One Price Guarantee is a lie I want to preface my review by saying the salesman that helped me truly was fantastic, but he was new and there were issues in regards to the pricing. I was in Idaho and looking for a 2016 hyundai sonata hybrid. After going through true car Ken Garff sent me an email for a price offer. Ken Garff has this one price, one person, one hour guarantee. The price that is locked in on your certificate in email is non-negotiable. Here's the kicker: 200 miles into my drive to pick up my new car, the salesman contacts me to tell me the locked in price is on a loaner car that was totaled the previous week. He explained to me that that price that was supposedly a guarantee was indeed actually not guaranteed HAHA, It was now going to cost me more for a new 2016 Sonata. What bothered me is that Ken Garff garnishes this motto: one person, one car, one hour. Where there is no negotiating the price that is locked, and this one price promised to you is what you'll get. I even spoke with the salesman to make sure that the price I'd be getting was indeed what he told me and that no bait switch was going to happen. I doubled checked on all the other fees included in the loan so that I for sure knew nothing weird was going to happen. Yet, to my dismay the price was changed on me. I told him it was unacceptable, because if the price was non-negotiable or unchangeable that meant to me that neither party could change it, but the car dealership did. Unfortunately, their mistake was not my problem, and was not my fault. A car dealership that cares for their reputation would have honored the price, since the difference was only hundreds.Due to this I have to give the dealership a one star rating unless someone makes this right with me. More
