I bought my car in April and noticed that there was three cracks in the windshield. I asked them if they would replace the windshield and I was told that it would take one to two weeks to fix and they would cracks in the windshield. I asked them if they would replace the windshield and I was told that it would take one to two weeks to fix and they would charge ME for it before I even bought the car. I was then reassured that those cracks were chipped and sealed and they wouldn’t cause me any issues even when it got cold. I woke up this morning to run some errands and started my car up and my heater was set to 73 to defrost my windshield as it snowed. As soon as I took off to drive I noticed that one of the cracks was spreading outward and across my entire windshield. I contacted the dealership and told them what had happened and who I worked with and they said they would get back to me. They left me a voicemail from the salesman saying that I hit something or had more rocks to hit my windshield (which I didn’t) and that there was no way that he could help me. He sounded irritated and was overall rude in his voicemail. I will never go back to this dealership nor will I tell my family or friends to go here. I should’ve read these reviews before purchasing at Ken Garff. More
Best Car Buying Experience of My Life They did t waste my time with talking about cars they knew I couldn’t afford. They asked what I was looking for and I told them. I indicated how much I wanted to pay and what I could offer down. It took some time for the financier and salesman to get a deal going, but they never once came out and asked to barter or negotiate. They knew the goal and though it took some time they kept at it until they were able to get me the payment I could afford. They looked into every avenue first. They didn’t keep trying to talk me into paying more, so when they finally came out and said, this is the best we can do, and it was only $13 more a month then I asked them for, I agreed. I knew they’d done their best and I left in a brand new Kona, the closest to “baseline” model they had and yet outside of leather seats, came with every bell and whistle I wanted. Best part, my insurance only when up $38 thanks to all the included safety features! More

Unprofessionalism at its best! This location is horrible. They lie to get you in the door then try to put you into something you don't want. Walked away with a beautiful fully loaded Altima. Not only newer but a better price than a Hyundia! I would never refer anybody to this dealership!! More

My wife and I went to Ken Garff Hyundai Southtowne to look at trading in one of vehicles on a new Hyundai hybrid. The salesperson with whom we dealt was pleasant and knowledgeable; once the deal involved one of the "Sales Managers" the situation began to remind me of dealing with a sleazy side street used car dealer. Our time was wasted with "well this is really the best we can do," and "you shouldn't bother going to get a quote on the value of your trade elsewhere, because, we know how the other dealers operate and they are just trying to make money". Then, just like you would expect out of a sleazy side street used car dealer, once we left, they started offering market value on our trade. This on its own is fine, they are sleazy, and they act like it; for me to leave a bad review on that alone would be like being angry at a bee for having a stinger. It was over the next few days that Ken Garff Hyundai Southtowne's willingness to disregard honor and integrity really began to show. After the "Sales Manager" (apparently from his you tube video he is the sales manager of sales managers at that dealership) emailed me about my experience, I replied with how we felt about being treated like naive school children by his staff. He didn’t have the internal fortitude to email me back himslef, but I did start receiving text messages from his staff stating "Oh, it looks like I missed a call from you this morning". This was obviously an attempt for the "Sales Manager" to make someone else solve his problem....which is fine.....some people are simply weak....hopefully he owns it. My main concern with his resolution tactic is that at its heart, it is a lie.... Even if I had pocket dialed the dealership it would show up in my call log....which it does not, however, if Ken Garff would like to respond to this message with the time at which I contacted them I would be happy to listen. Be warned, if Ken Garff Hyundai Southtowne is comfortable with dishonesty, then, they are comfortable with dishonesty. For those of you out there who like the car buying experience to be a battle with a dishonest foe, or an interrogation with a liar....then you will love your experience there. However, if you are counting on Ken Garff Hyundai Southtowne to provide you with honest answers and numbers, I would suggest you make sure to be well researched and take multiple days to review the information they tell you. A liar will always be a liar, and you can count on them to do only one thing.....to lie for their own benefit. More
Horrible service department Spring 2017 Review: I was nervous when this dealership went from Riverton to Ken Garff as I have had good experiences with Riverton but have not had a Spring 2017 Review: I was nervous when this dealership went from Riverton to Ken Garff as I have had good experiences with Riverton but have not had any with Garff for many years. The service here is horrible. I was charged for an A/C recharge before being told that is truly what I needed. When I asked why a new car needs an A/C recharge. I was told it wasn't likely without something else being wrong, and I was offered a refund by the service manager. This offer was immediately redacted (literally within a few sentences) by the same service manager who originally offered me a full refund. They ended up only giving me a small (10%) credit towards the A/C recharge. I was told that warranty work and a full refund could be covered if I just came in again for another checkup to find the "real" problem. Why this dealership is unable to accurately diagnose an A/C system in one visit is beyond me. Additionally, I was also told they couldn't give me anything in writing guaranteeing what they were verbally telling me. Absolutely deplorable service. I will NEVER buy a car from, or recommend, Ken Garff. I had a terrible experience 10 years ago on a previous car purchase and subsequent botched service attempts (on a brand new car), and the shady practices obviously remain the same today. Spring 2018 UPDATE: I brought my car in for the checkup to find the "real" problem a few months after my above experience (I had one last pre-paid oil change at Garff and didn't want to waste it). I specifically asked for another A/C check, and I was told there is nothing wrong with my A/C and the recharge did the trick. Fast forward six months to the first time I use A/C this year and it is 100% dead again. Firestone found a gigantic leak in the system and said it was impossible to miss if you even did a cursory check of the A/C system. The car is now out of the bumper to bumper warranty. Good job Garff, you screwed me out of hundreds of dollars on a simple A/C leak. You lied to my face on two separate visits (including lies by the service manager), refused to fix a broken A/C system under Hyundai warranty, and you created a customer who is telling everyone how terribly you run dealerships.
