I would give zero stars if I could. I have been looking for a specific vehicle for a while now, and finally find one here. I live in AZ, but have purchased cars out of state before, a I have been looking for a specific vehicle for a while now, and finally find one here. I live in AZ, but have purchased cars out of state before, and thought this seemed to be a reliable dealership and a good salesperson. I asked a few questions and wanted honest answers, It was a preowned vehicle, so I knew it wouldn't be perfect. But, I wanted to know detailed condition and make sure it had a good and complete mechanical inspection and also wanted to make sure everything was "stock" and that there were no modifications. I was sent a picture of two small scratches and assured it was in excellent mechanical shape. So, I agreed to the purchase and flew from Phoenix to Salt Lake to get the car. Picked it up late in the evening right before closing and admittedly made the mistake of trusting them. The next morning, I get up to drive back to Phoenix and see one of the tires has a bulge in it. Find a shop nearby and they tell me I'm "probably" ok to make it the 700 miles to PHX. I did thankfully. However, on the way, encounter some rain and realize the wipers are shot. Also, realize the power window on the driver's side isn't working properly. Decide when I get home, I am going to have a full inspection. Then I find out the clutch is aftermarket and is shot. So all said and done, I pay full price for a car and now am looking at $4k+ to make it "mechanically sound" and get it into the shape I was promised. And that is to say nothing of all the scratches, dents, and rock chips I wasn't told about. I would say this dealerships "mechanical inspection" consists of driving it around the block and getting it washed. And that is to say nothing of the dishonesty. Unfortunately living 700 miles away, I'm pretty much on my own. Also, my calls don't get returned either. Guess they were just happy to get my cashiers check and are laughing all the way to the bank. More
