Stephanie, Sorry to hear about your dog chewing up one of your key fobs. We have looked into the matter to find there is absolutely “zero” coverage for dogs chewing up key fobs. Our service team absorbed the diagnosis and labor costs to program a new key fob and asked only that you pay our cost for the part. Our staff also offered to provide a loaner car to enable you to make your meeting on time. Nobody’s perfect, but we are confident you would not have received these accommodations from another dealer. We respectfully ask that you reconsider the services provided and recant your recent review posted to social media. In response to Spradley Barr, I was told my a member of your team that the cost would be covered and asked this member of your team if she was sure because of the damage that was done. Your employee told me that it would be covered so I would expect a company to follow through on their word no matter what the situation is. You are a very profitable company and I was certainly not asking for thousands of dollars off. I was asking that you stick to what I was told. To be treated poorly when I called and told I never made an appointment and that was why my car was taking longer than I expected was not professional. I will NOT recant my statement as I believe my review was honest. I am most certain I would not have been treated this way if I went to a different dealership. This is the third Mazda I have purchased and you would think they would want to treat a loyal buyer with respect.
