We met LaNett, she showed us all the features of the car we were interested in, provided information regarding custom ordering so we could have one with our preferences, and worked with us through our trade-in and special requests. We now have our beautiful new car! We found the process: selecting, ordering, purchasing, and dealing with the service department easy and friendly. No pressure ever, just treated us as old friends. Poor Service Department I felt their service department was way over priced!!!! They quoted me list price for everything they wanted to fix on my Mercedes ML320 and over esti I felt their service department was way over priced!!!! They quoted me list price for everything they wanted to fix on my Mercedes ML320 and over estimated their labor. With a little research on the internet I was able to diagnosis the problem and fix it for $1,200 less than what they quoted me. I asked them a simple question about the radio and their answer was I don't know we would need to do a $120.00 diagnostics. I got the answer I was looking for on you tube in five minutes for free ( it was so simple I felt their techs. should have known. The guy just needed to go to the trouble and ask.). More

Never again KG of SLC! I have been a long term client of Ken Garff, SLC...until today. I bought my first car from Steve Zitting, wonderful experience, second, third and four I have been a long term client of Ken Garff, SLC...until today. I bought my first car from Steve Zitting, wonderful experience, second, third and fourth cars from Mark Raleigh, also great experiences! Mark has moved out of state and Steve was promoted to the Linden years ago. I went in to try to negotiate a new lease on a new CLA and unfortunately worked with Larry Taylor. I have never been through a more unprofessional experience. Very negative, when I told Larry that I wanted dark grey, he called me back to say that he had found a red, white and black CLA....?? Larry alsokept telling me all of the things he could not do, reminded me several times that he was very busy and that he was the "Finance Manager" and Mercedes could not ignore the extra miles that I had on my car and that I would have to put new tires on my car before I could turn it in. I found a car that would have been suitable in their inventory on the Internet and when I told him about the car he said that it was 42,000, when on the Internet it said the car was 37,000. He then proceeded to tell about their gross margin, that he would only make 100.00 on the car and Mark had made 2000.00 on the previous deal. I felt as though I should feel badly about everything he was teling me and finally I told him I couldn't work with him. All of this was in the open showroom with Larry using a loud voice so that all other clients in the showroom could hear what he was saying. When I finally got up to leave another client that had been looking at cars came over to me and asked if I was ok, he said he felt imbarassed for me and apologized on their behalf. I then asked to talk to Larry's manager and was greeted with" what do yo want me to do, fire him"? Then he proceeded to introduce himself to me and tell me about how many clients love Larry even though he is "brash"....and that there were "some" that did not like him. I was then told that the deal had to work for him and then it may work for me. I was offered the option of working with a different sales man. Promised that I would receive a phone call the following Monday. No thanks...I spoke with Steve Zitting in Linden a few moments after I had left SLC and , he remembered the first deal we did together several years ago, told me I would not need to replace the tires, and he would be happy to keep me happy, asked me exactly what I wanted, repeated back to me the information to me that I had given him and asked me if he could call First thing the next morning. Now that's the professional experience I would expect to receive with Mercedes Benz. I will NEVER go back to SLC Mercedes, if it weren't for Steve Zitting I would not have bought another Mercedes. The same client that overheard the conversation between Larry and me also over heard the conversation I had with the sales manager who refused to let me talk to the general manager because he had "just as much "power" as his manager...Mercedes Benz is a beautiful car with great appeal and reputation, too bad these two employees are such bad representations of the car. More
