLEM with the transmission and the oil was not burned and there was no need to replace the transmission. Ken Garff could not have checked the oil. The transmission pipe stopper leading into the transmission was clearly never removed to check the oil. Metal in the oil? All transmissions have some metal with usage of the vehicle and cannot be seen, if there was any metal, without pumping the oil out of the transmission. Such was not done. The vehicle owner who took the vehicle in for Diagnostic service was a 85 years old woman; and, Ken Garff Nissan was only taking advantage of an eldering individual. I personally would not take any of my vehicles into their service center. You want someone who can be trusted. Can you trust them? More
